Partou Woodlands Park Day Nursery & Forest school provides exceptional care and education for babies and children up to the age of five. The nursery and pre-school is set in a Victorian mansion with two acres of stunning grounds and a magical woodland garden.

As an official Forest School, Woodlands Park is a place where children enjoy stimulating learning activities in a wonderful natural environment. The children play in the nursery’s adventure gardens every day; building dens, growing vegetables and learning in a fabulous outdoor classroom.

A friendly team of highly qualified staff at the nursery prepare children socially, emotionally and academically for school. These experienced childcare practitioners provide education following Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) guidelines in a fun, nurturing environment.

Woodlands Park’s beautiful stone Victorian mansion has been refurbished to provide a homely environment filled with natural light and soft furnishings. Exciting playrooms and resources provide children with an inspirational learning environment that has been designed to feel just like a home from home.

Staff at the nursery have paediatric first aid and safeguarding training and all have undergone enhanced DBS checks. For added safety the nursery has CCTV, secure door entry systems and off-road parking.

30 Hours Free Childcare places are available and fees include nappies, milk, wipes, sun cream and the nursery’s healthy homemade meals, which are freshly prepared onsite each day.

My children began attending during the Covid-19 pandemic. Despite this, the staff were extremely supportive in helping my children get settled in and the care they have provided has been excellent. Both children have thrived since attending and they also love going to nursery on their days. Can’t fault
the service or staff, I love getting the updates on the app and the food provided is great and healthy.

Woodlands Park Day Nursery is an excellent nursery. My daughter has been attending since a year old. She has thrived in her confidence and intelligence ad has made so many lovely friends. She enjoys all the activities and the lovely options of food. I would highly recommend this nursery.

My son started nursery in Nov and it has taken time for him to adjust and settle in. His key worker and the staff in the baby room have been great. They really put you at ease and make it clear it's okay to check up on your child promoting reassurance. I am very happy to leave my son in their care.
I love the videos and updates I get in the Learning Book app. This is a great additional service. So far, I have been impressed by the overall care provided. Thank you!

Woodlands Park have been fantastic since the very start. After a drop-in viewing, they were really friendly and knowledgeable and have been fantastic settling our kids in. My child loves nursery and clearly has fun every day. The staff in toddler 2 are superb and consistently work had to enable and encourage his development. I regularly see that they are changing and adapting the provision to support the children.

My daughter has become increasingly confident since settling into toddler 2, and has even given up nappies and her dummy. She's very sociable and knows her entire alphabet, thanks to the support and learning from the staff in toddler 2. Highly recommend this nursery to anyone.
