There are three air-conditioned rooms designed for babies, toddlers and pre-school children. The building has natural light where possible and there is a special nurserycam to enable parents to be part of their child's learning day.

My daughter has attended Bright Little Stars Day Nursery since she was 10 months old and has thrived and settled in so well with the wonderful staff who are kind, loving and so much fun. My older son attended this nursery also from the age of 10 months to 3 years and when it was time to choose somewhere
for my daughter to go whilst I was at work there wasn't a doubt in my mind this was the place I would be sending her. The staff treat every child so special. They have so many activities and so many different theme days that every day is different and fun on its own accord. The food they offer is great and varied and at the end of each day at pick up, you not only get a diary of their day but the staff talk to you about how your child was during the day, what they have done, what they enjoyed. This place is very special to us and I could not recommend it more!

Our daughter has been going to Bright Little Stars since August 2019 and has really enjoyed every moment. The staff are really supportive and friendly.
They really helped us with potty training, continue to encourage her using Chinese language.
Our daughter has a lot of allergies and under the care
of the staff, we have always felt she is in a really safe environment as everyone knows what she can and can't have.
When we were expecting our second child, the team at nursery helped us with tips on how to talk to her about her new sibling and during nursery time, they spoke a lot to her about new baby coming and allowing her time to role play having a brother.
This really helped as she was so excited when he arrived.
We have already enrolled our little boy to attend the nursery as we have seen the support and development they have given to our daughter have.

Our son started at the nursery in November last year. Since, he has settled in perfectly. All the staff (from management to practitioners) have been incredibly accommodating and welcoming. They are approachable and have always been efficient with communication - verbally and via email also. As a parent,
I feel reassured when I am able to call the nursery to check in on him (particularly when he has been under the weather) and the staff have been more than happy to provide us with an update and listen to any concerns we may have.
Our son has special dietary requirements, so we were thrilled to hear that they were able to meet his needs as this was one less thing for us to worry about.
We enjoy getting updates of him engaging in several different activities via the app, as well as accessing the nursery camera to see what he is up to. We also appreciate the various parent workshops the nursery offers.
We continue to recommend the nursery to our friends and family!

My daughter is 4 years old now and soon to leave Bright Little Stars to attend primary school. I highly recommend the nursery for so many different reasons, my daughter not only gained great independence but she has also thrived participating in the many opportunities Bright Little Stars have given
her from learning Spanish, phonics, and sports to name a few. My daughter always loves going into nursery, the staff are always so friendly and welcoming, I really like the fact that all staff get to know the children by name and it feels very family orientated, you can tell it’s more than just a job to the staff, they genuinely care for the children. My second daughter is also at the nursery and I’m so glad she will follow in the same footsteps as my eldest daughter. Thank you Bright Little Stars Watford!

My son has been attending this nursery part time since May 2022 and I cannot fault the nursery and staff one bit! My son has been so happy attending the nursery and absolutely adores the staff there. The standard of care is beyond excellent! They monitor and are mindful of every little thing and staff
do not hesitate to contact the parent if they have any questions or concerns. They not only provide such an amazing service for the children but also provide evening workshops and training for the parents in first aid, potty training etc. It is THE BEST nursery and I cannot wait for my son to attend there full time.

Our daughter has attended Bright Little Stars, Watford for almost a year now (time has flown). During her time she has gained her confidence, learnt to walk, talk, eat just about everything and developed a good social peer group of nursery friends. She is happy when dropped off and sad to leave in the
afternoons, which is testament to the nursery staff and environment. The location is easy to get to and the staff really go out of their way to provide you with updates on their daily progress, via photos and app updates of their developmental progress versus the curriculum. We have recommended the nursery to many friends. During the pandemic, it was great to see extra steps taken to ensure child, staff and parent safety and this provided us with a level of comfort, that our child was in a safe and secure environment. Thank you to the Bright Little Stars team for their help so far and we look forward to the next few years of nursery.

My daughter started nursery in November and although she had a really hard start, the staff couldn’t be more helpful and understanding and always going the extra mile to make my little one feel welcomed and comfortable. My son has been in the setting since he was 9 months old, he is now 3 and thriving because of this place! He loves going so much that he gets upset on days that he doesn’t go in. He has always loved the extracurricular activities and the random themed days that they do. Dressing up for certain occasions
etc. We have both made so many friends there, parents, children and all the staff are so lovely. Some of the staff there have now been there for 5 years! I highly recommend it to all new parents looking for a nursery, being able to log into the camera helped me so much because I could see that he was fine throughout the day!

My son started Bright Little Stars at 9 months old and I can see he is thriving in their care. I love receiving photos of his day and seeing how going to nursery has made such a positive impact on his development. He happily goes into the nursery, putting his hands out to his carers. He eats and sleeps
well at nursery and I know he has truly settled in so well, with the help of this key person and other nursery staff. The nursery has excellent facilities and incredible resources. My son really enjoys the messy play activities as well as the special events such as sports days and dress-up days. He also loves his outdoor area where he is given the opportunity to climb safely on the equipment. The nursery has been amazing providing two types of food for him at meals, mushy for his nutrition (so he actually eats) and normal food to practise the next stage of weaning. The nursery staff are always welcoming, happy to help and reassuring, which is greatly appreciated as a first-time mum.

