Having viewed a number of other local nurseries, it was a breath of fresh air to find this one! The free flow system implemented, and the amount of outdoor space was much better than I had expected. My son’s ability to communicate has really come on leaps and bounds. The helpful staff have really made it much easier to relax, as I was quite apprehensive at first about not being with him. Overall, I am extremely impressed with the nursery and would definitely recommend to others.
My son has been coming to this nursery since September and really enjoys it here. There is lots to do and he likes being outdoors.
This nursery is amazing! The staff do everything they can for my little girl. I couldn't be happier with the nursery.

Meet the Team (1)
My name is Ellie, and I am the manager here at Middleton. I began my employment with The Old School House Day Nursery in March 2020.
My career began as a nursery apprentice in 2014, and my passion for childcare has continued. I have a wealth of experience and find the job very rewarding. I completed a team leading qualification, which has supported me in my role as part of the management team here since 2023. I also have two lovely children of my own!
My favourite part of the role is building relationships with the children and their families. It’s a wonderful feeling to know the children feel safe and loved in our care.
