At Banana Moon Day Nursery Wollaton, caring, qualified staff observe and assess children's development and most importantly provide a variety of learning experiences that are fun and build on what the children already know.

Calm tranquil rest is a prerequisite for babies and younger children and the nursery has sleep rooms equipped with cots and sleep mattresses. Each child has their own bed linen which is regularly laundered in house.

Children are given delicious homemade, nutritious meals and are offered five portions of fruit and vegetables every day. The team ensure they have the opportunity to spend time outside every day throughout the year for fresh air and exercise. When children prefer to stay indoors, an alternative physical activity is provided such as yoga and dancing.

CCTV operates throughout the nursery for the protection of children. Parents have fingerprint access directly into the nursery to drop off and collect children.

An app that shows you what your child has been doing throughout the day. E.g., sleep times, nappy changes and any food or bottles that they have consumed. There are also pictures and videos that are sent directly to your phone whilst you're at work to give you that extra reassurance.

My daughter attended Banana Moon for almost 4 years and we could not be happier with the care and support she received during her time there, the staff have been brilliant throughout and we were lucky that those who looked after her as a baby also looked after her in her preschool year too. She became
close with the staff who we always felt we could trust and it was clear they genuinely care about all the children. Whenever we did need to raise a small issue, this was dealt with quickly and professionally and there's a real collaboration between staff and parents. A range of activities was always available and a special mention must go to the homecooked food provided every day that my daughter loved, and the children were taught about healthy eating and growing their own too. My daughter was always happy to go to nursery and has grown into a confident, social child who has started school absolutely thriving. Thank you Banana Moon!

We've been with Banana Moon Wollaton for almost 5 years, with both of our children attending and our youngest is still there. From day one, we've felt nothing but trust and confidence in their care. The nursery is incredibly safe, with measures like a defibrillator and anti-choking device on site, which
gives such peace of mind.
The staff are truly wonderful -warm, attentive, and always happy to help, suggest ideas, and listen to any concerns. They take the time to share stories and little moments from the children's day, which means so much to us.The children also adore the nursery's incredible chef, who creates the most delicious, nutritious meals and makes food fun by teaching them about ingredients, cooking, and gardening.
Most importantly, the children absolutely love it. They talk about nursery all the time and can't wait to go back, which says everything about the atmosphere and care provided. It's clear that the children's happiness and wellbeing are always the top priority.

I currently have my 2 year old daughter at Banana Moon Nursery and I couldn't be happier with the care, support and learning she receives from the staff when she is attending. My desicion to put her in this nursery was based of my previous experience with my son who also attended until he left to go
to reception. I cannot fault the location, the facilities or the staff. Any queries I have ever asked, have always been answered promptly and all staff are very friendly and approachable. I couldn't be happier with the care my children have been provided with. As a parent you always worry when you leave your child about if they are happy, fulfilled and cared for and I can 100percent confirm that when I leave my child in the care of the Banana Moon staff, I know she is happy and safe.

I could not be happier with the care, attention, and love my child receives at Banana Moon. From the very first day, the staff have been warm, welcoming, and genuinely invested in my child's happiness and development.
Every morning, we're greeted with smiles, and I can leave knowing my little one is
in a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. The team are incredibly attentive to each child's needs, and they've created a wonderful balance between learning and play.
I've noticed such amazing progress in my child's confidence, social skills, and curiosity since joining. The activities are varied and creative, the space is always clean and inviting, and communication with parents is excellent.
It's clear the staff truly love what they do - and it shows in the joy my child has when talking about their day. I feel very lucky to have found Banana Moon especially with how close it is to home. Perfect location and perfect Nursery that I can't recommend it highly enough.

My 3 years old has been attending for 6 months and she has developed new interpersonal skills and vocabulary since in the care of Bananamoon Wollaton. Staff are kind and caring, and really tried to make her feel safe and included when she first started and was a bit unsure. She now gets really excited
to go to Nursery, talk about her favourite "teachers" all the time and is always happy to see her friend from "school". The app is really helpful in seeing what the children are up to, the food they eat and activities they share.

