Monkey Puzzle Enfield is a nurturing, child-centred nursery where children are at the heart of everything they do. As part of an award-winning nursery group, the team at Monkey Puzzle Enfield has created a warm and welcoming environment where children feel safe, happy, and inspired to learn every day.

Conveniently located just a few minutes’ walk from Enfield Town Train Station and close to the town’s main shops, the nursery is perfectly placed for busy families.

The setting is designed to feel like a home from home. From calm, engaging playrooms to a lovely outdoor play area, every space has been thoughtfully created to spark curiosity and help children explore, make friends, and grow in confidence.

I visited Monkey Puzzle as a pregnant, first time, anxious mum, probably 4 years ago now when the nursery had just opened its' doors. It was apparent from the offset that the franchise owner had big ambitions for Monkey Puzzle Enfield, from the food to the equipment, to the staff and the facilities
they have always aimed high and still to this day have high expectations for how they run the nursery.
Throughout the pandemic, we were kept well informed, and with nursery staff put in such a tough situation, they have been absolutely outstanding. Smiles during tough times, advice when you need it, a real feeling of togetherness - and you know that they do truly care about your little one.
My son loves attending this nursery, he has made great friends, his fussy eating has practically disappeared and he learns so much each week that passes. Importantly he loves his carers. We will be sad to leave for primary school in 2022!
You will be very lucky to gain a place at this nursery!

Our son attends Enfield's branch of Monkey Puzzle and really loves it. We've found the activities for him to be really varied and educational and he comes home most days having learnt something new.
Both my partner and I are freelance and sometimes we have to put our son into nursery at short notice
- we have found the management to be extremely accommodating and quick in responding.
We couldn’t recommend Monkey Puzzle Enfield more highly!

My son has been at Monkey Puzzle Enfield since he was 10 months old and is now leaving at age 3 due to a family relocation. We have had a very positive experience of Monkey Puzzle. My son has benefited hugely from the variety of activities, caring nature of the staff and the right balance between play
and learning. It really has shaped him into the inquisitive little person he is today. Throughout COVID the team at Monkey Puzzle have shown fantastic teamwork - putting the safety of the staff and children first whilst still making the nursery a welcoming place to be. I really couldn’t rate Monkey Puzzle more highly and I know my son will miss it greatly. Thank you Monkey Puzzle team!

What a fabulous nursery. Great facilities and amazing staff. The kids thoroughly enjoy attending and I would definitely highly recommend it.


Also, the nursery is conveniently located within easy reach of public transport - an added bonus for parents commuting to work straight after drop off.

I am exceptionally pleased with how this nursery serves the needs of my baby and family. Going back to work earlier meant more anxiety about childcare but I am so glad I found this provider as they do an amazing job in all areas and alleviate all my anxieties.
Particular favourites are the constant
updating of parents about their child’s progress, ways to support at home and the caring staff, they care as though the children are their own! They are overall a very professional organisation and I would (and already have) recommended them to others.

Monkey Puzzle is a great local nursery, it’s very clean, modern and up to date which appealed to me. The food is all freshly prepared too which is a plus. My little one loved it there due to the staff who are great. We are first time parents so leaving him was not easy but we did feel very confident

My daughter has been going to Monkey Puzzle for a few months and she absolutely adores going to nursery. She loves her teachers in preschool and talks about them everyday and what she has learnt. My daughter has become so much more confident in herself which we are very happy to see. The staff and management
are amazing and create a safe and family orientated environment. The garden space is very big where children can play freely in either the artificial grass area and the natural area. The teaching and activities that we have seen are exceptional. My daughter is learning Spanish and British Sign Language, as well as participating in drama classes. We are so happy we found Monkey Puzzle and have recommended the nursery to all our friends. We can not praise the nursery enough!!

I have had the best experience with Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery from the day my little one started. It definitely exceeded my expectations because you can absolutely tell the staff love what they do. I feel so rest assured leaving my child in someone else's hands, 5-star care.

This nursery is really good as I’ve seen a good outcome in the development of our child. I have recommended it to a friend but due to the distance they couldn’t send their child there. The staff are doing good work with the kids. I can only say well done. So far so good

The activities are great and interactive. I would like for breakfast to be more exciting, as it seems you only serve cereals. Also, it would be great if all kids would receive maybe more hugs and kisses from the staff.

Daughter has only been coming for about 4 months, all the staff are lovely, made us feel welcome the day we came to visit and my daughter really loves coming here. She has now got to the point she doesn’t want to come home when we pick her up, she turns away. I’m glad we picked Monkey Puzzle. Thank

Fantastic staff and nursery. The baby room is perfect and my child has really bonded with the key worker. If the nursery sees something that needs your attention they bring it up to you immediately. When picking up my child in the evening, staff always take out 5 mins to tell me how the day was and
what the babies have been up to. I am thinking of putting my baby in more days.

Such an amazing nursery, the girls are all lovely and make you feel at such ease leaving your precious ones with them. I love the app they have that they update on a regular basis so you can see what your child is up to and can message the girls if you think anything is wrong. Would highly recommend

Mediha is the Regional Business Manager at Monkey Puzzle Enfield and Southgate.


"Hi, I’m Mediha and I’m the Regional Business Manager for Enfield and Southgate, with over 14 years of experience in the early years sector.


My journey began when I started volunteering at a local nursery in my area, an experience that gave me purpose and sparked my passion for early years education. Since then, I’ve held a variety of roles, including practitioner, room leader, and deputy manager, manager, previously leading the Enfield branch before stepping into my current role.


As a mum to a wonderful little boy, I understand how important it is to create nurturing, engaging environments where children can thrive. I'm passionate about supporting teams to deliver the highest standards of care and learning for every child.

Sumaiya is the Nursery Manager and has been working within childcare for over 12 years, including 7 years in a managerial role.


She is extremely passionate when it comes to seeing children succeed and strives to manage the nursery to the highest standard possible. Sumaiya is very professional but also approachable at the same time, and is always seeking to learn more within the industry in terms of what works best for our little ones and what strategies we can try to develop further. She says, "I believe that there is always room for improvement, so I am always open to seeking out what I can do more to succeed in my goals and vision for the nursery".
