Little Diamonds Ltd - Cambridge Lodge

My son has been attending this nursery for the past 3 years and I have been very happy with the care he’s received. He’s always happy to go to nursery and has made such good relationships with the staff and other children. We will miss it a lot when he leaves.

My daughter has been at the nursery for 2 years now. She started when she was a baby. The gradual increase in our daughter’s development through being at this nursery has been fantastic and she has bags of confidence. They are great at interacting with the children and take development very seriously. The staff are very professional and work very very hard and there are key members of staff who have been there since my daughter started and they have been incredible throughout. My daughter adores them all so so much. The nursery has been incredible through this crisis that we have all had to face and they have kept infections away from the nursery and that’s a huge effort from the management who run this nursery who have been amazing at every step. I’ve had to deal with bad situations at nursery myself and they’ve stepped up and helped when I needed it. I cannot speak highly enough of this nursery but all I would say is they are brilliant and my daughter loves it here so much.

We really are fortunate, and I am sure my boy will be streets ahead when he starts primary school!

I am a mother of a child who is currently attending Little Diamonds at Hermon Hill, my child gets up every morning talking about nursery as she gets ready. She will be singing in the car on the way and talks about the practitioners she is with at nursery. My daughter runs into the gates and is welcomed by a member of staff who is always happy, smiley and calm. I find that this reassures me that I can be approachable to talk to her and other practitioners at the nursery if I have any messages to say on any particular day. My daughter is engaged in lots of WOW activities because she always talks about her day when we get home. The meals at nursery are prepared fresh on a daily basis and this helps me know that my child is receiving the nutrition she needs. The outdoor space at Little Diamonds is amazing and provided lots of physical activities for the development of my child. I receive feedback via the Wiker app and this is amazing.

I could not be happier with our experience at Little Diamonds. My daughter (just turned one) started just after lockdown and we were still able to have a settling in period (where we sat outside for one hour a day with the key worker). Now she is attending 4 full days a week and every day we get a detailed report (via an app) on what she has eaten and done during the day. I have always felt they have been honest with us on how she is getting on (for example there was a period she wasn’t eating much or napping). The menu at the nursery is very healthy and varied. Our daughter is very happy there and all of the nursery workers are friendly and have welcomed her with open arms (they all know her name). The nursery has been particularly good during Covid-19 as they have been able to section off the outside area to keep the children’s “bubbles” separate and also there are a few entrances/exits to the nursery. When I’m at work I’m able to relax knowing she is happy and in safe hands.

The menus are balanced and fresh, and the staff pay attention to what my daughter eats.

I could not be more satisfied with the care of my daughter and her development has been fantastic since she started. I feel so relaxed during the days knowing she is in safe hands and having a good time. Could not fault it!

Both of my sons attend this beautiful and loving nursery. The staff are all incredibly knowledgeable and the management's standards are high - it doesn't matter who you speak to you always get an informed response. It's set up seems very different to the other nurseries in the area as there are separate rooms dedicated to creative play, construction and arts/crafts. The toilets are also separate to the rooms and the children eat in a dining room together which is lovely. The nursery feels more like a home than a nursery and my sons love it!

My boy wasn't settled in previous nursery. But here staff persisted and he now loves going. I'm so happy. He gets so excited and waves me good bye when I leave him. He loves all the activities. The staff are superb as well.

The dilemma, where do I leave my baba whilst at work? Easy, Little Diamonds. My son loves every aspect of his second home and so do I, as they treasure him as much as I do. The team have created a home, a fun safe environment to play, learn and grow :). The nursery opening times are very generous and I never feel like I have to rush to collect him. The location is stunning as they live in a beautiful renovated house where the children can move from room to room and the garden is well though out. My son benefits and enjoys the time he spends at Little Diamonds and I have a very honest open relationship with the team. We are all very happy!
