Little Adventurers Nursery is a home from home. We love that it is so family orientated. Our little boy absolutely loves going to nursery and as a parent, this is so reassuring.
I honestly believe it's because the manager and her staff make it such a warm, friendly, fun and caring place.
It's great that the nursery organises family days out, this has meant that we have been able to meet our little boys friends and parents.
Because of this, we have formed good friendships within the nursery.

We would 100% recommend the nursery to other parents.

Little Adventurers has created a fantastic environment for my children to learn and grow. I never worry about leaving my children as I know they will have so much fun and great care. The staff are an asset to Little Adventurers and both my girls love to go to nursery and I have great pleasure when they run off to their carers or friends without looking back. It makes me feel most at ease. All staff work tirelessly to help the children and create a fun learning environment.

A great setting with lovely garden and facilities.
Adventurers has a family feel when you walk through the door.
Everyone there knows your child, not just those who look after them.
There is always laughter and stories of great fun and adventure at the end of each day: Cooking, park trips, making things, hatching chicks, seeing butterflies grow and so much more.

Not your usual nursery, something unique and special, a childhood they cherish with fond memories we will take away.

Little Adventurers is simply wonderful.
It is such a homely surround with the most fantastic, supportive and nurturing staff.
Both my 1 and 4-year-olds are so settled and happy here and can't wait to get there in the morning.

The daily emails and newsletter are a fantastic bonus too.

My son has been attending for 2 years and it is a magical place. Children are cherished by all the staff, who are kind, patient, fully engaged, knowledgeable and full of energy. My son knows he is safe and his boundaries are very clear. I moved him from another setting and Little Adventurers is far superior. The facilities are fantastic, the rooms are well equipped as is the large garden. The manager is akin to the pied piper, children follow her around and hang on her every word as if transfixed by her loveliness. The menu is brilliant, my son eats far better than me! The children enjoy trips to the park, the duck pond and the shops. They have been visited by lots of interesting professionals from the police to nurses. They have also learnt about science and nature first hand, looking after hatching eggs and tadpoles. Music sessions and football lessons are also included. I live a 5 min walk from another nursery but chose to drive over 2 miles and pay station parking in order for my son to attend.

We joined Little Adventurers (I say 'joined', as you do feel part of an extended nursery family) when it opened because it was close to home/a good location - wow, did we luck out! The place is great. The staff are wonderful - kind, caring, patient and attentive - and clearly the manager has magical powers as the children all seem to adore her. My eldest still loves to drop by even now that she is at school and my soon-to-be-three year old is happy to go in each day (in fact, she's often put out that the nursery is not open on the weekend). I especially like that not only are the children taken out regularly to places such as to the playground, local shops, on the bus, but that outside music, dance, sports, animal activities are brought into the nursery to keep them entertained too. The community days out are also such a great idea to get to know other parents and children. I couldn't recommend Little Adventurers enough!

My son bangs on the door to his room to be let in every morning with a huge smile on his face. I feel happy knowing that he is in a safe and homely environment with people who genuinely care for him and I feel relaxed leaving him knowing he is happy and having fun. The staff are amazing - their enthusiasm and energy are at the heart of this nursery and set it apart from others. They also arrange family days out, hold regular forums and really make the effort to get to know the parents and to make them feel part of the nursery. I love the email I receive at the end of the day with a report of what he has been up to and full of photos which often make me laugh out loud on the train. My older son attended the nursery from when it opened until September when he left for school – his teacher has commented on how impressed they were with his reading, writing and counting skills and his general behaviour which is largely down to the staff at Little Adventurers. Thank you.

My little boy has been with Little Adventurers since the day it opened and I am so impressed. Their care and compassion make them stand out from above the rest. The quality and variety of activities they do with the children are always entertaining and engaging for the appropriate age of the child. I could go on and on - highly recommended. After visiting what seemed like every nursery in the local area, I knew immediately that Little Adventurers was the nursery my son would attend! From the very first visit, staff have always been welcoming and it is obvious that the children are at the centre of everything they do. The care they show for each child is second to none - they know the children so well and really take the time to build relationships with them (and their families) so activities follow the children interests - last week's highlight was a visit from a fire engine and going to see some diggers! I was especially attracted to the 'discovery' ethos of the nursery; my son loves the outdoors and has daily access to the garden as well as walks in the local area. The email that is sent at the end of each day with info about meals, nappies and sleep is greatly received especially the photos which provide a great talking point at bedtime and make me feel a little less guilty about leaving him knowing he's had so much fun!

