Abbot's Hill Day Nursery & Pre-School

Both my girls have been a part of Abbots Hill Nursery and have been so happy during their time. A safe and warm environment with the best team. I never have any concerns and feel confident in their care and development of my child. The best start and highly recommend.

Our youngest started at Abbott's Hill in December. He loves his time in nursery and thoroughly enjoys his days there. The connection the staff have with the children is just wonderful, so warm, so nurturing and they really get to know and feed each child's preferences. The activities they plan are so much fun and engaging. His vocabulary has grown so much, in part due to his nursery days and we are very glad that we picked such a great nursery.

Our daughter absolutely loves going there and is always excited when it's a nursery day. In fact, there are times when she doesn't even want to come home because she's having so much fun! It's very reassuring as a parent to know she feels so happy, safe, and well looked after.

My son attends Abbotts hill; he has now done so for 7 months, during his stay he has developed his language skills, his confidence has grown and he has made best friends, it's nice to see how rapidly he's learning. I feel the nursery is very secure and safe, it has a beautiful layout for lots of outdoor play as well as fun activities indoors for rainy days. He comes home with lots of art and exiting things to tell me, his passion for books has grown further and I'm very happy with his development, that has been encouraged at nursery.

Our daughter absolutely loves going to nursery, she has developed so much since she started back in 2024. The staff are great and very supportive!! We have had a great experience with Abbots Hill nursery. The space and facilities are wonderful!! They have a great woodland area and plenty of space for the kids to explore.

Amazing nursery with outstanding childcare. I was slightly anxious at the beginning sending my 1 year old to a nursery. We started off with two short days and quickly realised how incredible their childcare is and didn't hesitate to increase number of days in no time. They take extra care and nurture them, I am also amazed by the activities they get kids involved with. Overall, great team out there and would strongly recommend to parents.

We currently have our second child attending AHS nursery. The staff are wonderful, always with a smile on their face. I feels reassured that my daughter is cared for, she loves going in and I get lots of updates with photos to show what an amazing variety of activities she gets up to such as finger painting, getting outside daily and learning about different celebrations from around the world. The food is a very high standard. My eldest daughter often tells me how much she loved attending there too. I know that there is a real focus on the child's happiness but equally a lot of care and attention is paid to development.

Brilliant nursery setting for my current two year old. The staff are so attentive and caring and we couldn't ask for a more nurturing environment for our child. They promote independence and identify areas where they can further our child's development. The art is creative and the activities are always well thought through to ensure fun and learning. We feel safe sending our child here and appreciate all the safeguarding measures that are put in place and feel that the whole process is transparent to parents.

My son moved to Abbots Hill when he was 2 after being at another local nursery. I have seen him really come out of his shell and he genuinely seems happy to be there. The staff are all wonderful and show that they care about the children. They helped him settle in and have been very supportive and patient with him. I can't recommend this nursery enough, my anxiety of leaving my little boy has been put at ease.

Abbots Hill Nursery is absolutely amazing! it's the place where the staff not only look after the children during the day, making them feel safe and happy, but they also help children to develop as independent personalities, teaching them languages, exposing them to music including showing them how classical music instruments should be used, teaching them about art and helping them to develop as well rounded individuals. The grounds are fantastic too, where the children are taken to the Woodland School to enjoy and appreciate the nature, they are taught about plants and animals and spend quite a lot of time outdoors running in fresh air. I cannot believe how lucky we are to have our child attend this nursery. An absolute gem!

This nursery is just amazing! The staff are incredible, the care and diligence and learning and fun that they inject into a normal day, every single day is second to none. I cannot recommend this nursery enough.

Our daughter is currently in Abbots Hill Nursery. From the moment we first viewed the nursery, we knew it was the perfect place for her. The staff are attentive, kind, creative and approachable. The activities that my daughter tell me about each day are extraordinary and they have developed her gross motor and language skills beyond what we could have imagined. Even something as stressful as potty training, was taken off our hands due to the hands on and experienced approach of the of the staff. I have been so impressed and I'm excited for baby no.2 to join this summer. Thank you all so much.

My daughter joined the nursery aged 3 after being with a childminder in a home setting, and I was a little anxious about her being in a bigger setting with more children and less communication between home and the nursery. I needn't have been! From day one I have been impressed with the friendly staff, calm atmosphere and the level of care and communication shown by all the staff at the nursery. Often her interests are picked up on and activities are designed to extend her learning and play. My daughter settled in extremely quickly and is very happy there.

The whole team are great and we wish we found it sooner. Our second will go later this year and couldn't be happier. Thanks and well done all

Are four year old loved the variety, care, friends she made and the staff

This is a fantastic nursery. My two children have attended since they were 8 months old and the staff in Tiny Toes are brilliant - approachable, friendly and reassuring. There are a wide variety of activities for children to be engaged with and they have developed so much in their time there. The food is brilliant and not many nurseries have their own chef. The facilities and grounds are exceptional and I would 100% recommend this nursery to others.
