My two children and I love this nursey. My daughter is nearly 4 and has been at the nursery since she was 8 months. The staff are caring, interested and hardworking.

It's only since having to look at other nurseries for my youngest as my eldest will be starting school that I have realised all the trips and out of nursery events are really unusual and one of the things which make this nursery so good. I travel a distance (as we moved) to keep my two children here and I am looking at how I can do it with one in school - it's that good!

I recommend this nursery to anyone.

My daughter loves going to nursery and she’s not even 2! Her excitement when she sees and recognises her nursery as we approach it in the morning, means the world! I’m so thankful for the teachers who love her, educate her and are well aware of her development skills. Every teacher shows a genuine and authentic interest in my child and I’m sure it’s the same with every other child. This nursery is of the highest calibre in terms of quality teachers, clean and flourishing environment! I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone looking for a place that will love your child and help them in their development.

The staff at this nursery are what make it so great. My child has transitioned between two rooms as he’s got older with lots of support to both myself and to him.
There’s always lots of extra curricular activities happening and events associated with key annual dates, most recently learning about Divali and Remembrance Day.

Whenever I have any concerns or ideas the management have an open door policy and always take on feedback or help me when I need it!

Overall it is an excellent nursery and have recommended to friends. The staff are passionate about both the personal care and learning journeys of the children.

I feel comfortable giving feedback to nursery staff and management and feel it is taken on board.

I feel there could be additional equipment in the garden, however, it has improved. I would like to see more bikes and maybe a wooden playhouse.

I like the extracurricular activities the nursery offer, including ballet, rhythm time, tennis, yoga etc.

One improvement I would like is additional info in the daily journal around focus learning activity for the day and how the child got on. Also maybe a note to say what we can work on at home on a weekly basis.

There is a safety issue with the parking at the nursery with parents parking on the double yellow lines outside and limited allocated spaces. The nursery could maybe call a face to face meeting with parents to address this as many are happy to ignore the warnings.

Thank you for your feedback much appreciated, please see response below:

Garden- The equipment is generally put away at the end of the day but we will assess how many bikes we have and order more if required. We have recently had the grass relaid with astroturf and a range of flowers and herbs...

My son settled into the nursery really well. He has fantastic relationships with the staff, especially his key person. We get written feedback each day in his diary which is great as I rarely get to collect him from nursery due to work commitments.

My daughter loves attending here and after a rocky start, all staff made her feel at home and safe with ease, so now she will run into nursery excited as can be. From this she has became a clever little lady from the help of all her carers. They are all very supportive and do their best to help her to develop further and encourages her to make soo many new friends. I would definitely recommend the nursery with ease.

My child has attended this nursery since he was 9 months old. We couldn't be happier with the progress that he has made. The staff know everything there is to know about my child and they go above and beyond for him. He is so happy there which is the most important thing to me as a busy working mum. The staff made his transition into his nursery life an easy one for him and for me. I cannot praise this nursery enough. The whole team from the management to the housekeeper are amazing!!

We have been continually very impressed by the very high standard of care that our son receives at Norfolk House. Care is genuinely individualised to suit his needs and interests. The effort made by the staff to provide excitement for the children and support for parents is exceptional. We're very happy we chose NH for our little man. Many thanks to you all.

Hayley Fox

I am Hayley Fox, the Senior Nursery Manager. I oversee all three of our nurseries, sharing my time between them and working closely with the Nursery Managers who are responsible for their day-to-day operation. We have found that this arrangement further enhances the level of service we are able to provide and keeps us at the very forefront of Early Years education.

I have worked in Early Years education for 22 years. I started work at our Norfolk Road setting in April 2009, some five months before it opened its doors. I have therefore been able to recruit staff, plan and implement policies, and develop best practices in all areas from the Nursery’s very inception. My own daughter attended the Nursery and progressed through every age group, which has enabled me to view it from a parent’s perspective.

My team and I would be delighted to show you around our setting, explain further the service we provide and answer all your questions. Please do not hesitate to make contact me, and I look forward very much to meeting you in the future.

I oversee the day to day running of the nursery alongside my management team ensuring that all children are not only offered the highest standards of care and education but that it is tailored to meet every child’s needs in a safe, secure and enabling environment, where all children are comfortable and happy. My own son has attended the nursery since he was 9 months old and has made great achievements in all of his development, I couldn’t be happier!
