Monkey Puzzle Enfield is a nurturing, child-centred nursery where children are at the heart of everything they do. As part of an award-winning nursery group, the team at Monkey Puzzle Enfield has created a warm and welcoming environment where children feel safe, happy, and inspired to learn every day.

Conveniently located just a few minutes’ walk from Enfield Town Train Station and close to the town’s main shops, the nursery is perfectly placed for busy families.

The setting is designed to feel like a home from home. From calm, engaging playrooms to a lovely outdoor play area, every space has been thoughtfully created to spark curiosity and help children explore, make friends, and grow in confidence.

Our daughter has been at Monkey Puzzle for the past 2 or so years and I'm always recommending it to others! The staff are amazing. Our daughter had trouble speaking outside of the home, where she'd freeze up. However, the staff were so supportive in following the SLT advice we were given and letting
her talk in her own time. They also seemed to recognise themselves quite quickly that she prefers to observe at first. It's been so reassuring that they recognise her character and traits and the way they've cared for her has really helped her grow in confidence. She'd talking much more now there! All of her key workers and room leads have been fantastic and we've found this to be consistent throughout all the rooms from baby to toddler to preschool.

I was quite anxious about choosing a nursery for my daughter because she means so much to me, and I had never left her with anyone else since her birth. However, I am thrilled with our decision to go with Monkey Puzzle. The staff there genuinely loves and cares for children; they are incredibly sweet
and attentive to their needs. My daughter adjusted smoothly, facing no struggles even in her first week. The nursery itself is impeccably clean, something I noticed during our first visit. It was the only nursery that requested I remove my shoes before entering the baby room, a detail that did not go unnoticed. They maintain a high staff-to-child ratio, with one teacher for every three children, which is better than average and very important. They also use an app that allows me to see how much she has eaten, the activities she is engaged in, and to communicate with the staff and my daughter's primary carer whenever I need to. So far, it has been a wonderful experience! Highly reccomended

My daughter has been going to Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery for seven months and I have had an excellent experience. We are accustomed to nursery as she has been going for three years but this is definitely one of the best. Very good communication, lots of kids activities, excellent food and wonderful staff!
The staff are the best asset to any nursery and yours are amazing.

All staff have been so welcoming to my daughter. The communication is great. My daughter has learnt so much with the guidance of her key worker. Not only do I receive a quick review on the day, I can check the app to see what she has done and eaten that day.

I feel like my child has developed immensely since joining. She has learned many new things from Makaton to writing her name. The staff always provide feedback, both in person and via the app. Our child always looks forward to nursery and misses it when she's not there. They do a range of activities
and also encourage children to eat a variety of food.

I am extremely satisfied with Monkey Puzzle. They have been very good with my daughter, the way they care for her is fantastic which gives us peace of mind whilst at work. The staff are amazing and they really care about my daughter. They have great communication with the parents. I visited 15 nurseries and I am pleased with my choice. The Enfield branch has great outdoor space.


They use a parent app and post everything relevant to my kid. I feel that I am part of

her day. Then, I can have a proper conversation with my little one regarding her day. I love that.


I moved to another neighbourhood, but Monkey Puzzle is not there. I spend 30-45 minutes driving from my new house to the nursery, just because they are definitely the best nursery.


I couldn't recommend the nursery more.

Monkey Puzzle is truly an exceptional nursery. Everything you could wish for in a nursery is provided here and I am so grateful for this.
The practitioners are so passionate about their jobs and take such wonderful care of my daughter. The management are very informative and their communication is
fantastic. It is managed very well.


The range of activities they have for the children are amazing and the fact some of these are shared for parents/carers to do at home is such a nice touch.


The variety of nutritious meals is incredible and my daughter enjoys them thoroughly (hats off to the chef as she is an exceptional cook).


The parent app also is brilliant and keeps me well updated of my daughter's day. It’s lovely to see photos and videos uploaded on a daily basis.


To conclude, I am so happy with Monkey Puzzle and I truly believe my daughter is attending the very best nursery and for me that is priceless!

After having to change my son’s nursery, it was a scary decision but as I knew a couple of the girls and having a lovely show around from the manager I knew that sending him to Monkey Puzzle was the right decision. My son really enjoys his time there. He has learnt so much, his speech has come on dramatically
and his eating habits have become much better! I want to thank all the girls at Monkey Puzzle who have made the process such a good one and especially the ladies in the toddler room who show so much care for my son.

My granddaughter thoroughly loved her time at Monkey Puzzle Enfield. The staff are very professional, loving and caring. Activities are varied with a combination of learning and play. They bring out the best in your child, encouraging and supportive.
During the pandemic, we were kept up to date and
knew they had difficult decisions to make, at the same time putting the children first.

I love Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Enfield, the nursery has truly transformed my daughter. I like the fact that they understand the child’s developments and all the staff are professional with a really strong passion for the children.
I like the fact that the nursery is clean and pays close attention
to hygiene.
My daughter loves the nursery, she joined in March 2019 when she was 1 and a half.
I recommend Monkey Puzzle to any parent looking for their children to have an excellent experience.

Mediha is the Regional Business Manager at Monkey Puzzle Enfield and Southgate.


"Hi, I’m Mediha and I’m the Regional Business Manager for Enfield and Southgate, with over 14 years of experience in the early years sector.


My journey began when I started volunteering at a local nursery in my area, an experience that gave me purpose and sparked my passion for early years education. Since then, I’ve held a variety of roles, including practitioner, room leader, and deputy manager, manager, previously leading the Enfield branch before stepping into my current role.


As a mum to a wonderful little boy, I understand how important it is to create nurturing, engaging environments where children can thrive. I'm passionate about supporting teams to deliver the highest standards of care and learning for every child.

Sumaiya is the Nursery Manager and has been working within childcare for over 12 years, including 7 years in a managerial role.


She is extremely passionate when it comes to seeing children succeed and strives to manage the nursery to the highest standard possible. Sumaiya is very professional but also approachable at the same time, and is always seeking to learn more within the industry in terms of what works best for our little ones and what strategies we can try to develop further.
