The Nursery is situated inside The Weir Link community centre, not far from Clapham South tube. It's a bright, open plan setting with separate areas for different age groups and a large garden.

The children enjoy lots of varied activities with the experienced staff, from messy play in the mud kitchen to sensory ice, yoga, science experiments, growing herbs, and more! Parents get involved too, reading stories to the children in their first languages.

A dedicated chef provides all the children's meals using recipes from LEYF’s nutritious menu.

  • Our minimum sessions are 2 full days. We cater to children under 5 years of age. The fee structure is split as under 3's and over 3s.


    We are open 5 days a week, Monday to Friday, 8 am to 6 pm. We are open all year and closed during Christmas and Bank holidays.

My son has been in this nursery for over 7 months and I can see how he has developed his learning/social skills significantly. The staff is always very friendly and caring. I wish they could earn more money as they deserve it. I have also seen an improvement in its cleanliness since last year. I will
recommend this nursery to friends and family as I feel that my son is very well looked after. Thanks.

Both our daughters are in Weir Link Nursery and are very happy there. Every day they are doing interesting activities and they both really enjoy going. Our youngest daughter only recently joined the baby room and it didn't take long for her to settle in. The teachers are always very friendly and you
always get an informative account of your child's day at the end of the day. The children also really enjoy playing in the outdoor garden and the older children go on an occasional outing to the library, local shop or church. Both nursery teachers and management are very engaged working with the children and motivated and you really get the feeling they care a lot.

We had both our kids at Weir Link. The current staff and the director and deputy director are great, showing so much care and dedication to the children. I was really touched by something that happened recently. Our small child had his finger trapped in a door and had to go to hospital for an operation.
The deputy director phoned my wife twice in the evening, when her job was over, to inquire how our little one was doing. We were really impressed with how caring she was. The staff also thought carefully and prepared solutions how to protect our kid's hand when he returned to nursery. He is now all fine and very happy to be back.

Amazing staff, my daughter is so happy and learning so much, great food menu, fresh, homemade and no sugar. Huge variation in learning activities, children are happy and inspired by what they get to learn. Great facilities both indoor and outdoor. The toddlers are being challenged on a daily basis.
Staff are fantastic and offer great end of day feedback on how my daughter has done.

I'm really happy with the nursery in all Aspect. If I have to find something that could be improved I would suggest to don't change key persons so often. I believe kids need to build up a relation with the key person and any change means to start this build up from scratch.

With our eldest now at school, we are repeating the Weir Link journey with our youngest, who, having been there a matter of months is really blossoming under the care of the staff and brilliant management. Lately, my daughter has not wanted to leave, which speaks for itself! The staff know each child
inside out and show the utmost care, going above and beyond. It is a wonderful nursery.

My son has been at the nursery for over 18 months now (I think!) and he absolutely loves it. My daughter is signed up to begin in August and I know too that she will love it. We couldn't ask for more from the staff at the nursery. Regardless of any problem thrown at them, things run very smoothly indeed.
My son's social skills, speech and early learning skills are more progressed than children I know of a similar age that do not attend such a good nursery. At drop off I always look in the kitchen and it is spotless! When perusing the newsletter I can see that they have a packed activity schedule and my son is always bringing home bits of art for us! When we ask the staff for help (potty training/stop biting other children etc.) they are very good at reinforcing what we are trying to do at home.

My grandson has attended The Weir Link Nursery from the age of 13 months to 3 years and 10 months. During his time there, I have witnessed his amazing progress and ongoing development under the care and supervision of a professional and extremely caring team. Although there have been several staff changes,
the team has been led by the Nursery manager who has always shown passion for her job. Whenever I dropped off or collected my grandson from the Nursery, I was always made to feel welcome and kept informed of any necessary information. I look forward to experiencing their continued commitment when my granddaughter attends early in 2019 at the age of 11 months. Well done indeed and THANK YOU, The Weir Link Nursery!

Both our children have attended The Weir Link nursery and we couldn't be happier with both the teachers and the management. Our eldest is now at school (started nursery at 9 months) and our little one is in the Baby room. Daily varied activities to stimulate the children, a lot of personalised and loving
care, a solid organization in the background: this nursery feels like family to us. They offer an extraordinary value for money (they have been awarded Outstanding by Ofsted) considering the prices of other nurseries in the area. We are very proud of all the achievements of these last years and couldn't recommend them highly enough.

My eldest son went to The Weir Link from 9 months until he left for school and he loved it. When we had our youngest a year ago, it was an obvious choice to go back. I was thrilled to see how much the nursery had come on under new management, but even more thrilled that some of the staff that my eldest
had loved were still there and now look after my youngest. The nursery space and garden are wonderful, the staff professional and I always feel like my son is as loved and cared for as he would be at home. That's all you can ask really!

The Weir Link is an outstanding nursery. We have been particularly impressed at the level of care given to all of the children by the staff - your child is truly treated as an individual rather than just a 'number'. The range of activities which the children partake in is really impressive and there
is a significant focus on children's development through learning and play, even at a very young age. We love getting the weekly updates of what the children have been up to and our 14 month-old daughter has come on leaps and bounds since starting at the nursery. We feel very lucky to have her at such a wonderful nursery!

We are very pleased with the Weir Link.


Our eldest daughter thrived there and is now doing well in reception academically and socially which in large part is because of the dedicated staff at the Weir Link and their complete focus on children and their development. The nursery improved a great

deal over the 4 years our eldest daughter was there and is now a very well functioning and organised place. The staff are friendly, open and most important of all, caring. They are clearly motivated and from the outside, it seems that they are made to feel valued by the nursery's management. I appreciate the child learning plans, the feedback to parents and the activities both indoors and outdoors. We had no hesitation in choosing to send our second daughter there from a few months ago and we are as pleased with the care she gets now as we were with our eldest.


It's nice to be able to get a chance to provide this feedback to the nursery and the staff: they're a class act.
