Shooting Stars Nurseries at Worcester

My son has moved from the baby room through pre-toddlers and is now in toddler one. In all rooms, he has been content and happy and built firm attachments to all the staff. He loves nursery and all the wide range of activities that he gets to do every day.

The only thing I can in hindsight criticise is that at school the kids are grouped according to the knowledge of the phonics and numbers and then taught accordingly throughout. My son does not seem to have been taught any significant amount of phonics so all he knew was the letters in his name. Even though he is a clever cookie this placed him in a much lower group than he would have been in had he been taught phonics at preschool. I am not a fan of teaching kids already at the preschool level but in order to give them the best chance at school, it seems to be of advantage if they are made aware of letters to some level (in a playful way).

We have been so pleased with how well our daughter settled into Nursery since September. There is a real caring and nurturing atmosphere. Staff established where our daughter is in her development, which really put our minds at rest about where we can support her further. We love the regular updates about her progress and we even get to see things which she does during the day using their app, as nursery staff take photos and videos of things that she does. It was wonderful to see my daughter learn to walk in a different setting, she has become so confident and she is always encouraged by nursery staff. It is wonderful to see her now run up to the staff at the door and not give one thought about leaving us when we drop her off. I have nothing but praise for the team and would recommend this nursery to anyone!

Our daughter has recently started with the nursery and as parents, we were very apprehensive but the team at Shooting Stars have really made her feel welcome and have helped her to settle in brilliantly. The nursery is great indoor and out and the equipment they have for the children is excellent. We look forward to dropping her off knowing she’s going to have a fun day and be well cared for. The team in the baby room offer such a lovely environment and with the bonus of nursery cam, we can see for ourselves how caring and attentive they are with all the little ones. We couldn’t be more grateful for how easy the nursery have made the whole experience and all the staff we have come into contact with have been lovely.

The NurseryCam was a bonus - it’s lovely to be able to see what they are getting up to at various points throughout the day. The staff we have met have been lovely and we have been really impressed with the professional way they have managed the COVID safety measures. Would highly recommend.

Their enthusiasm is contagious, and they work so well when it comes to discussing children's individual needs (toilet training for example).

In particular, I would like to highlight the Baby Room Leader, who has been fantastic and understanding in her approach with us as parents (nervous first-timers!), and obviously our son, whose transition from home to nursery was seamless thanks to her and her team's effort. Dropping off and picking up a happy little boy is all we hoped for when we embarked upon the nursery decision making process. That being said we have been amazed by his development in all areas, including coordination and speech which is improving on a week by week basis.

Since moving to Shooting Stars in February, after having to quickly find an alternative childcare service, we have been extremely happy with the service, care and support provided by Shooting Stars. Their friendly and approachable manner meant that we got our little one happily settled into nursery life again with no hassle and no tears! Our little one loves going to the nursery and with the daily observations and feedback, we can see she is thriving in the environment there which is very satisfying for any parent. The staff are wonderful and communicate very well - we highly recommend!

It's an added bonus that there is always parking and it's in a great location with a lovely building, surroundings, garden and facilities.

I would recommend Shooting Stars nursery to everyone. The staff are really caring and attentive and built an excellent bond with my son who was 15 months old when he started. He loved his time there and I always felt he was being well looked after. The outdoor play area is brilliant and the classrooms are all newly refurbished with new toys and equipment. The staff are also really thorough with the feedback they provide and the parent can receive online notifications of my son's updates which gave me the added peace of mind that he was in good hands.

Our daughter has attended this nursery for over 2 years now and absolutely loves going. The staff are so welcoming and genuinely care about the children and their development. Staff go out of their way to encourage and engage children in activities and as parents, we feel comfortable that we’re leaving our little girl in safe hands. Resources are great and the recently refurbished garden is a great space to play and explore.

I honestly couldn’t be happier with Shooting Stars in Worcester. As a parent, finding the right care for your child is vital and when you find the right place, you just know it’s the place for you. That’s how I feel at Shooting Stars.

My Daughter is in the Pre School room and every day is a hive of activity. She has so much to challenge her and stimulate her in the room and outdoor area and the activities are always new and exciting. The preschool staff are extremely knowledgable, professional and above all absolutely love and care for my daughter, respecting her as an individual and nurturing her in her own special way.

The Nursery Manager and Deputy Manager are fantastic. They will go out of their way to always help, offer advice and listen. Every day we are greeted with a warm smile and we really feel part of the family. That to me is so important and so special because I know we always have an open door and a friendly face waiting for us at nursery.

The staff are brilliant at keeping me up to date with everything that happens and make me feel so happy and secure. I absolutely love it there and genuinely do not have a bad word to say about the place. I recommend it to everyone.

We get constant updates on our daughter's progress and development. The CCTV system is something which I think really puts Shooting Stars above the rest. Anytime in the day I can check up on baby and make sure she is ok and it just gives me peace of mind. The food which is provided is always very healthy, varied and home made. The staff really care about our daughter and it’s almost like they are extended family. They spend a lot of time with her and I couldn’t be happier with the care which is being provided for her.

My daughter loves this nursery. The staff are kind, caring and show a passion for their job. The nursery is an exciting place to be with many opportunities to explore and have fun!

I have two children at Shooting Stars Nurseries at Worcester, both in two different rooms, the care they receive whenever they are there is outstanding and the communication at the end of the day when I come to pick them up is brilliant. I would highly recommend this nursery to anybody, the manageress and her staff do a brilliant job, to love and care for every single child and my boys have thrived there.

We absolutely love Shooting Stars. Our daughter has settled in beautifully, which is a real testament to all the staff who make her day so enjoyable. Key learning and observations are detailed and recorded via an app which makes it easy for us to keep track of her developmental progress. She loves going to nursery and Shooting Stars have made my transition back to work all the easier, knowing she's in great hands. Highly recommend.

Since our son started in the pre-school room he has been welcomed and well looked after despite a couple of changes of key worker due to unforeseen circumstances. The staff are very attentive and I am always impressed at the variety of activities he has experienced, even in a half-day session (forest school, phonics, writing, messy play, puzzles, circle time). The meals are very nutritious and the newly refurbished building layout is excellent, allowing plenty of space for the children to stretch their legs even when not outside in the garden. It's good that the children are also encouraged to get involved in regular themed days/activities and charity days e.g. Jeans for Genes Day, Children in Need, Annual Sports Day. Thank you to all at Shooting Stars for your hard work and dedication.

I enjoy the fact I can log in to the camera system whilst she is in nursery to see what she is up to and see her playing happily. She eats so well and really enjoys the home cooked food.
