Mama Bear's Day Nursery and Pre-School (Whitchurch)

My son has loved this setting he’s been there since Jan 18 and has evolved massively with the help of the staff and the resources on hand.

The staff are approachable and friendly and keep you up to speed with constant feedback both verbally and through e-log.

The setting is excellent with a brilliant outside space which they use all year round, they offer a huge range of activities exposing the children to many different learning vehicles from basic letter formation to various messy play stations so that the children get a wide range of different sensory experiences as well.

They welcome parent feedback with a suggestion box and parent feedback questionnaires so are always striving to add new activities and improve if required.

I would recommend anyone send their child here and my youngest can’t wait to start in September.

The staff is brilliant, always great communication. I can trust them to take great care of my child.

Our son swapped from a different nursery environment to Mama Bear's Day Nursery a couple of months ago as we were unhappy with the level of care! He has settled better than could ever have been expected and we are sure this is because of the amazing staff that provide such a kind and caring welcome to all of the children! He has now made lots of friends and his learning and development has really come on in such a short amount of time! I would not hesitate to recommend this nursery and I am grateful to all there!

Since joining Mama Bear's in Whitchurch, my daughter has developed hugely. She loves going and can't wait to go back. She has a new found love of washing her hands and is obsessed with the 'please and thank you' song! This is the first time I have left her in a setting such as this and she has settled in so well - I have no doubt that this is down to the great staff employed at this setting. The manageress is so friendly and approachable and my daughters key worker is amazing and I feel they have developed a bond already. The children play outside everyday and they are always laughing and smiling. My daughter has a genuinely wonderful time there and I can't thank the team enough for that.

The nursery is an excellent medium for my child. He is always happy here and learns something new every day - words, songs, activities.

Since he has been coming here, he has improved his English very well as we are another nationality. The staff are always very kind and give all the best for the happiness of our children.
