Weir Link Nursery & Pre-School

The facilities are great and activities varied and the real winner for us is the large outside space.

The nursery has a family feel. The management team are welcoming and always available. The nursery is small but the rooms are always set up well for the children to use. My son settled well, as everyone made me feel comfortable.

My toddler attends Weir Link Nursery and I can only sing its praises, especially due to the staff. The environment itself is great with a lovely outdoor play area and a close by playground and park. Every day there are different and interesting activities set up, so I feel my very inquisitive son gets ample opportunities to explore, be creative and learn. The wonderful staff is very caring and quick to communicate feedback on my son’s day and other relevant matters. The manager is also really great as she is always engaged with every child and is often in the room playing with all the kids. (My son’s previous nursery did not have this kind of engagement from the manager). Overall, we really lovely this nursery.

Both my children (boy and girl with very different personalities) go to The Weir Link and they really like it. Staff are kind and adapt to your child's personality and learning preferences to get the best out of them. Wouldn't go anywhere else!

I can only highly recommend Weir Link. The staff go above and beyond to truly understand my son and his needs at nursery. I believe they genuinely care about him and his development. I’m so lucky to have found this nursery!

My son has had a thoroughly enjoyable experience while at the Weir Link Nursery in Balham. From the planning and implementation of the activities provided, to the mental and physical development of my child. It has been exceptional. My son's verbal, listening and writing have improved significantly during his time at the nursery and as a result he is very happy and confident in himself.

My son has been in this nursery for over 7 months and I can see how he has developed his learning/social skills significantly. The staff is always very friendly and caring. I wish they could earn more money as they deserve it. I have also seen an improvement in its cleanliness since last year. I will recommend this nursery to friends and family as I feel that my son is very well looked after. Thanks.

We had both our kids at Weir Link. The current staff and the director and deputy director are great, showing so much care and dedication to the children. I was really touched by something that happened recently. Our small child had his finger trapped in a door and had to go to hospital for an operation. The deputy director phoned my wife twice in the evening, when her job was over, to inquire how our little one was doing. We were really impressed with how caring she was. The staff also thought carefully and prepared solutions how to protect our kid's hand when he returned to nursery. He is now all fine and very happy to be back.

Both our daughters are in Weir Link Nursery and are very happy there. Every day they are doing interesting activities and they both really enjoy going. Our youngest daughter only recently joined the baby room and it didn't take long for her to settle in. The teachers are always very friendly and you always get an informative account of your child's day at the end of the day. The children also really enjoy playing in the outdoor garden and the older children go on an occasional outing to the library, local shop or church. Both nursery teachers and management are very engaged working with the children and motivated and you really get the feeling they care a lot.

Amazing staff, my daughter is so happy and learning so much, great food menu, fresh, homemade and no sugar. Huge variation in learning activities, children are happy and inspired by what they get to learn. Great facilities both indoor and outdoor. The toddlers are being challenged on a daily basis. Staff are fantastic and offer great end of day feedback on how my daughter has done.

I'm really happy with the nursery in all Aspect. If I have to find something that could be improved I would suggest to don't change key persons so often. I believe kids need to build up a relation with the key person and any change means to start this build up from scratch.

Lovely friendly environment. Children are encouraged to try different activities through play and this enhances their learning. A varied and nutritious food menu on offer.

The nursery and teachers are fantastic, my son (2.5 years) and daughter (10 months) absolutely love it! Both have really blossomed, my son, in particular, has learned so much (including empathy, numbers and yoga!)

My daughter has been coming here for nearly two years now. She has made so much progress and loves going to nursery. She has made many friends here and I would thoroughly recommend The Weir Link Nursery to everyone!

Our son has been at Weir Link for a year now and absolutely loves going to nursery. The staff were quick the help us with some developmental issues which have now been addressed. The management team are brilliant and ensure their staff work to a consistent level. Keep up the good work.

With our eldest now at school, we are repeating the Weir Link journey with our youngest, who, having been there a matter of months is really blossoming under the care of the staff and brilliant management. Lately, my daughter has not wanted to leave, which speaks for itself! The staff know each child inside out and show the utmost care, going above and beyond. It is a wonderful nursery.

We currently have our second child at Weir Link and there was nowhere else we would have rather had her cared for after such a great experience with our first, who really blossomed in his time, setting him up perfectly for school.

My son has been at the nursery for over 18 months now (I think!) and he absolutely loves it. My daughter is signed up to begin in August and I know too that she will love it. We couldn't ask for more from the staff at the nursery. Regardless of any problem thrown at them, things run very smoothly indeed. My son's social skills, speech and early learning skills are more progressed than children I know of a similar age that do not attend such a good nursery. At drop off I always look in the kitchen and it is spotless! When perusing the newsletter I can see that they have a packed activity schedule and my son is always bringing home bits of art for us! When we ask the staff for help (potty training/stop biting other children etc.) they are very good at reinforcing what we are trying to do at home.

My grandson has attended The Weir Link Nursery from the age of 13 months to 3 years and 10 months. During his time there, I have witnessed his amazing progress and ongoing development under the care and supervision of a professional and extremely caring team. Although there have been several staff changes, the team has been led by the Nursery manager who has always shown passion for her job. Whenever I dropped off or collected my grandson from the Nursery, I was always made to feel welcome and kept informed of any necessary information. I look forward to experiencing their continued commitment when my granddaughter attends early in 2019 at the age of 11 months. Well done indeed and THANK YOU, The Weir Link Nursery!

Our kids have been attending this nursery since very early. We have seen the nursery grow and improve every year. The staff and direction have done outstanding work, and the result is there for everyone to see.
