What an absolutely outstanding nursery! I honestly can’t praise it enough. So wonderful to see my toddler happy and thriving. He is so well cared for and looked after that I don’t have to worry about him at all during the day, as I know he will be loving his time in nursery! My son has just started in Adventurers 2, having just turned 3. He has been at the nursery now since he turned 1 in March 2019. The level of care over the course of the last year in Explorers 2 has been excellent. The management team and staff have done a great job at ensuring the nursery is covid safe with strict bubbles between rooms, hand-washing, deep cleaning and limiting parent access. At no point have I felt my child was at risk going there and we have had zero issues during what is an unsettling period for everyone. Our little one goes into nursery every day with a smile on his face and comes home smiling, often covered in paint or mud - a sign of a great day in our eyes! It is an environment that fosters creative play, outdoor exploring, friendships and music; he often sings songs on the way home he has learnt there. More recently, the manager has been great to support with facilitating some extra days on a weekly basis to help us out! Great nursery!

We cannot fault Little Adventurers Nursery. Our son loves his nursery days. He has so much fun and has learnt so much. The nursery has really got him ready for school. We are so thankful to fin a home away from home for him.

She is always so happy when I collect her, and will excitedly tell me what she has been doing. I am always surprised how much they have done, which is brilliant. I love that we get photos sent from the day and it’s lovely to look at them with her and talk about what she was doing in them.
I love that they always do lots of outdoor activities (weather permitting). The fact the food is all home cooked and so balanced is fantastic.
We have had no concerns in regards to COVID-19 as the nursery have put so much in place to make it a safe environment for everyone.

We absolutely love Little Adventurers and everyone who is a part of it! They are all truly amazing and helped my daughter settle so well. There was not a single teardrop from her! It's been such a challenging time since the start of the pandemic but the whole Little Adventurers team have dealt with it all with the utmost professionalism and as far as I am concerned, you would never know we were in the middle of a pandemic as everything just runs so smoothly. My daughter attends Little Adventurers. This is my second child at the nursery. She is happy on her nursery days and comes home full of news of the exciting things they have done. I am happy with the nursery. I feel she is safe and well looked after and nurtured. They are very attentive to her individual needs. The manager is very pleasant and has a good team around her. I would recommend it to others.

Our son settled in at Little Adventurers from the very first day. He felt comfortable with the staff and they have provided excellent care as well as working really hard on his learning and development and preparation for school. He's confident and has made good friends. Particularly impressed with how they have managed the various challenges the covid has posed. A lovely nursery with an excellent management team which shines through in the consistency and loyalty of the staff and their professional care towards the children. The setting, although in a high-density residential area, is a clean, peaceful and fun environment to learn and play and they have made the best of the space available. They have really gone the extra mile to settle my daughter both when she first started and post-pandemic by sending presentations and videos for her to engage and familiarise herself with.

The staff and setting at Little Adventures can’t be faulted. Our daughter started during the COVID pandemic after using a childminder for the last couple of years. The manager and the team went out their way to make our daughter feel comfortable in the new setting. All the staff are really friendly and our daughter settled into the new environment really quickly.

I am totally confident in the nursery leadership and management during the COVID pandemic. They have maintained transparency throughout to provide reassurance and taken additional steps that other nurseries may not have done to keep everyone safe and reduce the Irish of the nursery premises being a source of infection. This included regular deep cleans of carpets etc as well as the daily cleaning of toys and equipment.

The nursery has had such an impact on my son, with him being an only child he can be quite shy with others. He is growing confidence with others daily and loves the wonderful staff that look after him. The food is really balanced and I love the fact that it has been thought about with nutrition in mind! In particular, I would like to give praise to the nursery on their response during the Coronavirus Pandemic from implementing measures to keep everyone safe to still providing a wonderful home from home for our children.

This is our second child at Little Adventures and we could not be any happier with them. Our little one is so happy here. She enjoys each day and loves every minute of it. She even asks why they are closed on the weekends! The team are truly amazing and remain consistently strong in what they do and are professional and caring. Despite the pandemic, the nursery continues to provide engaging activities for her and we really enjoy the emails that show this as well as what she gets up to during the day. The staff are also supportive of our concerns and work with us to help guide us with her learning and development. We also receive regular updates about the menu which really helps us understand the nutrition and balanced diet she is eating. She once told us that she had a chocolate cake for pudding which was made out of beetroot! Very healthy indeed! We love Little Adventurers dearly. They have truly given us a continued positive experience who are supportive of children and families.

COVID has served to highlight what a great nursery this is. I am confident in the measures they have put in place to prevent the spread between parents, staff and children and they have communicated frequently and thoroughly throughout the pandemic.
Our children have a wonderful time at nursery, the staff are engaging, fun and really bring out the best in our children's personalities, it is a joy to see photos of them having such a lovely time at nursery and to hear all about their games, adventures, stories and learnings when they come home. Meet the Team (4)
Nursery Manager Ginny has over 30 years of early years education experience. She has been a manager for the past 20 years and her never ending enthusiasm and passion shines through, making her one of the most inspiring and dynamic leaders in the industry. Little Adventurers Nursery has been developed with Ginny’s ethos and vision and is very much a home from home where children are encouraged to enjoy real experiences and routines in the nursery are flexible and spontaneous. Ginny is qualified to Level 6 Early Years Professional Status, is one of the safe guarding officers as well as the Special Educational Needs Officer for the setting.
Charlotte has been working very hard over the past 2 years, studying and recently achieving her level 5 in Early Years & Childcare. During that time, Charlotte has also been promoted from Assistant Deputy to Deputy Manager and she is based in our under 2’s room. Charlotte has been with the setting since before opening as one of the core team members. “Joining Little Adventurers has reminded me why I went into childcare 13 year ago; to give high quality care in a loving and supportive environment. Seeing the change in our little ones from when they first arrive and settle; supporting them as they develop all their skills in prime and specific areas; watching them grow in confidence and enjoy their time at nursery before transferring to school. There’s lots of flexibility at this nursery and it has a real family feel. Ginny is my inspiration with her knowledge and her practice.”
Kerry has been a member of the nursery team since the beginning and brings over 13 years of early years experience to the setting. Kerry is our Assistant Deputy Manager and was previously our Deputy Manager prior to her maternity leave. Kerry’s expertise is with our under 2’s age group and she is passionate about giving them a creative and happy time at nursery, “So much of their brain development happens at 0 to 2 years and this has a direct link to their likely outcomes at age 5 and above.” Kerry’s team say that she thinks outside the box and has a calming presence in the baby room. Kerry is also studying for her Level 5 qualification and has previously been a deputy manager. Talking about why she loves Little Adventurers Nursery, she says “It’s simply that children are always put first. We have the flexibility here to make them happy.” Kerry now brings her own little baby to nursery and what better testimonial can there be!
Lewis brings over 20 years experience of early years training to Little Adventurers. He has previously been in a deputy manager role and has Level 3 Business & Management Training. Lewis said that when he first went into childcare his passion was just about working with children but now he has developed that further and (along with having the experience of 4 of his own children) believes in keeping children happy and extending their interest through play. Lewis says, “Working at Little Adventurers has been one of the best supportive environments I have come across. It feels like a family here and it makes it a pleasure to continue my journey in early years education.” For us, it is great to have a male practitioner here at Little Adventurers and Lewis is such a hit with all our little ones!
