Hungry Caterpillar Day Nursery - Chalfont St Peter

My daughter enjoys her days at the nursery and always comes out happy. The garden and outdoor play is her favourite. We are updated about her progress weekly via an app with pictures which is wonderful.

Really can’t recommend Hungry Caterpillar Day Nursery - Chalfont St Peter highly enough. Our son has been with them from the babies room through to preschool and absolutely loves it. He’s built great relationships with many of the teachers and has made lots of friends. Very safe, lots of fun activities and amazing food. We have our second registered and have recommended to a number of friends.

Our daughter has been attending Hungry Caterpillars Day Nursery - Chalfont St Peter since she was seven months old. I have always felt content dropping her off and I never have to worry. Our daughter runs in the door giggling, happy and is always full of excitement when she comes out. She is learning new things every day. The staff are wonderful.

Fantastic staff - they genuinely nurture and love the children. It is joyous to see. You couldn't ask for more professional, dedicated, caring and fun staff. A real credit to Hungry Caterpillars. Can’t thank Hungry Caterpillars nursery and all the staff enough. Our boys joined in October crying at drop of every day, and now they can’t wait to get through the door. They have built such lovely bonds with many members of the team, and it makes us so happy to know how cared for they are and how much fun they have.

Both of my daughters have attended this nursery, from baby room to pre-school and have both loved it. The staff are great and the facilities are amazing. The girls have thrived in this environment. I thoroughly recommend Hungry Caterpillar Nursery.

Our child has attended the nursery from 5 months old and he is now 4 years old and is a very confident and happy child. He absolutely loves going to nursery and we believe it has a huge part to play in the fact that our boy is the confident, happy child that he is. The staff have all been involved with our son at some point, as over the years he has worked his way through all the stages. They are all caring and encouraging, allowing the children to develop in a safe caring environment and for us, as a family, it’s been a huge help with our work-life, knowing that our child is in a safe place where he is happy, learning, and looked after.

I could not have asked for more from Hungry Caterpillars in helping my daughter's transition to nursery go smoothly. The baby room team were extremely kind and sweet with her from the very start (14 months old), and have continued to be. She settled in happily in less than 2 weeks, which was amazing, and I was well supported by the team on the couple of occasions she wasn't delighted that I was leaving. The nursery nurses genuinely care about their charges, there is a lovely atmosphere in the room and the babies just love the brilliant activities that are set up for them each day. I wondered whether my daughter would nap properly, but the team are experts in making the babies feel secure and relaxed and getting proper sleep. They even helped managed my baby's transition from two naps to one. They've also helped her learn to feed herself with a spoon. She loves her nursery, and I am thrilled. I thought my elder daughter's nursery in London was great, but this is superb.

A kind, caring group of staff, with a good management structure and part of an established Nursery group. Parents are listened to, communication is good and there are always plenty of cuddles for the children. Facilities are modern and the Hersey environment is always clean.

Lovely nursery! Hungry Caterpillars is a very warm and nurturing environment and the carers really engage with the children. My Daughter absolutely loves it there, no tears at drop off and a happy smiley face at collection. When asked if she’s had a good day she always says yes and tells you a song she has been learning or shows you colours, numbers or days of the week. The other day she spoke in French!

The venue itself is clean and tidy and the resources are brilliant. The staff in toddler room are second to none and have created a really special bond with my little one. It’s safe to say that when watching them they seem to have this with all the children in their care. I look forward to my son starting there very soon!
