Overall Experience

Little Adventurers really is the most wonderful place! I am so thrilled with the level of care provided for my son; he is nurtured, developed, loved and appreciated by the staff that care for him now and have done over the past 3 years. Staff allow and encourage children to be independent and provide a good foundation for them to begin school. The nursery provides extra activities such as football and having the duckling eggs in the preschool room which are both good experiences for the children to have. The food provided is excellent quality and is such a good and varied menu. I would highly recommend Little Adventurers Nursery.

Little Adventures is a great nursery and all the staff are friendly, professional and polite. They provide great care for the children helping them to learn, grow and discover the world around them. The extracurricular activities such as hatching ducklings, having a fish tank for tadpoles and a visiting football coach all help the nursery go the extra mile for the children.

I can honestly say I am over the moon with the manager and team. The ethos of the nursery is exactly what they do every day (an exciting adventure of discovery, exploration and investigation into the world around them). The nursery is a home from home, as our child has moved through the nursery he has been nurtured and encouraged to explore his environment and learn through play whilst building friendships.
Garden time and outdoor trips have been a huge benefit to our son's development and seeing eggs/butterflies hatch and tadpoles develop keep children in touch with nature and wonder. Regular newsletters, nursery community days and parent sessions keep us well informed.
Planting/watering the garden, changing bin bags and helping with cooking/washing have helped give our son real-life skills and a solid life foundation. Our son has developed into a confident, polite, and healthy child keen to learn and help and we will be sad when he leaves for Reception.

Thank you all.

I now have two children attending Little Adventures and am extremely happy with the childcare that I have selected. My children happily attend, knowing that they are going to have full fun days at a nursery which actively encourages learning and development through play. They adore the staff. Each member of the team knows every child and each child knows every staff members, which I consider to be a really nice thing and goes to illustrate the amount of time the staff spend with the children. My children enjoy the environment, food and attention that the nursery provides, which in turns provide me with comfort and confidence that they are in good hands.

This nursery was a wonderful choice for our son he has grown and matured in such a nice learning environment. The food is all prepared on site and the menu is created by a nutritionist to make sure he is receiving a balanced diet. The staff are all approachable and knowledgeable I like the mix of ages of the staff from young to old all sharing their experiences with the children. As my child has moved through the nursery each new room has been an adventure of different activities. I also like the fact the children go on regular outings into the surrounding area from parks to shops even to the local woods allowing the children to explore and learn.

Fantastic nursery run by a first class team. Achieving high standards in all areas of care, diet and EYL. Plenty of outside time mixed with learning play and interactions. Not the cheapest but well worth the investment.

Review from Sarah C (Mother of Child) published on 30 August 2018 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience

My elder daughter has been attending since it first opened and it has truly been a home from home experience for us. She has developed very special bonds with her carers, especially the manager, and had a lot of fun. They have provided all the support and guidance she has required from the ages of 18 months to 4 and a half years old.

There is a consistency in the level of care, and any comments or questions are thoroughly investigated. There is evidence of continuous improvement, for example in the nutrition, activities and in the outdoor space.

With no other options for childcare, I was initially apprehensive about a nursery setting, however, any concerns quickly dissipated and I saw the benefits of an excellent nursery environment. I now have 2 children at the nursery and I have always felt happy leaving my children in their care.

Our relationship with Little Adventurers has been a very positive experience, with genuine affection and I couldn't recommend them highly enough

My little daughter is attending Little Adventurers Nursery since she was 18 months. We are very pleased with her progress, she loves coming into this nursery, she loves her key person and all the staff and she has lots of friends. Every day starts with a big smile on her face and it ends with a big laugh. The staff in this nursery is very friendly and very well trained to look after children and teach them what they should know/do (according to their age). "Feel like home" - is the feeling you get when you come into this nursery! All the staff know all the children by their names and the other way around! The management is continuously looking for activities to keep the children entertained, happy and also to learn something useful from what they are doing! The information email with pictures we get at the end of the day is really good! This nursery is so much different from other nurseries. I have already recommended it and I will keep doing it! They are the best!

Our experience so far has been brilliant. The nursery offered as many settling sessions as I could take my son to, to help him as much as possible. His key person has been amazing and in just two weeks has developed a strong bond with my son which is great. All staff are welcoming and the manager welcomes the children with a smile and by name.

The nursery is also great with communication and shares daily updates and a newsletter so we feel involved.

It's a huge thing trusting someone with your child but the ladies in the baby room have made the transition easier. The care and attention my daughter gets is brilliant, the ladies are fantastic with her. I feel relaxed leaving her knowing she is happy and having fun.

Our daughter is a very fussy eater but she is always catered for and the ladies do an amazing job in helping her with new foods and textures. The variety of nutritional and good food is fantastic.

There is such a wide range of activities throughout the day and we love seeing the pictures on our daily reports of our daughter experiencing these.

We love that the nursery feels like a home from home. We feel happy knowing that she is in a safe and homely environment with people who genuinely care for her.

I couldn't recommend the nursery and its fantastic staff enough.

Literally the best nursery I could wish for. My daughter loves attending. The manager and all the staff are fantastic, they are all personable with the children and it’s clear the children love it there.

The range of food is phenomenal and promotes a balanced nutritious diet. They even get the children involved in prep.

My daughter has grown in confidence, excelled in learning and her behaviour and manners have improved vastly thanks to the work of everyone at Little adventurers. I can’t wait for my little boy to start at the nursery too.

Can’t fault anything at all. Absolutely exceeds all my expectations. Thank you.

We have loved Little Adventurers since day one, which was nearly 3 years ago. It is a very warm, welcoming, family environment and both of our children have made wonderful friendships there. Children are encouraged by the staff to learn, play, have fun, be creative and use their imaginations, and as a result, our children have progressed hugely, both physically and mentally, since starting there. I feel confident leaving my children at Little Adventurers every day when I go to work, as it is such a safe, happy and nurturing environment.
