LEYF - Weir Link Nursery & Pre-School

With our eldest now at school, we are repeating the Weir Link journey with our youngest, who, having been there a matter of months is really blossoming under the care of the staff and brilliant management. Lately, my daughter has not wanted to leave, which speaks for itself! The staff know each child inside out and show the utmost care, going above and beyond. It is a wonderful nursery.

We currently have our second child at Weir Link and there was nowhere else we would have rather had her cared for after such a great experience with our first, who really blossomed in his time, setting him up perfectly for school.

My son has been at the nursery for over 18 months now (I think!) and he absolutely loves it. My daughter is signed up to begin in August and I know too that she will love it. We couldn't ask for more from the staff at the nursery. Regardless of any problem thrown at them, things run very smoothly indeed. My son's social skills, speech and early learning skills are more progressed than children I know of a similar age that do not attend such a good nursery. At drop off I always look in the kitchen and it is spotless! When perusing the newsletter I can see that they have a packed activity schedule and my son is always bringing home bits of art for us! When we ask the staff for help (potty training/stop biting other children etc.) they are very good at reinforcing what we are trying to do at home.

My grandson has attended The Weir Link Nursery from the age of 13 months to 3 years and 10 months. During his time there, I have witnessed his amazing progress and ongoing development under the care and supervision of a professional and extremely caring team. Although there have been several staff changes, the team has been led by the Nursery manager who has always shown passion for her job. Whenever I dropped off or collected my grandson from the Nursery, I was always made to feel welcome and kept informed of any necessary information. I look forward to experiencing their continued commitment when my granddaughter attends early in 2019 at the age of 11 months. Well done indeed and THANK YOU, The Weir Link Nursery!

Our kids have been attending this nursery since very early. We have seen the nursery grow and improve every year. The staff and direction have done outstanding work, and the result is there for everyone to see.

Both our children have attended The Weir Link nursery and we couldn't be happier with both the teachers and the management. Our eldest is now at school (started nursery at 9 months) and our little one is in the Baby room. Daily varied activities to stimulate the children, a lot of personalised and loving care, a solid organization in the background: this nursery feels like family to us. They offer an extraordinary value for money (they have been awarded Outstanding by Ofsted) considering the prices of other nurseries in the area. We are very proud of all the achievements of these last years and couldn't recommend them highly enough.

We have been at The Weir Link for a few years. It's a great nursery and our kids are really happy there. The activities they do are really good. My daughter loves it so much she doesn't want to leave when I pick her up!

My eldest son went to The Weir Link from 9 months until he left for school and he loved it. When we had our youngest a year ago, it was an obvious choice to go back. I was thrilled to see how much the nursery had come on under new management, but even more thrilled that some of the staff that my eldest had loved were still there and now look after my youngest. The nursery space and garden are wonderful, the staff professional and I always feel like my son is as loved and cared for as he would be at home. That's all you can ask really!

Our eldest daughter thrived there and is now doing well in reception academically and socially which in large part is because of the dedicated staff at the Weir Link and their complete focus on children and their development. The nursery improved a great deal over the 4 years our eldest daughter was there and is now a very well functioning and organised place. The staff are friendly, open and most important of all, caring. They are clearly motivated and from the outside, it seems that they are made to feel valued by the nursery's management. I appreciate the child learning plans, the feedback to parents and the activities both indoors and outdoors. We had no hesitation in choosing to send our second daughter there from a few months ago and we are as pleased with the care she gets now as we were with our eldest.

It's nice to be able to get a chance to provide this feedback to the nursery and the staff: they're a class act.

The Weir Link is an outstanding nursery. We have been particularly impressed at the level of care given to all of the children by the staff - your child is truly treated as an individual rather than just a 'number'. The range of activities which the children partake in is really impressive and there is a significant focus on children's development through learning and play, even at a very young age. We love getting the weekly updates of what the children have been up to and our 14 month-old daughter has come on leaps and bounds since starting at the nursery. We feel very lucky to have her at such a wonderful nursery!

A close-knit nursery who are dedicated and committed to each child and their development! They are very transparent and inform you if there are any concerns regarding your child. I would definitely recommend this nursery to friends and family! My daughter had a wonderful experience and will miss it once she has started school!

Lovely and welcoming nursery staff! It is a really feel at home environment for our son. They have a range of activities planned for each week which keeps him engaged and entertained. Overall very happy with my choice of nursery and would definitely recommend it to everyone!

A great nursery with lovely, caring and welcoming staff. My son started here on his 1st birthday and 1 and 1/2 years later, we are still over the moon. He settled into his new routine very quickly, thanks to the amazing staff and all his transitions have been seamless. He looks forward to his time at nursery every day!

Our son recent joined in February. Settled in easily and well. Every member of staff is kind, enthusiastic and passionate about the children and nursery. They are engaged and switched on. The activities are varied and interesting and staff respond well to children's needs. Facilities are clean and well maintained. The garden is small but used cleverly.

A range of full activities and play is always in session whenever I go to pick up my son. The staff always take the time to tell me how he has particularly done at nursery that day and his progress or challenges.

We are very pleased with the nursery and would highly recommend it. Our both kids went there and they liked it very much!

We have been increasingly pleased with The Weir Link Nursery over the past 3 years, having watched 2 children attend. The staff are incredibly warm and the content is entertaining. Our child is very happy there and has developed a great confidence through this experience.
