Hurly Burly Day Nursery

My boys love coming to Hurly Burly, the staff are friendly and supportive, and the interaction between staff and parents is superb.

The setting is well thought out with lots of opportunities for both indoor and outdoor activities. My boys particularly love the nature garden and mud kitchen!

The staff are always thinking of creative ways to follow the EYFS and encourage learning.

Extremely satisfied with the care and attention both of my children receive at Hurly Burly. Everything from the opening hours, the facilities at the setting, to the value for money and the food they serve suits our needs as a family.

The team of nursery nurses are all lovely, they are approachable, knowledgeable and supportive to the children and the family as a whole.

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Hurly Burly Petroc site to anyone looking for childcare.

Absolutly fabulous nursery who can never do enough. Providing detailed updates on how your child is developing each day. Really caring staff, couldn’t recommend them enough.

Our daughter is 12 months old and has been going to Hurly Burly since she was 9 months old. She loves going and is happy to go in every morning which has made returning to work much easier. The staff are amazing and the care and activities are great. Tapestry is updated daily so we can see what she has been learning and it gives us peace of mind. Thank you, Hurly Burly!!

The nursery provides care from 8am to 6pm for a great price, which includes all meals/snacks, all made on site. You just provide nappies. They accept all sorts of payment types such as salary sacrifice schemes etc. I cannot thank all the staff enough for everything they do for my son.

Best nursery in town (we went everywhere to see facilities) and the best staff are always there. My child loves going there which is the best review (in a different nursery she was always crying).

Fantastic setting. My little boy was so excited to attend and learn every day. Fantastic communication and they always followed my lead which to me was crucial.

My daughter started when she was seven months old and we have always been really happy with the quality of care provided by the staff and the excellent setting of the nursery.

Each day is well structured, varied and includes a lot of outdoor activities in the large outdoor garden areas all year round. The nursery provides a good balance of both fun and educational activities and our daughter always enjoys her days at nursery and is happy at drop off/collection. The food provided is good quality, varied and plentiful throughout the day.

Biggest praise though has to go to the staff. They offer a superb level of care and engage and communicate well with parents. If and when issues do arrive they work closely to resolve them and are supportive in following routines created at home. The parents evening sessions are also a great way to discuss your child's development and look at next stages. The transition between rooms/ages groups is also well handled.