My baby girl has been attending Banana moon since June 2024 when she turned 1year old and all has been going really well. My daughter is always excited when we drop her off and nursery days are her best days.
The staff are very approachable, caring, and very professional. I am quite impressed with
the variety of food and the nursery's dedication to encourage healthy feeding options.
The manager, always listens and endeavours to consider any specific requests to make things easier for me.
I want to particularly thank the baby moons and mini moons staff for their support in helping my daughter transition smoothly to the mini moons room as she turned 2. My daughter is always happy and you all contribute to that as you care for her.

The team in Mini Moons are THE BEST! this team looks after my child in the absolute best way, they know her and her likes an dislikes, the connect with her, know how to settle her when she's upset and how to engage with her in activities. The atmosphere in the room is amazing and calm and cheerful and
all pictures shared via the app are essential to me to feel like I am included in my daughter's day. A special mention also to the lady that always appears at the right moment to entertain my daughter and make her smile. Thank you of course for the amazing cooking!
I also want to mention that the nursery doesn't only look after the children but they look after the parents as well. The stay and play, the lovely breakfasts, all the time I got upset under the pressures of mum guilt, there was always a kind face from the Banana Moon ready to talk to me. Thank you so much! Both my children have attended this nursery since 9 months with the youngest still an attendance. I think it is a fantastic nursery- the workers all truly care for and build beautiful relations the children, catering to their individual needs and personalities. They do lots of arts and crafts and cooking
while at nursery as well as encouraging at home activities. They are great at celebrating lots of different important festivals from all cultures which is great. I also think chef is amazing, both my kids love everything she makes. She is brilliant at making healthy meals that the children enjoy and was really accommodating when my youngest was still moving in from purées to finger foods.

The staff are really friendly and helpful, they update the app regularly and respond to messages quickly.
My daughter has only recently started attending the nursery this month, but has already settled in perfectly and looks forward to going.
As quite an anxious person, this nursery has made the
transition to being away from my daughter much easier. They treat the children with kindness, love and affection and it's the perfect environment for them to thrive in.

My child started attending a few months ago, at first I was very anxious to leave her with strangers but the staff are exceptional. They settle her really quickly , and every time she's been at nursery she always has good things to say about her day and who she played with. The mini moons room leader
is especially an amazing asset , my daughter will sit talking to me about her quite often. I definitely feel my daughter is in good hands at this nursery and really have no complaints.

Banana Moon is a wonderful nursery. The staff are intelligent, knowledgeable, and care for the children so much. It's quite clear that the job is their priority when the kids are in their care. They constantly keep you up to date and always inform you of tumbles or emotions.
When we first went to
view the nursery, they didn't mind answering my million questions and showed us every aspect of what or who our child would be interacting with. We knew instantly that it was the right choice.
We have had nothing but appreciation for how comfortable they made our child feel from day 1. They had patience and took time to get to know our child. They take safety very seriously and ensure it is enforced with every parent or carer who picks their child up.
As our child transitions to school this year, we can only thank all the staff at the nursery for all they have done. We couldn't be more thankful. We just wish they had a school attached to the nursery!

Banana Moon Day Nursery Wollaton has been outstanding from the start. They settled my little boy in beautifully and took their time to really get to know him, his personality and what he needs. The team feels like a second family to us all now and my little one loves going to nursery and is full of
adoration for all the adults and children. My children have been to 4 different nurseries over the past few years and Banana Moon by far has the best and most welcoming environment. They provide so many opportunities for children with additional projects like baking or crafting and their family events are planned and hosted with so much care. I have never felt like a burden to the team and they are so supportive of our family as a whole. My child has made so much progress, is happy and supported and will absolutely be ready for big school in September (although he will really miss his Banana Moon family!). I can't thank everyone enough for loving my little boy as if he were their own.

What a fantastic nursery. We have been at Banana Moon Day Nursery Wollaton for 6 years and have always found the staff so kind, caring and approachable. Our daughters have thrived, and the effort put into everyday activities and special events is amazing. The daily updates are so important and offer
