Number 9 The Nursery

I'm really happy with the relationship that the colleagues have built with my son, they always update me when I collect him from nursery which is great to get to know what he has been up to for the day.

The daily observations of his learning with accompanying photos and app-based information about his daily schedule has really provided us with confidence and visibility. We are so happy that we made the decision to move our son to Number 9 and look forward to watching him develop and learn under their guidance!

And their war on plastics is incredible too.

Brilliant nursery, lots of activities, our child has a smile on her face every day she is there. Staff are really caring and the daily photo updates are a great touch.

My daughter left Number 9 in August 2019 to go to primary school. We have really enjoyed her going to this nursery. The staff and management are lovely and it is a really well run nursery. They do loads of activities with the children and my daughter was always happy to go. If you live in the area, go and visit and see for yourself, it really is a wonderful nursery.

Very good nursery, excellent education. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I have noticed good progress in my sons education. I do recommend this nursery, it's a very good place for children.

I would highly recommend this nursery. I was very nervous leaving my 6-month-old at nursery to begin with but instantly felt reassured once I saw how he reacted to the settling in sessions, and once I saw how nurturing, caring and kind the staff on the baby floor were - my son took to the floor manager and deputy manager immediately. The food is great and varied so the staff have therefore massively helped me with the weaning process. There are activities such as yoga and sing and sign - all of which I am convinced have educated my baby and helped make him more sociable and happy. The place is clean and tidy and there is a lovely big garden and a baby sensory room, so they have lots of space to keep them entertained throughout the day. I love that they use Eye Log - an app that logs the baby's naps, nappies and bottles, and can send you observations when your child learns a new skill - all of this leads me to believe that my son is getting the best care possible.

Very caring staff, my daughter has been very happy for almost two years. Many activities are planned on daily basis which helps kids to learn and be active and also be friendly with other kids.

I have nothing but praise for Number 9 and the staff are fantastic, caring and genuinely interested in our child's progression. He has loved every minute at Number 9, he has his favourite teacher. I had the pleasure of helping out on a school trip and it really did show me how much each staff member cares about the children and how attentive they are. I cannot recommend Number 9 enough. They are the perfect place for your child to develop and grow. We are sad to be leaving them in July and I know our little boy will miss them. Thanks for everything over the last 18 months.

My son has been attending this nursery from 9 months and I am very happy with the way he is being taken care. They have a very lovely setting in the baby room and lots of fun activities. My son always looks forward to go to the nursery. The staffs are very friendly and caring. I would highly recommend this nursery

I have nothing but amazing things to say about this nusery, I don't think that I can fit it all in this box! In summary, both my children and I think that Number 9 is a great place to be and they are so happy and settled there. I can't thank the staff enough for their detailed planning and care, we will be sad when it's time to go to big school.

My ten months old son started at Number 9 a month ago and I can’t thank the team in the Baby room enough, especially one staff member who my son has taken a shining to!

I love the daily eyLog updates and daily reports. The set-up is fantastic to develop and nurture the children's development.

We know our child is loved and cared for and couldn’t ask for more.

We sent our son to a different nursery and Number 9 is leaps and bounds above that one.

I will be sad when she leaves - could not recommend them enough.

Outstanding staff who go above and beyond their duty set within wonderful facilities. As a first time Mum who was sceptical about nurseries but I was made very welcome when my son started and instantly put at ease. I have a brilliant relationship with his key workers and am updated daily on his routine/food/sleep/nappies, and sometimes with pictures too which is a lovely touch. My son has developed so much since starting at Number 9 and I strongly believe it is due to their fantastic care and commitment towards every child to reach their full potential. The only limitation of the nursery is that it is located in a part of Croydon that gets very busy during rush hour, and the parking structure is stressful, particularly during peak times. That said, the nursery does their best to minimise the issue by urging parents to follow parking regulations but it is often ignored. This is such a small flaw in the grand scheme of things and does not take away from the brilliance of this establishment.
