We are so grateful for this wonderful nursery. Megan and Dan are so lovely and welcoming, even when my child brings in five books and a dinosaur to show them. Liz in particular is one in a million, words can't describe how amazing she is and we are so lucky to have her as my childs key person. The activities, especially the cooking they do, are fantastic and it has been so lovely seeing how much my child has grown in confidence and knowledge. Thank you Liz, Megan, Jan and the whole team for creating such a loving supportive environment and for knowing my child so well.

I'm so pleased that we chose this nursery for our daughter. The staff are amazing and really go above and beyond to make her time there as fun-packed and educational as possible. They're always encouraging her development and we receive regular updates so we can see how she's progressing.

Every week we're sent a newsletter that keeps us up to date with everything happening at the nursery and there always seems to be so much going on, which is lovely to see. We also get daily updates on her meals, sleep and nappy changes, so we always feel fully informed about her day. As well as that, they share what the children have been up to during the day, which I always look forward to reading.

It is very warming when I come to collect them at the end of the day and my son in Discovers 1 is laughing on the other side of the door with staff, loud enough for me to hear. My oldest son who is in Adventures 2 often tells me that he loves the grown up in his room and is always happy to come to nursery. Both boys always run to staff with cuddles when they arrive in the morning.

Overall I think LA is a fantastic nursery where the staff are very friendly, welcoming whilst holding a high standard of professionalism.

Shenfield Day Nursery has been nothing short of outstanding. I feel very comfortable leaving my kid there, and never have to worry about him throughout the day. When issues like illness and allergies have come up, I've always been notified promptly and given options on how to proceed. More than all of that, kiddo is so happy to get there and always playing happily at pickup. He loves the workers in his room and he's learning so much, coming home with new words and skills every week.

I wanted to recommend Little Adventurers Nursery based on our experience from September 2024 to date in Explorers 2 and Adventurers 2. Little Adventurers provides a really welcoming environment for little ones. They are particularly attentive if your child is struggling at drop off to comfort them & distract with breakfast or a favourite activity or cuddle. There is a big emphasis on outdoor play with a lovely large garden including play equipment & flowers to water etc & the children also go out on walks. The food menu is varied and prepared on site - sometimes I wish I was there for lunch! Even when your child changes room, the staff from the old room still take care to say hello when they see your child which reinforces the family environment that is created. Staff really get to know your child & you can see the bonds that form which is very special. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Little Adventurers.

My son started at this nursery from when he was only 10months old and he recently left to go to school. My daughter joined 2 years later also when she was 10months old and is still there. I love the nursery, they really make it feel like one big family. It's always daunting leaving your kids at childcare from a young age, but honestly I feel so comfortable sending my kids here. The staff are brilliant, the food options are amazing and I love they have everything freshly made in house. Both my kids have learnt so much here and they really do provide great opportunities and life experiences. Especially forest school in the pre school room, my son learnt so much from these sessions. Thank you to all at Little Adventurers, you are all truly amazing.

My two young daughters (1 and 2) love it here. They have so much fun and are always excited to go to nursery. My girls love the food and playing with their friends.

The communication with parents is excellent. If we ever have any concerns or questions, they are always addressed promptly. We get regular newsletters to update us about everything that is happening in the nursery. There is also a new Famly app which provides with live updates of what my children ate, when they slept and when they went to the loo.

There are also activities for parents to get involved with throughout the year like the Christmas Party, which is great to get to know some of the staff and other parents.

My child has been at Shenfield Day Nursery for the past three years, I honestly couldn't be happier with the experience. From the very first day, the staff have been warm, welcoming, and incredibly supportive. They created a safe, nurturing environment where my child has grown in confidence, made wonderful friendships, and developed so many new skills.

The communication has always been excellent - I've felt completely reassured knowing that my child's wellbeing, learning, and happiness were at the heart of everything they do.The activities are creative, engaging, and tailored to each child's needs, it's been amazing to see how much progress my child has made both socially and educationally.

What stands out most is the genuine care and dedication from the whole team. They treat the children like their own and that makes all the difference. We are truly grateful for the wonderful start in life that Shenfield Day Nursery has given our child, and I couldn't recommend them highly enough.

My son is leaving for School after 3 wonderful years and my daughter has just started. He has so many lovely memories. From the home from home environment in the baby room to the wide variety of activities offered, and informal everyday learning in the pre-school room. The Staff are all amazing they care for and understand each child's individual needs. Home cooked healthy meals are served daily which my children both loves. A lovely well-maintained garden which the children love and use daily. My son is going to miss Little Adventurers very much.

I couldn't recommend this nursery enough, my little boy loves going there. He always talks about his friends and teachers. He walks in happy and leaves happy, I know he's well cared for from the daily updates and that he enjoys all the fun activities the staff plan for him. I love that it's so clear how much he is loved by everyone there!

Shenfield day nursery is an amazing setting for all children. The staff are all very caring and attentive. My daughter has been at the nursery for 3 years and is leaving at the end of month which is sad but the setting has given her the best start with the amazing learning opportunities for her journey to school. Would highly recommend to any parent.

My child attended for 2 years. The communication from nursery is too with updates and photos available on the app. The children enjoy a wide variety of activities and various classes/sessions with external providers are held.

My child has had excellent key workers and is quite attached to them. They have given my child extra support when he has struggled with transitions and being away from me. There has been a lot of staff changeover in the past 12 months. This seems to be settling down now whilst the new staff bed in.

The garden and preschool room have recently been revamped and my son likes these a lot.

We love Little Adventurers Nursery and are very sad that our son is soon leaving for school! Our son has been going there for 3 years and I cannot fault the staff for their dedication to the children. They genuinely care. I feel my son has learnt so much and progressed to where he is now because of the teachings he has had at Little Adventurers.

Fantastic nursery - our children love it. The staff are warm, with low turnover there is a consistent team for the children to develop relationships with. Great equipment inside and out, with trips to parks and strong links to the primary school to help with transition. We get daily updates and photos, plus tasty, healthy meals (children even help with cooking and preparing the snacks). Always clean, welcoming, and supportive - highly recommended

Excellent nursery and care received to my child since she started in October. Caring and educational home from home feel and really listen and support with your child's needs. My daughter enjoys her time there and the nursery is supportive to children and parents

With a number of new nurseries opening up in the area I would consider looking at other providers before recommitting to LA, Hopefully an increase in choices in the area will create more competition in the area and increased support from the government will make these fee's more manageable.

Fantastic nursery! My 7 year old went here and now my little boy. The staff are enthusiastic and amazing with the kids from management all the way through. The nursery really focuses on healthy eating and lifestyles which is very important to me. A nursery full of warmth, fun, sing songs, playtime, experience, love, and calmness, the perfect start for our children.

I have also noticed that the nursery is always very clean and the staff members are so welcoming, always with a smile on their face. In the mornings I know I'm leaving my daughter in safe hands and I trust the setting to take very good care of her!
