Banana Moon Day Nursery, Ashmore, provides a safe and caring environment for children aged from three months to five-years-old and is open 7.30-6.30pm 51 weeks of the year.

Banana Moon is able to offer sessions from a half day 7.30-1pm or 1-6.30pm to five days a week 7.30-6.30pm.

CCTV is installed in all rooms and operates a biometric fingerprint entry system, ensuring the safety of the children and staff.

Banana Moon offers two outdoor secure areas, one for children under two and another for those over two, ensuring all children have plenty of outside space to run around and have fun.

A range of age-appropriate rooms provide the ideal environment for inquisitive young minds, helping them to learn through exploration and discovery. Every child has the opportunity to develop their skills and at a pace that is suitable to them.

The nursery offers an in-house kitchen where nutritionally-balanced meals and snacks are freshly prepared each day. Special dietary requirements and allergies are catered for where possible.

Great nursery - supported me and my daughter through potty training and always lovely staff. My daughter has made lots of good friends and enjoys the staff. No complaints. My daughter has increased in her learning and in behaviour there has been a positive impact. My daughter never really liked trying
new foods, since starting nursery and increasing her hours she enjoys the dinners and is more open to trying new things at home. Thank you!

Great, friendly, caring staff. I feel at comfort knowing my child is safe within the care of Banana Moon Nursery. Healthy food options and always willing to help. My child is very happy here. I love how they interact and let me know what she has been doing every day.

My Son has been going to Banana Moon for over a year and he absolutely loves it! The staff are amazing, kind, helpful and caring in so many ways. I can’t put into words the experience we have had and the support to our son and ourselves as his parents. They always have activities for the children to
do and events and like to include the parents. They have helped my son come out of his shell and given him so much confidence. I couldn’t thank them all enough it’s such an amazing group of people who love what they do!

The staff at the nursery are excellent with feedback and also give detailed descriptions of what my son has done at nursery alongside the app, which is great. My son will soon be leaving this nursery, but I will be confident for him to go to school as he has excelled while being with this nursery. He
loves his time playing outside and when they’re learning on the big tv. Parent’s evenings are always great for us, they’re never rushed and staff always go above and beyond to make sure the children are doing well. My son is always happy at pick-up time and likes to tell me how great the food is.

My son struggled to settle in when he first attended back in September, but the girls made him so welcome and comforted him when needed. He now walks in without even a goodbye most days. Always comes home happy and speaks about his day. He has progressed in his speech since being at Banana Moon.
He
loves going three days a week and is very well-fed.
The staff are lovely and always available for a chat with any concern.

We started our daughter in Banana Moon in May last year. With her being born during Covid, she experienced very little interaction with children or adults! Since then, she has come on in leaps and bounds. She often speaks about her key workers at home and is excited every morning of her scheduled days.
A diary update is provided within 10 minutes of pick up, detailed with what food had been eaten, when her nappy has been changed and activities throughout the day. Sending her here was the best choice we’ve ever made for her so far! Lovely staff, a real pleasure.

We have nothing but good things to say as a family about this nursery. From the moment I placed my son in, they have been supportive at every moment. You can easily and openly communicate and all the staff are fantastic. Our son has built great relationships with them/the key workers, which we feel
makes the experience of him going so much more enjoyable and beneficial and for his development too. We would always recommend this nursery. Our little girl, when the time is right, will be attending too; we couldn’t imagine ever going anywhere else after the post I’ve experienced here.

It is a wonderful nursery with very experienced staff who work very hard with our kids. My child loves to attend it and every day I take him from the nursery happy and with a big smile on his face. I love that image. I would highly recommend it to every parent.

My daughter enjoys the different activities that the staff provide, especially the theme days. Staff take an interest in what the children do outside of nursery and my daughter looks forward to talking to staff about what she’s been up to. They have recently been learning Makaton and some basic foreign
language and my daughter has been able to come home and teach it to the family! Very impressed.

We want to thank you, the best team at Banana Moon Day Nursery Ashmore for looking after our daugther , especially the staff, who are amazing and always very welcoming ladies! They all have been so lovely, friendly and very patient with her and they have supported us a lot too. We are deeply grateful
to you for everything you have done! We can firmly say that she spends quality time being in the preschool room developing new skills. This is the first place where we have seen our daugther happy and also she has been in safe hands!

The nursery is first class. Staff are friendly, approachable, and professional. I've always felt that my children are in a safe nourishing environment with staff who care and make the effort. Both my children have had the best care and educational start to their lives. Would recommend it to anyone.

Our daughter is just finishing her time at Banana Moon Day Nursery as she moves to start school. She has attended this nursery from baby room and previous to this her older sister, now 7, attended the nursery also. We have always found the staff to be so friendly and accommodating, nothing is too much
trouble. It is always hard leaving your child somewhere new for the first time and trusting ‘a stranger’ with your most treasured possession, but after meeting the team, we never had any doubts this was the nursery for our girls. The app keeps you up to date with daily activities, meals and photos and the face-to-face end-of-day feedback is lovely to hear how busy the children (and staff) have been. The activities are carefully planned to the interests of the children, clearly lots of time is spent thinking about the children’s experiences and learning. Thank you Banana Moon for helping our girls on their journey - we will miss you all so much!

The staff are always friendly and approachable and clearly enjoy their job. My son is in babymoons, and I've noticed a clear improvement with his self-sufficient skills (feeding himself, eg) and he seems more keen to explore new surroundings. It's good that no parents can enter the building (Covid guidelines),
and I think this should stay this wast for safety. The app is a really good idea to keep up with news and child's day. I have used Banana Moon for my second child as my elder child enjoyed it so much.

My son is in the baby room and he loves it. Staff listen to my needs as a mother and my sons. I call regularly and they always adjust things on my request big or small. The cook is amazing she listened to requests and implemented literally the next day. To a point, I asked for some of her recipes
as my son eats really well there. He's always clean, happy, well-fed, photos daily on the nursery app, fun activities. No request from me is too much. Not 1 negative and I'm a fussy mummy!!

Over the last twelve months, Banana Moon has faced some tough challenges and has overcome them with the support of the parents. They put the children first and ensure parents are well informed and communicated through every possible channel by the app, email or telephone, nothing is to much of a hassle.
My young daughter thoroughly enjoys attending nursery to see her friends, which of course are the staff too. Her smile is wide and is very happy. My daughter's speech and development is coming on leaps and bounds and loves to learn at such a young age. Thank you Banana Moon for encouraging the children to love to learn, all in preparation for nursery or reception.

Our son has attended this nursery since he was 10 months old, and he's soon to be 3. He has excelled so much being here and he loves coming in to see the girls. He tells us every day about the activities he's done. We can't thank you enough, and will definitely be sending baby number 2.

My son is 10 months old, going back to work can be a terrifying thought! Although every staff member that I have talked to (including the nursery chef) or had worked with my son has been so understanding and supportive, they are a really lovely team! In the time he has been there (three weeks) he has
gained so much confidence and has started to crawl, he is also more aware of his surroundings! It has been so nice that he can be around other children and adults! I love the app, we receive pictures and an overview of everything he has done that day and honestly, it truly is the best part of our day! They are great! He comes home and you can tell he has had a busy day because even though he has napped he is so tired! Great varied menu too, he has been trying lots of different foods, some for the first time! Choosing Banana Moon Ashmore was the best decision we made and we stand confidently behind it!
