Hungry Caterpillar Day Nursery - Chalfont St Peter

We are really pleased with the nursery, which our son has now been going to for over half a year. He settled in very quickly thanks to the lovely staff who take great care of the children. He has really developed since being there, which is probably down to all the activities and play they do every day - never a dull moment it seems. We get updated daily on everything they have got up to / eaten / how they have slept etc, which I really appreciate. I would highly recommend this nursery to others.

The nursery staff are great, friendly, kind and caring. My children love it there and I'm so impressed at the exciting things the team constantly think up and the care they take to share feedback on our children's progress.

Our daughter joined Hungry Caterpillars at 11 months old and has truly bloomed since then. The developmental support and encouragement she is provided in all aspects relevant to an energetic toddler are fantastic and the updates we receive along with her reassuring smiles every day are brilliant.

Brilliant nursery. Cannot ask for a better care for my child. Outstanding staff and great effort. My son has been there since he was one and been moved to his last room now. Throughout his journey there has never been one instance that I could fault in the nursery.

She has a good relationship with all teachers! She's speaking already and is really independent!

App works really well! We have updated information about the baby all day long!

Amazing nursery who support my son with every milestone since he's been 11 months old (he's now nearly 3!). So thankful I chose this nursery as feel so happy with the updates and challenges the give him to keep him entertained 4 days of the week.

This nursery holds a special place in our hearts, they've looked after both my children who started after their first birthday and left just before starting school. My kids have made some fantastic memories from their time there. The staff are caring, the food is made fresh (which they always ate!), and they took part in many engaging activities over the years. They always rang to flag any issues so I was always kept up to date. Thank you for looking after both of my children and being their safe space for many years, we will miss the nursery dearly.

Both of our children started here in September and they have had a very loving and attentive transition. Our son in particular has received a lot of rewarding focus on the areas of development where he was lagging and we have seen vast improvements here and elsewhere. The staff are always receptive to queries and the updates on the children's progress is regular and well documented. We are very happy with the setting and hope that both kids remain in their care for the entirety for their nursery journey.

Lovely nursery with very caring staff. They keep you in the loop with important updates and communication throughout the week is good. They provide many activities for the children throughout the day, as well as a lovely menu! Would recommend.

Both my husband and I have been very happy with the service from the start (August 2024).

The staff are all very friendly and professional. The team looking after my son are all very warm and make sure he's learning and looked after properly. His key worker is very invested in his development, happiness and welfare.

This is a great nursery. The staff are very friendly and genuinely care about the children. The staff really helped to settle our son into the nursery and continues to ensure he was happy. The management of the nursery is brilliant, which means the staff in each room can concentrate fully on the children. The weekly topics are engaging, and the staff try to ensure the topics spark the children’s interest in new ways.

We have had a positive experience with this nursery. All staff members are approachable and caring and have made our child feel at home there. He settled in quickly, and daily communication and updates from the nursery are great. Would recommend.

The only issue is the car park. Nothings else. I highly recommend it.

My daughter recently started at Hungry Caterpillars and has become really settled there thanks to the care from the staff. They offer a variety of lovely activities, provide delicious lunches, keep you updated with everything you need to know through the app and have been a great support throughout the transition.
