Abbot's Hill Day Nursery & Pre-School is a purpose-built day nursery for children aged six months to four years. It is situated next to Abbot's Hill Prep School.

The modern and spacious nursery is contained over one level, provides children with free-flow access to the nursery's outside space and provides full day care, all year round.

Children have access to three main age-specific areas, all of which have resources that have been carefully selected to enhance learning and development.

I am the grandfather of a child at this nursery and deliver and collect him on a regular basis.
I have always found the staff extremely professional, highly customer focused and willing to offer help and advice. They are all to a person constantly thinking and working for the best interests of the
children in their care.
I particularly like and appreciate the time they set aside at collection time to discuss with each parent/relative face to face the activities, mood, eating behaviour and support offered that day or session. This is further supported and supplied with a hand over sheet.
I can honestly say that every member of staff and management I have met or spoken to are highly professional in their approach to child care.
The site itself is, without doubt, the best-equipped nursery I have come across.
I would highly recommend this nursery to any parent.

This nursery maintains an excellent level of child care, offers a nutritious and varied menu, encourages as much outdoor play as possible and really celebrates different events and cultures across the board. The staff are always friendly and genuinely care. My son has been going to this nursery since
the age of 6 months and he is now just a little over 2 and I have never had any issues. The parents evenings are informative and really give the parents a chance to discuss progress, and the updates on the app as well as the pictures make parents feel they are missing less of those special moments and have regular updates of how their child is progressing.

This is a wonderful nursery and we couldn’t recommend it more highly. Our daughter has thrived in this caring and nurturing environment. The staff are so friendly and kind, always have time and work collaboratively with us as parents.
Not once has our daughter not wanted to go to nursery and she speaks
so excitedly about her day when we pick her up.
Our other daughter starts at the end of the year and we can’t wait to see her enjoy everything her sister has so far. Well done to everyone at Abbot’s for making this such a wonderful little community.

We love this nursery, my daughter is in Stepping Up now and we will be so so sad to leave the nursery. She has loved her time here and we couldn’t be happier. All the staff are professional, caring and you can tell they really enjoy working with the children. We can’t recommend Abbot’s Hill Nursery

My daughter loves this nursery. I’m so glad we got space for her as it was fully booked when we moved into the area. She enjoys playing with her little friends and enjoys the ballet and music classes. The garden is beautifully looked after and safe to play there.

We are absolutely thrilled with how well our daughter has settled in to Abbot's Hill Nursery. The staff are all wonderful and always happy to see her, the nursery itself is always spotless and we only ever get smiles from our daughter when dropping her off. We love receiving updates on her progress
and are so pleased with how far she has come along since she started. The communication with parents is great and we are encouraged to tell the staff what she has been doing at the weekends so they can talk to her about her experiences and practice any new achievements when going back on Monday. The meals provided by the lovely cook are always nutritious and healthy, security is good and the staff clearly enjoy their roles. We couldn't be happier and would highly recommend every aspect of Abbot's Hill Nursery!

I could not recommend this nursery highly enough. They provide excellent care for my daughter. They have helped so much with her development and suggest activities we can do at home. I drop her each morning knowing she is going to have a fun-filled day in a safe caring environment.

We moved our daughter from her previous setting as I just wasn't happy with the structure in place for 'learning and development'. Choosing Abbots Hill Day Nursery was by far the best decision we made. Our girl, who has been in stepping up for almost a year, has come leaps and bounds and the staff are
always welcoming and always smiling. We were ecstatic when a space became available for our son to join footsteps and at drop off he walks in and goes about his nursery day as if it's his second home so I know he is happy there. The nursery management are also a fantastic team and again always available to help with any questions/ advice needed. Being able to see how my children spend their day and how they are developing according to the EYFS via the online app is also a huge plus and allows us to focus on specific areas at home. I cannot recommend this nursery enough.

I would wholeheartedly recommend Abbot’s Hill to other parents. My daughter started just shy of 10 months and the staff took great care to settle her and now she loves it there, often wandering off without so much as a goodbye to me these days. The variety and quality of the food on offer is fantastic
and the nursery cook took great care when helping with our daughter’s lactose intolerance. Having seen many other nurseries, I have not seen any which compare to Abbot’s Hill.

