The nursery is a great provision for my 1 year old daughter. She absolutely loves it and instantly connected with her key worker and support staff. This is due to their friendly and caring demeanour.
The staff and management are supportive and engaging; which helped settled my daughter in the nursery.
I look forward to seeing her gain skills and socially developing as the years go on!
I would definitely recommend this nursery. Keep up the good work and thank you for providing such a positive experience for my child.

The first time I was scared to leave my child under anyone’s care and return to work but YMCA @ Greets Green puts my mind to rest. Everyone is so warm, helpful, welcoming and very friendly. It’s been nearly 2 years since my child started the nursery and I've seen lots of improvement. Thank you and keep
it up.

Home from home setting. My little one has been at the setting for 2 years and she has thrived from being there. The staff are so warm and welcoming and put my mind at ease. My little one is always excited to go to the nursery and enjoys the nature garden and sensory room they have the best.

The nursery setting is extremely friendly, nothing is too much trouble. The care that my child receives is second to none and I have no worries leaving him daily. Carers reports are informal.

Our daughter has just joined the nursery but has received a very friendly welcome and have established a very good rapport already with our girls. I like the outdoor space attached to each room. I like that all the food is cooked from fresh. I like that the sweets are healthy with plenty of fruits and
veg. Staff are flexible as well.

My daughter has been attending for around 1 year and 6 months now. Her language skills have significantly developed and being an only child her social skills have improved. The nursery manager is very friendly and has an open door policy. The new set up in terms of slippers only gives the nursery a
homely feel.

My daughter has been attending since March 2017 and she has come along amazingly. She was very shy but is now much more confident and her vocabulary improved so much within the first few months. The staff are warm and caring and I always know my daughter is well looked after. I would recommend the nursery
to anyone in the local area.

Honestly cannot rate all the girls highly enough. Especially the two that always take the time to chat to me when I drop off/pick up my son. He's only been here since September and have made us all feel so welcome. He has come on so so well with his speech and toilet training. Which was a worry for
us! They have all always reassured us and we can't wait to bring our youngest boy here when he's a little older. Thank you so much for everything you do girls.

My son started attending YMCA nursery from October 2018, both my husband and myself are very happy with my son's progress. He is surrounded with such friendly staff who always give good feedback at the end of the days that he attends. The staff have always listened to myself and done what I have asked
them to do concerning my son. I highly recommend this nursery.

I have had 3 grandchildren go to the YMCA Nursery and I would recommend this nursery 100%. Every teacher always helpful, polite. Always got smiles on their faces. Very child-friendly. Any problems there is always someone to help you. My grandchildren loved it there and the teachers still remember the
2 oldest children.

My little boy has been attending this nursery for nearly 2 years now, he started off 2 afternoons a week, now he goes in every afternoon. He really enjoys coming to nursery and he likes all the staff. All the staff including management are so polite and pleasant, as soon as you walk in you get a warm
welcoming feeling and still now 2 years on. Even I look forward to taking my little boy in to have a little chat to the staff about his development as I don’t get to fetch him. Staff are so kind and I know my little boy is in safe hands at this nursery! The nursery is also very safe and secure with a no shoe policy! Thank you to all staff for what you have done for my little boy over the last 20 months!

My daughter started this nursery in July 2018, from the first time I spoke with management she was very friendly and helpful. The manager was very accommodating informing me that I could drop in at any time that was convenient to me.
When I attended the nursery I liked that there is no shoes policy
in any of the rooms, there is a warm and welcoming feeling within the nursery, the staff are very friendly and management is so approachable.
My daughter (3 years old) looks forward to going into nursery something which I thought would never happen, on days when she is not in, she would ask to go into nursery, she did not do this in her previous nursery, this makes me feel happy.
I know my daughter feels happy, safe and settled here.
I would recommend this nursery, I currently have no concerns about this nursery. They provide for and meet all of my daughter's educational needs and her learning developments. Not only that, the nursery provides on-the-go breakfast snacks, bars and cakes for parents.

Very happy with the whole set up. My daughter started last summer and for the first two weeks she was nervous and wanted me and my partner to stay. But after the first two weeks, she wakes up every morning asking if she has nursery. She has settled really well and enjoys every day. I am happy with the
support provided by the staff.

My grandson started Daycare Greets Green nursery early in the year. Since being at the nursery he has made lots of friends and enjoys attending nursery. All the staff have been amazing, the care and affection that my son was shown while there goes a long way. The manager has helped our family in the
middle of the year when we needed her most, with a personal family reason. The staff will be missed as my son leaves today to start a new school in January.

Current Review Score: 8.7 (8.687)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 8.7 (8.687) out of 10 for YMCA @ Greets Green is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 5.0 out of 5 from 4 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 3.7 out of 5 from 4 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.979 for YMCA @ Greets Green is calculated as follows: ( (47 Excellents x 5) + (1 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 48 Ratings = 4.979
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 3.708 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for YMCA @ Greets Green is based on 4 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 10 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, and then 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews and then 0.1 Points for the next five Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.100, 7th = 0.100, 8th = 0.100, 9th = 0.100, 10th = 0.100) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 = 3.375
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 60 number of registered child places is 12. 4 Positive Reviews ÷ 12 = 0.333
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