To describe Bright Little Stars Watford in 1 word = faultless! All the staff are absolutely incredible, they always go above and beyond to make sure my son's needs are met. He has been attending the nursery for 18 months now since he was 1 yrs old and he just loves it. He has developed in ways I couldn't

I have always been a parent who is quite strict on routine and diet for my children and Bright Little Stars have always made me feel completely at ease when it comes to this. I always feel like my child is getting the best care, and is treated like an individual rather than a number. Any worries or
concerns I have or new routines are well communicated throughout the team and I feel like as a result Nursery has become a home from home environment for my children which provides me with so much reassurance that they are completely happy.

My son has been at Bright Little Stars since he was 1. We have seen him progress and develop wonderfully over the last few years. The staff are helpful and understanding and he loves attending nursery. The extracurricular activities are brilliant and the food menu is very varied. He really enjoys the
outdoor play area and we feel very confident each morning knowing we are leaving him in a safe and caring environment. It’s also very comforting to know that we can log into the classroom camera and see our son happily getting on with his day.

Great nursery and very helpful staff, especially during the Covid period very supportive and they keep you well informed. Both of my children attend and they love it. The only fault is I wish they had more parking spaces.

I started sending my son to Bright Little Stars Watford when he just turned 10-months, and it was the best decision we made. So much so, that my second son will be joining at 10-months too.
He enjoys his time there, learns so much while having fun, and I’ve always felt at ease leaving him there.
All
the staff are exceptional, the facilities are great, and I especially love the variety of food on the menu for the children. The extra classes they have are fantastic too.
This year has been a tough one with Covid, but I’ve been very happy with the steps they have put in to be Covid secure and how they have helped the children adapt to such a strange time and helped the parents feel comfortable with sending their babies into nursery still.

The most distinguishing feature of Bright Little Stars Watford is the staff - each and every one puts 100% into everything that they do, and show their commitment through how well they look after the children.
The facilities are outstanding - from the great food menu that allows exploration of different
textures and flavours, to the activities that stimulate both mind and body. My son's development grows each day - he has learnt how to express himself, think of others and interact well with other children and adults.
He has genuinely formed strong bonds with many of the carers and looks forward to going to nursery each and every day.
From the day we dropped him off to his first settle session to a year later - the nursery has been a second home to him and I look forward to spending a few more years here!

Our daughter has been attending Bright Little Stars Watford since July, and it has been nothing short of a fantastic experience. The staff are so caring, and you get an answer nearly instantly if you email a query. They have been so supportive of accommodating additional sessions and are always pleasant
and personable. Our daughter adores her nursery, she settled in very quickly largely down to the nature of the staff and the effort they go to to make it an enjoyable and safe environment.
Two ladies have been particularly key to our child's easy settling and have no idea of the difference it makes as a mother leaving your little one with people who are so loving and on the ball as they are.
I truly believe that this nursery is the best in the area, and my daughters smiling face and testimonials over her bedtime bath about what a nice day she has had, support this belief. Her development has come along leaps and bounds.

Whilst searching for a nursery for my son in 2017, having looked at in excess of 7 nurseries, Bright Little Stars Watford was the only one that ticked all of my boxes!
The staff and management team are absolutely fantastic, the facilities are clean and the extracurricular activities really help to
stretch the children (my son came home some days telling me new Spanish words he had learnt that day!).
Standards have continued to remain a cut above the rest - my younger son has also started Bright Little Stars in 2020 and the staff truly nurture and develop him. I feel at ease and so confident leaving him in their care.
The nursery manager absolutely adores all of the children and this positive tone at the top is then reflected through an ever so caring nursery culture.
I would certainly recommend Bright Little Stars Watford as they have been my rock over the past 3 years, helping me to continue to work knowing that my children are in safe hands.

As a parent, who has had my eldest child at numerous nurseries, I can honestly say that Bright Little Stars Watford is the best I have seen. From the regular photo updates, newsletters, diary updates and learning bulletins, the curriculum, to the all-round care and diligence that is put in by the teachers,
catering staff and the management, I can definitely see it benefitted my eldest when she was in nursery and now my little one. My girl's confidence has gone leaps and bounds. The team are incredibly strong, and I would recommend it wholeheartedly.

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2016

Emily has been a part of the Watford team since it opened in March 2016, contributing towards the Ofsted 'Outstanding' grading in 2018. Emily has a Cache Level 3 qualification in children and young people’s workforce, using her knowledge and passion to develop her career and achieve several promotions starting as Senior Nursery Educator and progressing to her current role as Nursery Manager.


With over 12 years' experience in various childcare settings and 4 years in a managerial position, Emily prides herself on her role modelling skills; incorporating a child focused approach to support her team and keep morale high to provide a fun, warm and nurturing environment for all children to learn and grow.


Emily has strong motivation and dedication to succeed in all that she sets out to achieve, empowering and inspiring her team to achieve high standards of quality care for all children that attend Bright Little Stars.
