The Old Station Nursery Oxford

I like this nursery, the management and staff are very responsive and I am happy with my son's key carer. I am pleased with their attitude and I will bring my youngest one in a year's time as well. Thank you for taking care of our children!

My children love The Old Station Nursery. They both attended since they were 12-months-old. My daughter is in school now but still misses nursery. My son enjoys his time in the toddler group very much. The staff are lovely and look after the children very well. There are fun activities all the time.

My daughter has been at the Oxford nursery since she was 10-months-old (now 3-years). She has loved her time in each of the 3 rooms, and once settled, has formed strong bonds with her key person and other staff in each, and she looks forward to seeing them. The nursery administration was particularly great through the most difficult periods of the pandemic, keeping us updated regularly, even when closed. My daughter enjoys her time at the nursery, and comes home happy and tired out, ready to tell me about space week/Easter crafts etc or to sing me a new song she's learnt.

Our child has been attending The Old Station Nursery 3 days a week in the toddler room since the end of January this year, and he loves it! We are very happy with the nursery, and I drop off my son knowing that he will be well looked after.

Excellent nursery with great facilities, amazing management and the staff are great, always with positive energy. I would highly recommend this nursery.

This is a brilliant nursery. Staff are so friendly and committed to giving children the best possible care and start in life. They are always smiling and positive, and my children look forward to going every day.

As a full time working mum, it’s so reassuring to know my son is in a setting he adores, as well as a setting that provides excellent opportunities for growth and development.

My daughter is always happy coming from the nursery. She absolutely loves it. I think it's one of the best nurseries around and people must know about it. Strongly referred to anyone that is looking for an excellent nursery.

They provide lunch, which is something a lot of nurseries for under-fives do not provide. They require parents to send packed lunches. It helps working parents when kids are given hot healthy meals and snacks.

The Old Station Nursery has been consistently supporting and nurturing, COVID or no COVID. The staff are responsive to parents and maintain a happy place for my child to want to attend every morning. Individual needs of the child are taken into consideration and applied for example, food and sleep patterns. Communication is key and positive emails and helpful advice are constant. We love the weekly updates of photos regarding educational challenges and milestones. Help with organisation of payments has been superb. I really cannot fault The Old Station Nursery for their approach and ethos; it’s relaxed and professional, kind and efficient.

They have been so supportive during the pandemic.

We have had two children come to The Old Station Nursery past and present, and they have both loved it. Both of our children have fitted in so well to the warm, friendly and caring environment that the team provide every day and always come home saying they’ve had the best day. All the staff there have been so welcoming and do such a fantastic job. I couldn’t be happier with the service we have received and really appreciate all the hard work that goes into making everyday fun and full of great learning experiences.

My son spent three months in the baby room and was very well looked after by the team, especially the team leader, who treated my son extremely well and he looked forward to going to the nursery every day and didn’t give me a second look on his way in every morning! My son then moved to the toddler room where he is having an equally lovely time doing arts and crafts and enjoying all the activities that the team provide.

The activities and learning they thoughtfully put into everyday nursery life, my child comes home telling me all the things she has learnt and explored!

Excellent nursery! The carers are lovely, approachable, professional, and genuinely care about our child’s well being and development. They regularly send us photos and give detailed daily updates. Our child bonded very well with them.

This is an amazing nursery. My daughter has settled in so well that she can't wait to go every day. She has bonded with her key person, and I can see how her social skills have been developing. The children are involved in a variety of activities, including math, art and exercise. It is a relief to see your child being happy in an environment outside your home.

When I pick him up, sometimes he is enjoying a cuddle with one of the team, which is always nice to see and it seems he would be quite happy to stay there longer. Thanks again for all the great care you give my son.

I just wanted to write to say thank you. My daughter has been attending nursery since January 2020. She is settled and happy and that's because of the wonderful caring staff, providing a safe and nurturing environment in the nursery. I've found that all staff are warm and friendly and encourage the children. My daughter has made lots of friends and enjoys seeing the staff and talking to them. I feel able to go to work knowing that she is safe, happy, and well cared for. Every problem they or we have had or concern, they have always been addressed in a professional manner. Overall, very happy with the nursery and their standards and each and every member of staff.

The manager and her team demonstrate an extraordinary commitment to the wellbeing of the children in their care. Even during the recent, more challenging, conditions, the staff have remained professional and motivated and it is a real joy to collect my child, knowing that he has been cared for so wonderfully.

A very supportive nursery, I would recommend it to anyone.
