Ashbourne Day Nurseries at Wing

My daughter started nursery here in January. The team were fantastic with getting her to settle in and within a few weeks, she is like a different child! She is smiling and happy when she gets to nursery, her development has come on in leaps and bounds and as a parent, I couldn’t be happier knowing my daughter is happy, healthy and well looked after.

My son started nursery 8 months later than anticipated, due to this I was naturally nervous due to his huge attachment to me and not wanting to be left. Although it's been emotional leaving him the staff at Wing have been amazing. One member of staff, in particular, has made me feel confident and happy in our decision to send him to nursery. He comes home in such a brilliant mood enthusiastically babbling when I ask about his day. Ashbourne tell me in great detail what he's been up to, how he is and what he's eaten. The meals are always healthy and nutritious. This is particularly important to us as we like him to eat well. Ashbourne have well-thought-out activities that engage and grow little minds, this again is important to us as we didn't want him to have repetitive days. All in all very happy with our choice of nursery.

I am very happy we decided to send my son to this nursery. My son loves going there, the staff are a lovely team of ladies. My son became very poorly whilst at nursery, the staff could not have done more to help him and also supported me when I came to collect him. They always go out of their way to help and support and always with a smile, I would highly recommend this nursery. I will be sad when my son leaves there.

The staff are all lovely, attentive and welcoming and easy to get hold of if needed. My daughter can be shy in new situations but took no time to settle in. I always feel reassured and my daughter adores going to nursery.

I have been using Ashbourne Day Nurseries for years for 3 of my children. The staff are always so friendly and fun, the kids have always loved them even as staff change over time the atmosphere remains the same. Wouldn’t send my kids anywhere else!

All staff have been lovely to us and our little boy. They have worked very hard to continue working in these uncertain times, which can not be easy in any job role on the front line the last year. All staff deserve great praise and recognition for their dedication to their jobs and the children they are helping develop and learn the most important skills in life, speech, reading, social skills, boundaries and many more.

I like the management and organisation at this nursery. They respond quickly and are very helpful in answering questions changing days etc. My daughter always seems like she's had a nice day, coming out smiling. I like the variety of food and activities. The only one thing for us is that we would love to do a half-day based around the school hours which doesn't work but that is true of all nurseries I think. Overall happy parents!

My daughter enjoyed her time at nursery despite lockdown she adjusted really well on returning. Everyone is quite helpful, dedicated and encouraging. Very grateful to all the staff at Wing for the care and attention given to my daughter.

My son has been attending Ashbourne for almost two years and loves his days at nursery. He just about manages to wave goodbye as he runs in to get his breakfast and see his friends! It’s a huge weight off your mind when you can go to work and know that your child is happy and being well looked after. The staff always give a warm welcome and at pick up, always provide a thorough handover of what has happened during the day. There are a wide range of activities to keep the children engaged and assist with their development. The children are encouraged to be independent (age-appropriate) for example pouring their own drinking water and clearing away their plates etc. which is great for their self-esteem. Choosing to send my son to Ashbourne is genuinely one of the best decisions I’ve ever made and I can’t thank them enough for everything they do.

The girls work so hard to care for all of the children at Ashbourne Day Nurseries at Wing. They set out lovely activities and learning for the children every day and have good relationships with parents/carers. I would definitely recommend it to anyone needing child care. My son used to go here from 10 months right up until 4 1/2 and my daughter started at 7 months old and still there now, they absolutely love it. They have grown up so much and made lots of friends along the way.

My daughter is 3 at the end of the month and absolutely loves attending Ashbourne Day Nurseries at Wing. She started at the nursery when she was 1 and the manager and staff in the baby room really took the time to settle her in well because she was an incredibly clingy baby. This is my third child to attend the nursery and it’s been fab for all of them. The staff are fantastic and during this lockdown, they are helping keep a sense of normality for the little ones. I really recommend the nursery.

My little girl has been attending the nursery for over a year now. I can not fault any of her care. The ladies are a joy to deal with and I just know she’s in safe hands. Her learning and development has come along very quickly, she surprises us at home when she just comes out with a new word. Definitely recommend. Thank you, ladies!

My son has been attending the nursery since he was 9 months old and he is nearly 4. At every stage of his development, the staff at Ashbourne at Wing have been supportive and help develop his wonderful curiosity in the world around him. Particularly during this difficult year with covid, the staff have continued to demonstrate their care and compassion for the children in their care, providing a lovely safe environment to give my son the stability he needs. Thank you to all who make this place so wonderful!

My daughter started at Ashbourne Nursery, Wing when she was 15 months old and having been in lockdown, I was really worried about how she would cope with being left. I shouldn’t have worried. The team looking after her were brilliant at getting her settled in quickly and she walks in without looking back. Her confidence and abilities have flourished and I can see that she benefits massively from her time there. She loves all the different crafts they do and is frequently coming home with artwork she has made. The team are all friendly and you can tell they adore the children they look after. I would highly recommend Wing nursery.

The preschool is amazing at communicating with parents (both via e-mail/phone as in person), I always feel reassured that all my questions are answered, concerns heard and acted upon. I couldn't recommend it enough.

Both of our children absolutely love going to Ashbourne Day Nursery in Wing. They enjoy all of the activities on offer and of course the food! We have been so happy with care and love that they show to our children.

This is a lovely little nursery. Our little one has attended here since she was 10 months old and absolutely loves going here. The staff are all brilliant and when I drop her off I feel completely at ease for the rest of the day that she is safe and extremely happy. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

I would highly recommend Ashbourne Day Nurseries in Wing. The staff are absolutely fantastic. They are not only incredibly knowledgeable of child development, they are also very supportive with how to extend that learning at home. My daughter is very well cared for and incredibly happy there.

The staff at Wing are amazing. My daughter who has always been very clingy, not wanted to be apart from us; runs into nursery smiling often too excited to even look back. At home time the opposite happens and she has to be encouraged to leave. Nothing is ever a problem and they all go above and beyond to ensure both parents and child are happy. The manager is amazing at sorting any queries out and is so prompt with her replies. The toddler room leader was fantastic at supporting us when my daughter didn’t want to eat. They kept a detailed food log of everything she ate throughout the day, giving us the evidence we required to seek medical advice. As a parent, I could ask for anything more from the team at Wing. My daughter loves going to nursery and learning, she often tries to copy activities they have done in nursery at home. I think this is a massive compliment as children will only do what they enjoy.
