Cherubins Day Nursery - Chestnut Lodge

Every day the boys were excited to attend. The staff are all amazing, especially Ms Jennifer. They take extra care and both my boys have learnt so much. I would recommend this nursery 10x over! It has a loving and family-like feel to it.

I want to thank everyone in Cherubins Day Nursery who has made my son's nursery experience unforgettable. A special thank you to Bruna, Shania, Ms Jen for taking the time to learn my child, build special bonds, and for always making him feel safe, heard and comfortable. He has learned so much and is now ready to take on big school.

From September 2025 until now of this year July, staff have been very helpful in supporting my son's needs in his speech and communication, which I was concerned about when he was 2. I appreciate the sensory room which has done a good job of calming him down when he feels overwhelmed. I like to thank Dawn, Kellee, Bruna, Alyssa, Hanna and the deputy for being very patient with me, from the very beginning when my little one was 7 months until now.

my children attend this nursery for holiday clubs. they love it. the staff are very caring and the children have a wonderful time. they attend outings do lots of indoor activities and garden games. they never want to go home at the end of the day.

Both my daughters aged 2 and 4 attend this Nursery who have special needs and non verbal and I'm so happy with the care and time take out by staff to attend to there need I highly recommend cherubins nursery staff are lovely and thank you to you all

The space at the setting is very generous with a wonderful, large garden sectioned off for different ages. When choosing the nursery, we were really drawn to the outdoor area and focus on play outside, especially in London where there are often space constraints. More generally, we've been blown away by the effort the staff have made to help the children have so many special experiences.

The nursery has looked after all three of my children over the last 6 years. I love the staff and the environment they create for all the children. Staff have also supported me emotionally over a very difficult time. My youngest cried so much when he started nursery but now he loves it so much that every morning he's asking if hes going to see his teacher and I love that.

Our child's experience there left mother scared and less trusting of nursery staff. Our 14months was put in at a table facing the wall, alone while staff tended to other children at another table eating. Child/baby cried so much & in distress that the parent heard the child from the reception. They had 2 or 3 occasions of skin redness from nappy btw the thights & around baby's waist. The child was not invited to their room's outing.... the baby was ostracised because parent called out their shortcoming from start; for instance, they recorded child sleeping, and at the same time baby is recorded as playing well with others or having snacks or nappy change. Child's lip was bust open from a fall (Child's first time of trying to stand/ walk) while there was just 3toddlers in baby room on the day. The nursery is good for over 2years.... my view as a parent and professional within children sector. The management is quite good at ensuring the safety & wellbeing of their staff

The staff have always been friendly and supportive. They have always made my partner and I feel welcome. Most importantly, our daughter has thrived in a warm and friendly environment.

Our child has had a great experience during the past 2.5 years. He particularly likes the staff and friends he has made. Cherubins are a nurturing nursery that makes the transition to childcare a breeze.

My experience of Cherubins Day Nursery has been a good one overall. My eldest son came to the nursery between the ages of 2 and 5. My daughter is currently in the nursery and is enjoying her experience with her friends and teachers. My youngest son is due to start nursery soon, and I would recommend it to my friends who are parents.

Staff are friendly and approachable. We will be so sad to leave.

Our daughter joined Cherubins at 9 months and settled in really quickly. She is 18 months old now and loves going to nursery, she even runs to greet her key workers on arrival. She enjoys the food, the outside facilities and the endless toys. The people however are what makes Cherubins such a fantastic place. Two staff members in particular and many many more make it a very happy experience for our daughter. Would certainly recommend this nursery.

Loving, warm and welcoming nursery. Our little boy has been going to Cherubins Day Nursery for two years and loves it. He's 3 now, and often suprises us with the things he has learnt at nursery, such as alphabet, shapes, numbers and tracing. We are very happy here!

Cherubins Day Nursery are amazing! The staff in the baby room are so kind and take beautiful care of our child! They make sure her needs are always met and cater to any specific requests we make IE, sleep routine, etc! in our first full week our child turned very ill and the nursery gave her the most incredible care, and followed up daily to check on her recovery. I trust the staff and know our child is safe and happy with them. Her development and confidence have also developed so quickly since starting, it is just wonderful to see. Thank you to all at Cherubins, particularly the baby room.
