The Old Station Nursery Oxford

Highly recommend OSN Oxford to any parent.

My baby has settled in very nicely and has been looked after by the team of great ladies. They made sure she was safe and well. I specifically was worried about the nap times as she is very fussy who she falls asleep with, but with love and affection, they made it look so easy. Thank you. I would strongly recommend the nursery.

The nursery and staff I cannot fault. My son who is 3 has been attending this nursery since he was 4 months old and the service received has been excellent. The constant price rises are why I had to find an alternative nursery.

Since my son started here he has really thrived in all aspects and his key person is amazing and the other days are great too and really meet his needs. My son also comes home happy after his nursery session.

I’ve always been really happy with my daughter’s care at nursery. She has so much fun and the team really treats her as an individual understanding each child is (undoubtedly) different! We have been really grateful for the increase in photos provided as this was very minimal when she first joined. The team always go the extra mile with activities which is also really appreciated. My daughter just recently started nursery. She’s so much more confident around new people and independent at home after only a few sessions. The staff are all lovely and would definitely recommend to anyone thinking about joining!

This has been a wonderful nursery for our son. The staff are great with the children and make an effort to meet their needs. The transition between rooms as our son got older was handled brilliantly, and the feedback at the end of the day is detailed and personal. It really feels like they have the child's best interest in mind. My son speaks so happily about his interactions with the adults, as well as the children and activities they do at the nursery. The manager also really knows the children and families, creating a pleasant atmosphere!

The staff and management are so supportive and professional. They are always so accommodating too. My second child is now there and both children love it. The premises are lovely too with a great outdoor space.

My toddler loves the nursery! He's always very happy to be dropped off, eats well and sleeps well there. They have been very supportive when we decided to start potty training at 18 months. I know some other nurseries that wouldn't help with it or not until they're over 2.

My daughter started at the age of four months and the level of care was incredible. I was nervous about leaving her so young, but she flourished in the baby room and it felt like everyone on staff knew her name! The weaning journey as she approached one year was also excellent with high levels of support given to what we were also doing at home with food, and baby turned from a rather cautious eater to a big and varied appetite (thanks also to the wonderful catering lead). Update on her day is always personal, knowledgeable and invested and we also get regular updates through the app with clear indicators of her progress and what she's doing. Old Station Nursery feels incredibly caring and friendly and I'm delighted that my daughter has a place in this setting.

My son is happy to go to daycare and I believe this is a good indicator of how much he enjoys his time there. We get regular updates on his progress and developmental activities etc. and he is so attached to his carer.

Each member of staff are friendly and make me feel at ease. I drop my son with no worries what so ever. All I can say is thank you for changing my perspective on nursery’s!

Daughter loves going to nursery, she can’t run in quick enough! They really do a wonderful job, lots of entertainment, engagement, arts, craft and encouragement to try thing and be involved, we are very happy she is happy!

All requests from parents seem to be accommodated promptly and general communication is very good.

Our son has always enjoyed attending The Old Station Nursery; he comes back talking about all the things he has done. The manager and her team are super helpful, and we really appreciate the care they take with our son.

My child is very happy at Old Station Nursery. His key person knows him well and they have a strong bond. We talk about his development and areas on which I would like the staff to focus on. The staff responded with competence and care to a medical emergency my child was in recently and I am very grateful for that.

The Old Station Nursery based at Oxford Science Park is absolutely amazing. My son is in the preschool setting and his key worker is so thorough with handovers and updating photos of what he’s been up to every week. Communication is great when needing to contact the settings for changes etc. Everyone is so friendly, polite and really welcoming. As my son has progressed through nursery his old keyworkers have kept in touch and are still in contact with him which is lovely. My son absolutely loves coming here! Couldn’t recommend it anymore! Massive Thumbs up!
