This is an amazing place where staff cares about your child, children are happy and have tons of activities the staff has been there for several years including management.
They are full of interesting and engaging activities including the garden for the children where they can plants flowers and fruits.
Is
one single room which makes the space more manageable for staff and the ratios also are easier to handle.
The children do yoga as well and parents are welcome to participate in activities if they want to.
The hours are slightly shorter than other nurseries but the value for money is great.
They also respect the funded hours.

The whole team at the Round Chapel are like family to my daughter. She talks about them every day when she gets home and tells me all the brilliant things she did with them, how playful they all are and how she loves them. She settled in wonderfully and immediately felt at home. She is always happy
to go and whenever I come collect her she is having so much fun she frequently doesn't want to leave! She has developed and learned so much in her time here, especially with her language and social skills.

One of the fun things about round chapel is that we can always observe the children when we drop off and collect and they always seem to be having the time of their life, including the staff who genuinely enjoy our children. It is truly a nursery for our community and it's exactly the kind of warm and nurturing place I imagined my children would go to.

Our daughter has been attending Round Chapel Families Project Nursery four days per week since spring/summer 2023. The team are extremely professional, attentive, caring and warm. They adapt to a child's needs and provide a diverse set of nurturing and stimulating activities, from play, literacy and
crafts, to cooking, local trips, capoeira, yoga, observing many cultural calendar events and much more and this is all underpinned by a very considered ethos. The setting is lovely, light, open and fun. The communication with parents is very good. We've had no issues and very few tears!

I can’t recommend the nursery highly enough. The staff provide a loving, safe and caring space for the children. Our son developed so much in their care, in confidence, in manners etc.
He left two months ago yet still we can’t walk past Roundchapel without a meltdown ensuing because he wants to go
in to see his old teachers and toys. Testimony to happy memories.

Our daughter attended Round Chapel Nursery years 2018-20 and now our son is attending too, the staff are the same fantastic ladies, they are like a big family, as the atmosphere they create and the consistency of their presence and education methods make us feel safe. The manager is that special human
being, coming up with solutions and an array of creative strategies she pulls out on a hat trick from her seasoned experience in the industry. The nursery cherishes a compassionate and inclusive approach to interacting with our children. For these reasons and more, we wholesomely recommend Round Chapel Nursery to all friends & acquaintances and parents living in the area.

There were notable issues that left me dissatisfied. My child has been bitten by the same child on two occasions. I don't believe that the staff have taken safety measures seriously. I've been told there were 7 children and 3 adults next to them. I cannot understand how my child got hurt that his skin
came off with 3 adults around. I don't believe precautions were taken after the first incident. My concerns are about the staff not taking precautions and being attentive with the children. My child has suffered physically and mentally, he was scared to go near other children for a while.
Despite my initial optimism, the issues persisted, and it became apparent that improvements were necessary. I believe in the importance of constructive feedback, and I hope this review serves as an opportunity for Round Chapel Families Project Nursery to address these concerns and enhance their services. I hope my experience can make positive changes in Round Chapel Families Project Nursery's operations.

We are saddened to hear that you feel this way about our nursery, but we did attempt to offer further support at the time, which was unfortunately refused. Our nursery prides itself in having a…read more

Current Review Score: 8.8 (8.757)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 8.8 (8.757) out of 10 for Round Chapel Families Project Nursery is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.3 out of 5 from 6 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.5 out of 5 from 5 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.257 for Round Chapel Families Project Nursery is calculated as follows: ( (54 Excellents x 5) + (4 Goods x 4) + (12 Very Poors x 1) ) ÷ 70 Ratings = 4.257
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 4.5 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Round Chapel Families Project Nursery is based on 5 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 10 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, and then 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews and then 0.1 Points for the next five Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.100, 7th = 0.100, 8th = 0.100, 9th = 0.100, 10th = 0.100) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 = 3.5
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 18 number of registered child places is 3.6, which has been reached with 5 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