Nothing to say but we are extremely satisfied with the Little Adventurers. We were convinced to choose this nursery from the first day when we met the manager. She knows exactly how to introduce herself and the nursery to the parents and we are confident to say that her professionalism can be confirmed by how all the staff work.
Our daughter has made massive improvements since she joined "Little Adventurers" and this could have only been achieved by the great work everyone's done with her. Every day we receive an email from the nursery showing all the activities our daughter did through the day.
It is a very welcome environment and it is a big relief to see how the children are tailored in their steps toward the next coming school years.
We appreciate the cost is a bit high but it's worth every penny when you see how professional and safe the environment is.

If I had to rate the "Little Adventurers", my vote would be Outstanding.

My 2-year-old has been going to Little Adventurers for 11 months and he loves it. It was the first nursery I visited; I got such a good feeling from it that I didn't see any other places. I've been very happy with my decision. One of my favourite things about the nursery is that the children go out daily. The nursery has an outdoor area but they also take children out for walks. The range of activities is amazing. A lot of them are planned (messy play, sensory activities, arranged visits, etc) but the staff are also creative and make good use of the surroundings. My boy is now obsessed with diggers after seeing a construction site while out walking. I am happy to leave him with any member of staff. They are all friendly, caring, approachable and professional and they do everything they can to make sure that the children are happy and content. My son runs to the nursery and it's obvious he is extremely happy there. As a mother, I couldn't ask for more. Thank you.

My daughter has been attending Little Adventurers for the last 5 months since she was 6.5 months old. This is an amazing nursery.
I cannot speak more highly of the staff there - they are extremely caring, knowledgeable and always welcoming. My daughter absolutely loves it and without fail has a big smile on her face every time we drop her off.
The range of activities provided is exceptional - from baby yoga and painting through to an inside paddling pool party. The nursery strives to provide new experiences for the children e.g. Off-site visits to the park for a summer picnic or visiting the local church to look at the Christmas tree. I get a comprehensive daily report from the nursery outlining how my daughter has spent her day, what she has eaten and when she slept etc...

I particularly appreciate the photos they send me each evening- this gives me invaluable insight into what she has been up to and really helps me to feel that I am not missing out on those fun filled moments.

As a first time mother sending my daughter to the nursery was a very daunting task, however from the minute we entered Little Adventurers, I knew it was the place for us. The staff are wonderful, the nursery is bursting with colour and fun activities are packed into every nook and cranny! My daughter took a while to settle in but I was kept fully in the loop and the patience we received was incredible, and I merrily go off to work knowing she is safe and well cared for. I get a mini update at the end of each day telling me activities, meals ate, nap time and a few pictures and gives me the daily reassurance that the staff at Little Adventurers are my knights in shining armour. I cannot recommend this nursery highly enough. Thank you to everyone at Little Adventurers.

Our little one has been going to the nursery for almost 2 years and I could not have found a better nursery. This is his second nursery locally. The staff are equally excellent with the children and the parents. This nursery understands and practices the best quality in terms of care, development and safety of the children. There is always someone available to talk to if you have any concerns and the staff make sure that they take your requests (medical, development, language...) very seriously. The main aim for my child at the nursery is for him to feel safe, to enjoy every minute, to have activities that promote his development, and lastly to look forward to his nursery day. This is exactly what Little Adventurers do...and more!

Seeing the change in our little ones from when they first arrive and settle; supporting them as they develop all their skills in prime and specific areas; watching them grow in confidence and enjoy their time at nursery before transferring to school. Kerry is also studying for her Level 5 qualification and has previously been a deputy manager. Talking about why she loves Little Adventurers Nursery, she says “It’s simply that children are always put first. We have the flexibility here to make them happy.” Kerry now brings her own little baby to nursery and what better testimonial can there be!

Lewis says, “Working at Little Adventurers has been one of the best supportive environments I have come across. It feels like a family here and it makes it a pleasure to continue my journey in early years education.” For us, it is great to have a male practitioner here at Little Adventurers and Lewis is such a hit with all our little ones!