The staff at Abbots Hill Nursery and Preschool are great and always cared for my daughter. We've been with them since October 2016 and cannot find them fault. Every morning when we enter the nursery, the happy and energetic faces of the staff gives a very warm welcome and it gives us assurance that
the day is sorted. They show dedication and create a lovely, fun and warm environment for the children and they are true 'kid' lovers, and in my opinion, this is one of the most important characteristics for people working in a school setting.
My daughter has a clear affection for the staff and has bonded with everyone there.
When I pick my little one in the evening, her happy face speaks loud that she had a great day!
Thanks for everything that you do to look after my daughter.
I have no reservations about leaving my daughter in the care of this nursery and would recommend it to other families living in the area.

If there was the option to rate Abbots Hill Nursery higher than “excellent”, then we would! We are overwhelmingly pleased with all aspects of our daughters care over the past 8 months. Her development and learning has blossomed since starting in Tiny Toes and the staff are absolutely lovely.

We initially moved our daughter here after previously being disappointed with the nursery she was in. It was the best decision we’ve ever made. Having come from an environment where she was unhappy and no learning was applied she has now blossomed into the happiest child. She looks forward to going
into pre-school every day. She can write her name beautifully and brings home wonderful creations! We couldn’t be happier with her progress and how the wonderful staff have nurtured her.

I highly recommend Abbot’s Hill Nursery. My baby is very young, has started Nursery 7 months old but with the quality of the staff, brilliant menu, Nursery Management’s approach and attention to detail fot every child is amazing.
They track the development of every single child in a great way and as
parents we get the updates very regularly.

My daughter started at the nursery in November, she is only 2 but loves going and has never cried at drop which says it all really. I am so happy with the nursery, its set up really well, the staff are great and really friendly and I get updates what she's been up to regularly. Really pleased and

I have found Abbot's Hill to be a caring and comfortable environment for my girl who enjoys it immensely. It is well organised and has a balanced method of teaching making sure the children are enjoying the experience which I find very reassuring.
The staff are always very polite, positive and genuinely
caring towards the children and parents with a very good understanding of what is best for the children’s development.
I am very happy with the experience and would definitely recommend this school to other parents.

Our little girl, aged 2, is very settled and very happy at Abbot's Hill Nursery after joining in September 2018, following a year and a half at another nursery where things were nowhere as good! The premises and atmosphere at Abbot's is calm, clean, friendly and homely. The staff are professional yet
friendly and show genuine care. The fact that it's attached to the school is a bonus as the standard and quality is reflected at the nursery. The management are always responsive. Our little girl is content and we can't ask for more. We can't thank everyone at the nursery enough for how they care for our daughter.

Our daughter started in Tiny Toes at the end of last year. It was a hard transition, but the staff were amazing. They kept us informed and made us feel we could call and check in all day if we wanted! She loves going to nursery and her key worker really made an effort with us all. The staff are very
professional. She says the girls' names in Tiny Toes when she is not there! The management are always accessible and go that extra mile, which I think is really important. The nursery is so clean, this was a big factor when reviewing nurseries in the area. You can always tell by a child’s socks and even though she has had them on all day they are still clean! The outside space, sleeping arrangements and the vegetarian menu was a big factor in selecting the nursery. We were surprised that she slept as normal for naps and ate foods she hasn’t with us. Which is a big indicator of whether she was happy or not. Overall all we are extremely happy and have seen her development accelerate.

Sarah joined Abbot's Hill Nursery in September 2015, when the nursery was still being built, as Deputy Nursery Manager before taking over the role of Nursery Manager in June 2022.


Sarah is currently on maternity leave.

Bethany Yiallouros

Job Title: Deputy Nursery Manager Joined: 2015

Beth joined the Abbots Hill nursery in September 2015, just before the Nursery opened. She quickly took on the role of Tiny Toes (6m - 2y) Room Leader before taking on the role of Deputy Nursery Manager in June 2022.


Beth is currently covering the Nursery Manager role.

Ashlea Webb

Job Title: Tiny Toes Room Leader and Third in charge Joined: 2015

Ashlea joined the nursery in October 2015, working as a practitioner in the Footsteps (2-3y) room before receiving a promotion to Room Leader of Footsteps. In June 2022, she took over as Room Leader of Tiny Toes (6m - 2y) and Third in charge, deputising for the Nursery Manager and Deputy as required.


Ashlea is currently covering the Deputy Manager role.
