Mama Bear's Day Nursery and Pre-School (Whitchurch)

My child has attended Mama Bear's for 1 year and my child absolutely loves going, in fact every day of the week she asks to go to school. The staff are helpful, reliable and professional at all times, and I have had a positive experience and would recommend this setting to any parent for their child/children.

I have only good words to say about Mama’s Bear Day Nursery. The staff are very caring friendly and helpful! Any time you have a concern about your child they always there to help you! I recommended this day care!

I absolutely love it here. My son enjoys himself and is always doing fun things. I love how they keep you up-to-date throughout the whole day with what they’ve been up to, what they have eaten and nappy changes. All the staff are friendly and caring and it’s nice sending my son to nursery knowing he’s well looked after.

Really friendly staff, brilliant communication skills and really good support. My son already missing the class. Big shout out to the manager. Will definitely be registering my younger daughter for Mama Bear's, Whitchurch.

We are very pleased with the Gospel Hall Mama Bear's Day Nursery. We recently moved to UK and I was really worried about my son getting used to the new school and the environment. But he was really happy in his nursery for an entire 4 months period and we saw a lot of positive changes in him in his social skills. He found really nice friends too. One member of staff is so kind and caring towards him and others are also really warm and played their role in our son's improvement. I am really happy and will definitely recommend this Nursery.

My child has loved coming to Mama Bear's Day Nursery. The team have done a great job in challenging times (covid). All staff are very caring and made great connections with my child. Mama Bears have been an amazing start to my child’s learning journey.

My daughter loves going to pre-school. We had a few tears when she first started but thanks to lots of cuddles and care, she gradually settled in and now looks forward to each day. We both prefer the smaller setting of Gospel Hall, where she has developed a strong connection with the manager and has a great relationship with the whole team. Learning through play, especially singing has helped her expand her knowledge and she has made lots of friends. I'm very happy with her progress since she started in January and thank all the staff at Gospel Hall.

My daughter has been attending for some time now, and I cannot speak highly enough of the team here. From my perspective, it is well organised, and the team are incredibly flexible and accommodating. My daughter has made many new friends there that will hopefully follow her into school as well, and every day she tells me about what she's been up to which is always different. Thank you to the team!

My son started here September 2021. He absolutely loves coming to this nursery. At first he would not eat or try anything as he is quite fussy, but the manager and her amazing team always made sure he at least had something he liked. Thanks to their encouragement and patience he now has his lunch nearly all the time. He has come on leaps and bounds thanks to their exceptional skills and experience, I cannot praise them enough. The manager and her team are brilliant and always give 110% to the children and the parents/carers, and are always so easy to talk to and give excellent advice if needed. If I had another child who was starting nursery I would definitely send them to Mama Bear’s at Gospel Hall

We chose Mama Bear's Day Nursery because it was closest to our house and we love that. Our daughter loves going to the nursery. She learns a lot there. We have been teaching her to count and letters but she never could remember. After a few months of going to nursery, she easily can count to 20! There is a lot of activities and good food. Sometimes my daughter is hungry all day long and they never keep her hungry. If she wants a snack they will give her yoghurt or something else before tea time. All staff are very friendly. They are like mums and best friends together while she is at nursery. Always caring, gentle and smiling. My daughter won't stop talking about them. Highly recommend Mama Bear's Day Nursery and Preschool to all parents. We are sad that in September we have to leave when my daughter will start to go to school.

Friendly people, our daughter feels okay in the middle of the kids, nothing to complain about. So hope all the ladies from the nursery will do some nice things with our kids in the future. Litlle one looks well inside the nursery, so everything is okay. All the best.

My boy loves his preschool. Both of us love the smaller setting, which gives the child more attention, safety and confidence than bigger, noisy surroundings. The staff are very welcoming and bubbly, going beyond their job title to help children and parents. My boy always runs in excited for the activities of the day; he loves water and messy play and learning through play. I’m glad we found this little hidden gem!

The team at Mama Bear's Day Nursery and Pre-School (Whitchurch) have really pulled together over a very difficult year for all of us. My daughter has made strong connections with the manager and two other members of staff and I have noted on a regular basis that they have given her comfort when I have collected her a bit earlier than planned and whilst playing in the garden when I wasn’t expected. She always wants to stay longer, which I think is a very good sign that she is happy and content. All the kids are full of beans and seem really happy. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone who are quite hands on with their kids like us and might worry if they are getting a high level of care when they are working. Well done to everyone at Mama Bear's Day Nursery and Pre-School (Whitchurch).

I have been very pleased with the care and support the staff at Mama Bear's Day Nursery and Pre-School (Whitchurch) have given to my son while attending this nursery. He has only been going for a few months and from very early on he has been singing the nurseries songs that he has picked up from there, which has been lovely to hear. Through these songs he has been learning about the months of the year and the different types of weather. He has recently started potty training and the staff have shown great support in helping him tackle this challenge of his. It’s great to hear they are personally pleased for him when he is successful. I would like to say a big thank you to the manager for always being available through email to answer any concerns or questions I have, as I am not always able to do the drop off and pick ups. Also, to all the staff, including my sons key worker for all the hard work she has put in since my son started. Thank you ladies, keep up the brilliant work.

This is a fantastic nursery thanks to the amazing staff that work here, they are friendly and helpful and I always feel they support and listen. My daughter started in January and since then she has started learning lot of things and her development is very good. She adores the staff and I can see that they adore her. She has made friends and day by day she gets more happy when she goes there, playing in the garden and exploring new things. I love seeing pictures and videos of what she’s been doing when uploaded to the app. Thanks to you again for everything and to the amazing staff.

My son as been going to this Mama Bear's since October 2020 when he turned 3. He was so shy and was struggling with his vocabulary. Since starting he has improved massively, he’s starting to use the toilet on his own, his speech has come on massively and he absolutely loves going. Thanks so much guys, you're all so great and welcoming, couldn’t ask for a better team! My son adores you all.

The Whitchurch Mama Bear's has lovely staff who will do anything for every child. They were great with my little one as he has taken a long time to get settled. It’s great that it is all year round. I would only say when they are full they haven't got space for you to add extra sessions if needed due to work commitments but other than that a lovely place.

The entire team has been wonderful throughout. Our son has progressed in areas of speech, communication and social behaviour. The staff are very alert and have notified me of any incidents, in a professional and timely manner. The team work very well together. The whole experience has been wonderful, not only for our son but also for us. We will all miss the nursery staff very much. I sincerely recommend this nursery.
