LEYF - Weir Link Nursery & Pre-School

Couldn't be happier with your time at Weir Link Nursery. Our eldest has now moved on to primary school fully equipped for 'big school', but misses the amazing teachers at his old 'little school'. Our youngest is still there and having a whale of a time! Having been parents to children at the nursery for the last 3 years, it has been amazing to see the positive changes made. It was excellent before, but keeps getting better and better. The care is first class, and I'd do it all over again if we could, and our boys certainly would too!

Weir Link Nursery is such a fantastic setting! My son has been attending Weir Link since he was a baby and he has become such a confident preschooler. I can't thank them enough for all they did and continue to do for him, especially as we joined the nursery during Covid times, the support was and still is fantastic and the team goes beyond my expectations. I couldn't think of any other place for my child.

My granddaughter and grandson have loved their time at the nursery. They have been very well cared for in a loving and professional environment and they have always been involved in interesting projects. The staff over the years have been brilliant.

We have sent our children to three different nurseries in the area over the years, and Weir Link is our favorite. The warm, attentive staff are well-trained and relaxed, and develop strong bonds with the children. Management deserves a lot of credit for avoiding the type of high turnover you typically see at nurseries; senior staff have been there for a long time and seem to work well together. The nursery rooms are stimulating without being overwhelming or chaotic. The children learn skills (e.g. early literacy in the big kid room) and have a large choice of activities, with variety from day to day. It’s like a big family!

A wonderful experience for a mother who’s never done this before but now feels super comfortable and excited for Weir Link to care for my child! Thank you!

My son started and I have never felt so reassured. My son’s key worker is always so upbeat and puts my mind at ease. I am so happy I chose this nursery for my son. There were times I felt anxious because my son was very clingy. The staff did not mind me calling up to check how he was, they never made me feel like a burden.

Very friendly staff and a great experience for the children - they love going to nursery every day. They take them on school trips and have a varied curriculum. They hold events for the kids to come in and do things with their children which is such a lovely idea.

Such a lovely nursery. Our boy has been going for nearly 2 years and has really sweet connections with all the staff and some lovely friendships. It feels like a homely small nursery with a family vibe about it. He always comes home buzzing from an active day of doing all sorts of things. We often get comments about how talkative our boy is and how polite he is and that’s all from this nursery!

Great general teaching programme, exposure to multiple inspirations (my preferred was art), and individual approach when required - all make a great mix and inspire confidence.

Two of our children are at Weir Link Nursery and we have been so impressed with how above and beyond the teachers have gone for us over the years. They have helped not only our kids' development but also us as parents, guiding us through all the various phases that kids go through.

Weir Link is a fantastic nursery. The staff go over and above to create a lovely atmosphere which has served our children very well in their development. We would recommend the nursery to all parents.

The fact my son loves coming to drop and collect his sister shows the impact the nursery and staff have had on him!

The manager arranges so many fun activities for the children and the parents, we have had multiple activities to get involved with the children at the nursery. I really couldn’t recommend it more!

My son has been going to Weir Link Nursery for a year, and he's thriving. His language and social skills are developing fast, he has bonded with the staff, and he has made friends among the other children. I'm very pleased with the care he is receiving on a daily basis, and he seems quite happy as well!

Delighted with the quality of care and instruction our daughter receives, wonderful atmosphere, food smells great.

Our daughter has just transitioned between classroom's and whilst it was sad for us to leave the lovely baby room behind, our daughter has already settled into the new room (thanks to the gradual transition the team use) and is really enjoying her time. I would echo the other comments regarding a family feel but also emphasise the focus on development and tracking the progress the children make, the new online app has been a big step forward for this as well. We're looking forward to sending our second daughter here when the time comes.

We have been at The Weir Link for 2.5 years and our daughter is thriving there. The staff are very communicative and works with us continually on areas of development for our child. I would recommend this nursery to anyone.

The nursery is very good, with excellent management. Children are happy and the staff are well organised.
