Bright Little Stars Mill Hill

We have had our twins, a boy and a girl in the nursery since they were 11 months old. They have enjoyed every moment of their time here and have made friends for life. I do think the nursery could benefit from more qualified teachers in the room but all the staff have been supportive and kind. I do recommend the nursery to others.

Bright Little Stars Mill Hill is a very good nursery with very good staff, facilities and quality of care. As my daughter has progressed through the different rooms we have been pleased with her development. In terms of development areas, we would have appreciated more guidance and insight with the school application process as this was our first child.

Our son started at Bright Little Stars at the age of 12 months and from then until now, we've been delighted with how he's been cared for and taught. He has blossomed into a curious, considerate and smart child and he's fully prepared for starting reception in two months. Huge thanks to all the staff for all their support and for looking after our baby so carefully.

Overall, I am very happy with Bright Little Stars. It has allowed my son to grow with confidence as well as academically. In a space of a few weeks, he learnt to write his name. In addition to supporting my son, they have supported me while I did my degree. They helped with childcare forms and extra sessions. I honestly love this nursery and I feel that this is a great place for them to learn, have fun and prepare them for school.

An excellent nursery in every way. The staff do an amazing job of caring for and teaching the children. We cannot recommend it highly enough.

I am a massive supporter of Bright Little Stars, having proudly sent all three of my children to the nursery since it first opened its doors in its flagship store. The level of care is second to none, a testament to the 'Good' rating by OFSTED. Every member of staff is passionate, loving, attentive and truly concerned about the happiness and comfort of every child. All three of my boys cherished their time at BLS and it will always be a part of their life story. Hugely recommended.

We are very happy with Bright Little Stars. Both of our children have been in the nursery since they were 9 months old. We have been delighted with the beautiful rooms, garden, stimulating learning environment and a myriad of activities planned daily. The staff are loving and nurturing and have adored our children. I have found the care and all the staff to be fantastic. My Daughter is happy and always looking forward to going to Nursery, she is learning and developing more every day whilst having fun. They spend a lot of time playing outside and have a large garden that allows the children plenty of room to exercise. The staff are always willing to take the time to talk to parents about the children's development.

My daughter first started with Bright Little Stars in October 2017. We are currently in the Milkyway room which has been our only experience. The staff are very accommodating and very friendly. The activities during the day are well planned and not too regimented. They have a variety of play styles they incorporate for all ages. I have to say I feel very settled within myself when leaving my child with the nursery. My daughter almost runs away when I pick her up and that in itself is a good sign that she is happy here. Her key worker is an absolute asset to the organisation. She has always met our expectations, she always takes her time to give feedback when we collect our little one. The key worker and the team always take on board feedback from us too and if we want to change anything to our child's routine, they try to ensure this is completed.

This really is a wonderful nursery in every respect and I couldn't recommend it more highly.

My son started at Bright Little Stars when he was 1 year and 10 months old, the care and love he received here was like from home to home. There was not a day when he did not want to come to nursery, some days it was hard to get him home. My son has progressed throughout the years of being here and being able to start reading by the age of 4 is amazing. The staff are friendly and welcoming and they know the children so well. He has really enjoyed all the extracurricular activities especially "wild fangs" where he has been able to touch a real life snake, gecko, and spider! The best thing of all is he has made some wonderful friends and he is happy. The staff are working really hard to prepare him and get him 'school ready' to start reception in September and we will miss the nursery so much - he already has asked me "can we still visit".

The staff in the office are very friendly but stick rigidly to their contract and the rules set by HQ which means they are more ‘corporate’ than other nurseries.

We have been very happy with her development and growth, especially over the past year where her numeracy and literacy skills have come on a great deal. We feel that she is well prepared for school and we will miss the nursery very much.
