Abbot's Hill Day Nursery & Pre-School is a purpose-built day nursery for children aged six months to four years. It is situated next to Abbot's Hill Prep School.

The modern and spacious nursery is contained over one level, provides children with free-flow access to the nursery's outside space and provides full day care, all year round.

Children have access to three main age-specific areas, all of which have resources that have been carefully selected to enhance learning and development.

We are delighted to have found such a wonderful environment for our 18-month-old son to be in. As a parent, it is always a nerve-wracking experience leaving your child and returning to work but the staff at Abbot's Hill Day Nursery made the transition easy and it is so reassuring knowing our son is
so well looked after and cared for. He is constantly learning new things thanks to the time and effort of the staff and we love the paintings and cards he brings home too. Thank you for everything!

A very pleasing happy place to send your grandson to. The staff go above and beyond to meet every child’s needs. All members of staff there are excellent and very approachable. Will definitely recommend this nursery.

This is an outstanding nursery. Our eldest daughter started in the Tiny Toes room the week she turned 1. Initially, she found settling in difficult, having been born during lockdown, however the staff were just wonderful with her and within a couple of months we saw a huge change in her attitude towards
nursery. We have been impressed, day in and day out, since she started. She now asks to go in at weekends and is absolutely thriving there, now in Footsteps, and our youngest daughter joins in a few weeks. Staff at the nursery are kind and professional and very attentive to the children. It is a joy to see the children so happy at drop off and pick up every day. The activities and facilities at the nursery are also exceptional. The catering is of a very high standard too, with home-cooked food and a wide variety of snacks and meals. It is a safe, warm and educationally stimulating environment and we would urge anyone considering the nursery to view it and see how wonderful it is.

Our son has been at Abbots Hill Nursery since he was 9 months old and he has just turned 3 now. The staff are all very helpful and supportive, putting into place special plans to assist my son with his delayed speech and dietary requirements whilst we worked out and dealt with his intolerances.
My
daughter attended a few years prior and we were equally happy when she attended too. The fact that they have staff who have been there since the nursery opened is of comfort to parents also. The staff genuinely care about the children and you can see this reflected in the way the kids respond to and talk about all staff members as well as when parents drop off and collect their children.
The facilities are great and are always being refreshed and updated. 'Forest school' and the exploration walks are a particular favourite for our son.

Two of our daughters have been cared for in Abbots Hill Day Nursery & Pre-School since not long after they each turned 1. The care has always been truly brilliant. They have been given such kind, loving and wonderful care and have learned so much. The staff are both warm and professional and the nursery
is always innovating and finding new ways to engage and stimulate the kids. I always enjoy drop off and pick up, I always feel it is such a positive, safe and lovely place to be! The outdoor space is brilliant and they are always having so much fun playing out in the summer when I come to collect. I would recommend it without hesitation.

We are so happy with the quality of care that has been given to our son since he started in Tiny Toes in August. His key person is fantastic and she is so happy, kind and caring.
The staff in the room are always helpful and supportive.
The range of activities offered is wonderful and the room always
looks so inviting.
We love that our son often goes on walks around the school grounds and we get to see daily updates of what he has been up to.
The menus sound delicious and our son eats so well at the nursery.
We can't wait to see him flourish more over the next few years.

My daughter joined Abbot's Hill nursery a few months ago after we moved to the area and comes home so happy, talking about her fun day. The staff are superb, they have got to know our daughter so quickly, their communication is great - they will call about any concerns, email response is very speedy,
and they give a nice update at the end of the day. Our daughter speaks so fondly of her key worker (our extended family even know about her). The staff have picked up on development areas well, and that one on one advice and attention is impressive when they are managing many children. I cannot recommend Abbot's Hill nursery enough, the play activities are varied and the children go for walks in the impressive grounds. The picture updates during the week are so wonderful.

My son has been attending Abbots Hill Nursery since he was 9 months old. Two years on it is like a second home to him. Never did I imagine we’d have to weather a pandemic together. The management and staff at the nursery have been amazing throughout and have adapted so well. Communication throughout
the pandemic has been excellent and the safety but also the emotional well-being of the children has been a priority. The pandemic aside, the nursery provides an amazing inclusive environment for children to develop and thrive.

We have been very pleased with the level of care and attention to detail our child is receiving. At the start, our daughter took some time to settle in and the staff were excellent in making her feel happy and comfortable as well as regularly updating me. Now she can’t stop talking about nursery, her
friends and teachers. She is really excited to see everyone each morning! We have seen fantastic progress in all aspects educational, developmental and personal with our daughter and hope to send our son too this year!

We are so pleased that we found Abbot’s. Our daughter loves attending and we really enjoy hearing updates about her day and looking at pictures of her engaging in different activities and happily interacting with the staff. Communication from the nursery has always been excellent. Settling in was a
bit different for us due to lockdown but nursery staff really made the effort to get to know our daughter and she settled in really quickly which is a credit to the staff and their nurturing yet personalised approach. Thank you for all that you do!

Our son has attended Abbot's Hill nursery since he was a year old. Our experience of the nursery has been superb and our son has thrived, both physically and emotionally, in the nurturing and stimulating environment created by the staff. We were particularly impressed at the way in which the nursery

My son recently joined the nursery. We were so pleased with the level of care my daughter received when she attended 2016 - 2020, so we were really happy that we managed to secure a place for my son. He has settled in so well and runs into nursery smiling and laughing. It really does have a 'family'
feel. The range of facilities is superb and he enjoys all of the activities the staff work so hard to offer. His walking, speech and eating have all come on 'leaps and bounds' since starting in September.

This is an outstanding nursery. The staff, at all levels, are kind, helpful and put the welfare and happiness of the child ahead of all.
My daughter has some additional movement needs, which the staff are always considerate of, building her confidence and offering in-depth and careful feedback to
me. This has been incredibly helpful and made home/school consistency incredibly easy.
The facilities are outstanding and staff are always making improvements to ensure the best possible experience and outcomes for each child. My daughter is excited to go to nursery in the morning. I would highly highly recommend Abbots Hill to any parent.

Sarah joined Abbot's Hill Nursery in September 2015, when the nursery was still being built, as Deputy Nursery Manager before taking over the role of Nursery Manager in June 2022.


Sarah is currently on maternity leave.

Bethany Yiallouros

Job Title: Deputy Nursery Manager Joined: 2015

Beth joined the Abbots Hill nursery in September 2015, just before the Nursery opened. She quickly took on the role of Tiny Toes (6m - 2y) Room Leader before taking on the role of Deputy Nursery Manager in June 2022.


Beth is currently covering the Nursery Manager role.

Ashlea Webb

Job Title: Tiny Toes Room Leader and Third in charge Joined: 2015

Ashlea joined the nursery in October 2015, working as a practitioner in the Footsteps (2-3y) room before receiving a promotion to Room Leader of Footsteps. In June 2022, she took over as Room Leader of Tiny Toes (6m - 2y) and Third in charge, deputising for the Nursery Manager and Deputy as required.


Ashlea is currently covering the Deputy Manager role.
