Lovely friendly staff and warm environment. Thank you for all you do to take care of our daughter. She has moved rooms and grown with the nursery. We're very grateful for the safe supportive environment you give her.

Also, focusing on the process instead of the outcome would be great. For example, 'what are you doing here?' and 'is that fun?'; instead of 'well done' or 'good girl/boy'. I'd like my daughter to enjoy what she is doing and not do it simply for the outcome and because it will please others.

Excellent nursery, caring and friendly staff and great all-round experience. My daughter’s development has come on leaps and bounds in the time she has been in attendance (3 months) and comes home happy every day!

My only ask would be for a sugar-free cereal or porridge/muesli or yoghurt and fruit options to also be available alongside the current breakfast choices, please.

The facilities are clean and safe with additional risk assessments carried out.

There is an excellent team of staff. The content of the day involves engaging activities. There is good communication from the management on any day to day updates as well as planned activities/themes. Most importantly the children love it.

The staff in both my children's rooms are amazing. Each member of staff has such a brilliant relationship with my daughter in the baby room and I feel so confident with her in their care. The daily feedback received is insightful and a delight to hear. My son can be "shy" and "emotional" at times and his key worker and room leader have also provided such support and help with him. We would definitely highly recommend.

Extremely professional, kind, understanding and knowledgeable staff. My child is happy here and it’s clear she is learning and enjoying herself while her language skills and confidence have grown. I feel confident that my child is being really well looked after in this nurturing environment and being given plenty of opportunities.

The staff are all incredibly friendly and engaged. They are attentive and responsive to the children’s needs. They set up fun and interactive activities on a regular basis. The food provided is also fantastic.

It has been wonderful seeing you all for the last two months and thank you for taking such good care of all the children, especially my grandson!

We love the nursery, the staff are all so friendly and helpful and really care about the children’s welfare throughout the pandemic. One thing that could be improved during the pandemic would be some form of video of the children in their classroom as we can’t now go in. Just to see their environment.

Another area of improvement that I see would be the diet. Some meals have multiple carbohydrates (peas, rice and corn can be in one meal sometimes). Though overall really good.

Dicky Birds are amazing and my daughter is so happy there. The staff are very caring and have helped her to develop really well. They have handled the last year brilliantly, keeping us informed and making changes early.

My son has started attending Dicky Birds nursery when he was 2 years and 6 months and staff are very caring and do various indoor and outdoor educational activities. I was very happy to observe that my son has developed great confidence, excellent social skills and loves reading books and is started recognising numbers as well.

We've sent both of our children to Dicky Birds and think it's a great nursery. The staff are fabulous, the setting and care is top-notch, great activities and the kids are always happy to go. We've recommended it to friends in the area.

We have loved Dicky Birds- my son will have been there for 2 years by the time he goes to school this September '21 and it's just been a joy!

A lovely friendly atmosphere, with helpful staff. Our child loves attending the nursery, making friends and undertaking numerous daily activities. The menu is very healthy. We especially like the feedback form that we receive every day to better understand what our son has been doing each day.

Highly recommended and we will be sad when our little boy has to leave!

Our child has attended Dicky Birds for 2 years and has thrived in their care. The staff are friendly and caring, even more so over the last 12 months of the pandemic where we have been lucky enough for our child to feel safe every day at nursery. There is a great balance of fun and structured time, where games incorporate reading and writing from a young age. I would highly recommend Dicky Birds to anyone who is considering it.
