The first in this family of nurseries, N Stoke Newington has been rethinking the nursery experience for families since 2017 and is rated 'Outstanding' (April 2019) by Ofsted.

In 2020, N Family Club opened a sister nursery, located just across the road on Church Street, which has been specifically designed for younger age groups. Children who join Church Street as babies will then graduate to join the Defoe Road nursery, dedicated to older children who will shortly be going to primary school.

N Defoe Road has a host of amazing facilities, including four beautiful, modern playrooms designed to support their progressive early years curriculum. All children over 3 years old have the opportunity to engage and gain an understanding of the great outdoors during the daily Forest School-inspired sessions. All meals are seasonal, prepared fresh on site, and have been created with the support of Laura Matthews, the former Head of Nutrition at Jamie Oliver.

Nurseries, for many, are more than just daycare. Now more than ever, families are geographically spread, and for some, the nursery community is that support network for families – a place to come together. N designed N Family Club with this in mind. There's a dedicated parent space to relax and meet new families. And, as N members, parents also have access to Family Club: a programme of events for N families to spend quality time together. This includes an annual Spooky disco, Christmas grotto, Sports Day, as well as monthly online talks led by experts in the early years sector.

We couldn’t recommend N Family Club, Stoke Newington more highly. Our son is so happy there, he greets staff with a big hug at drop off and I often have to coax him out of there at the end of the day. It has a lovely, family atmosphere which you feel as soon as you walk in. All of the staff are so friendly
and you really get the impression that they love your child as much as you do!
Our son’s key person has been amazing since the start, I’m regularly impressed by how well she knows him and I often pick her brain for advice when we encounter new stages. Our son’s really bonded with her, as well as all of the other members of staff.
It’s a very professional setup. We’re kept updated daily with details and photos of our son’s day and have regular catch-ups around his development. The kids are kept very entertained with varied, imaginative activities and trips out. There’s also a lot of reading and singing as a group which my son loves. He couldn't be in better hands!

Wonderful and enriching setting run by the most loving and dedicated team. Amazing care for the kids from delicious food, to forest school and an array of outdoor activities. The team are so encouraging and support the kids in exploring activities they are most interested in, alongside the classroom’s

N Family Club Defoe Road is a fantastic family nursery. From drop off to pick up you are kept informed of all the exciting things your children are up to in a fun, friendly way, focusing on each child. There is lots of emphasis on creativity and supporting children’s personal and emotional development.
My son loves his key person who is caring, fun and focuses on his specific development needs - as well as having lots of fun together! He has a great bond with her (and the other staff) and drop-offs, settling and even the adjustment post-COVID has been really smooth because of the great relationships they have built. The management team have been fantastic from the beginning - more recently done an incredible job supporting through COVID - we felt really well informed throughout (thank you to the great manager and team!). The setup inside is great - focused on safe, creative play, encouraging constant development. The healthy, varied food puts our home efforts to shame! We love it!

Our son has been in attendance at N Family Club since early 2018 and we have nothing but positive words to say. The practitioners are wonderful; nurturing and caring. The education is everything you could ask for, creative and inspiring, including taking as many opportunities as possible to visit the
local wilderness for forest school. The nursery environment is exceptional and the food excellent. Thoroughly recommend.

A company with an extended family approach to childcare. I'm always greeted warmly and my child has many special bonds with various members of staff, from the cook to his educator. I never have to worry about the care and love my son is receiving and he always talks fondly of his time there.

Selen has worked in childcare for 15 years and has a degree in early childhood studies. Her passion for working with young children comes from seeing how her mother who was an educator positively impacted young lives. She aspires to be the type of educator who can inspire others too.
