Partou Stepping Stones Day Nursery & Pre-school

I'm totally recommending Stepping Stones Nursery. From the first day my daughter started, I could see how happy she was. She improved in all ways. All the staff is really friendly and always there to help with any questions or concerns. I feel really safe knowing that my daughter is in good hands. Well done team!

Stepping Stones is an excellent nursery. My daughter has attended for two years since she was a year old and we have had an amazing experience so far. Would highly recommend. The staff are friendly and caring and she absolutely loves going to nursery.

The team is quite friendly, kind and helpful. My kid had difficulty settling in and now he is very happy when I drop him off at nursery, and he is happy when I pick him up. They also help me if I have some problem with nursery paperwork. Food is good, it made me realize my kid is up to try different tastes.

My daughter has been with them since she was 10 months old and she will be four next month. Interestingly, I have never had a reason to complain about care at the setting. It is a great setting for children to grow.

The staff are fantastic, caring and hard working. The nursery staff have been great at settling my little one into his first nursery experience. The communication from management is not so good. Twice I requested receipts for my nursery payments via email to the management, and twice by a telephone call in order to send to Universal Credit. I still have received nothing. As a result, my Universal Credit payments have been held up which has been most unwelcome and could have been avoided had management been better at responding to emails and remembering to complete tasks discussed over the phone. Very frustrating. Also, sometimes my child is handed over to me at the end of the day (6pm) without his coat, hat or jumper on (they are just handed to me) so I have to dress him at the nursery front door - often in the cold (it’s November), to prepare him for his journey home. This doesn’t happen with all just all nursery staff. The learning book is great!

A wonderful and supportive team create such a lovely atmosphere for everyone. The facilities are excellent and a recent update to the baby room looks great. The feedback you receive daily and the regular observations are really valuable. My little boy loves it there!

Stepping Stones is a fabulous place with kind, caring and always smiling staff. My little boy is so excited to go in the morning and his development has come on leaps and bounds since starting. Would recommend it to anyone.

Our son adores his three days a week at Stepping Stones. He is excited every morning on his way in and always returns to us very happy, full of smiles and lovely stories about his day. All the staff are extremely helpful and kind to us and him. We would highly recommend this nursery.

This nursery is amazing. I was a bit worried about sending my son to nursery at such a young age, turns out it was the best thing for him. He's made a lot of progress with his speech and his attitude to learning. All the staff are amazing and always there to help everyone's needs - however big or small. With covid 19, the staff have all been great with all the PPE and distancing.

After having a horrific experience at a previous nursery, this nursery Stepping Stones is a breath of fresh air. The girls have made and continue to make a special effort with my daughter who absolutely loves it there. All the girls there are amazing and I can’t thank them enough for making me feel at ease when leaving my daughter in their care. Would highly recommend, she comes out clean, eating foods that I can’t even get her to eat, and makes lots of crafty pictures and little things. Excellent.

The nursery were brilliant with our son and treated him like their own. He learnt so much and developed a lot of confidence due to the time and devotion the staff gave him. We moved some distance away from the nursery after a few months but travelled for 3 years to keep his place as our son was so happy there.

My elder son went to this nursery, he was always happy to go there now. He has now started school and my little girl has joined there. She loves it. I’m very happy and I’ll recommend Stepping Stones to every parent.

I have two young boys who attend Speedwell Stepping Stones and I can honestly say that from day one, I have felt so extremely comfortable leaving them with the staff at Speedwell as all of them are so kind and caring and only have the child’s best interest at heart which is all that a mum can ask for - they are so well looked after! There are always new activities to do for them and they go outside as much as possible (which is great seeing as both of my boys love the outdoors). It can be a difficult choice to make, leaving your children at a nursery but I have no worries or concerns as I know how well they are both looked after. I have to mention a few members of staff in the baby room have been a dream and settled my youngest son in so quickly and staff in pre-school can not do enough to encourage their development, preparing them for school which is essential to any child! The Nursery Manager has also been very helpful and supportive.
