Number 9 The Nursery

Reflecting on the solidarity and cooperation from all members of staff when issues emerged with experiences of my child change of behaviours "Terrible two's" - I was made to be better equipped which allowed me to be prepared to use suggested techniques on how best to deal with incidents. Maintaining structure in and outside nursery has eased a lot of stresses that could have easily become out of control without this much-needed guidance, as a first time Mother. I wish to thank the team graciously for their endeavours.

since the start. We love the one to one every term with the staff discussing progress and highlighting areas they have of concern. The play areas are superb and are designed to encourage play without jeopardising individual freedom of expression. Toys are shared and time is given for one to one tuition in writing and simple maths, particularly in preschool. The nursery deserve their "outstanding" rating from Ofsted, justifying what parents and guardians already know about this wonderful nursery. Quite simply it's a perfect place for children.

Brilliant nursery all round. The staff have been really accommodating as my children were stuck without a nursery after a closure. Staff are lovely and really attentive to the children's needs and they are always smiling.

Since starting preschool my child has learnt so much. The focus on helping the kids prepare for school is excellent.

I'm really happy with the relationship that the colleagues have built with my son, they always update me when I collect him from nursery which is great to get to know what he has been up to for the day.

The daily observations of his learning with accompanying photos and app-based information about his daily schedule has really provided us with confidence and visibility. We are so happy that we made the decision to move our son to Number 9 and look forward to watching him develop and learn under their guidance!

And their war on plastics is incredible too.

Brilliant nursery, lots of activities, our child has a smile on her face every day she is there. Staff are really caring and the daily photo updates are a great touch.

My daughter left Number 9 in August 2019 to go to primary school. We have really enjoyed her going to this nursery. The staff and management are lovely and it is a really well run nursery. They do loads of activities with the children and my daughter was always happy to go. If you live in the area, go and visit and see for yourself, it really is a wonderful nursery.

Very good nursery, excellent education. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I have noticed good progress in my sons education. I do recommend this nursery, it's a very good place for children.

I would highly recommend this nursery. I was very nervous leaving my 6-month-old at nursery to begin with but instantly felt reassured once I saw how he reacted to the settling in sessions, and once I saw how nurturing, caring and kind the staff on the baby floor were - my son took to the floor manager and deputy manager immediately. The food is great and varied so the staff have therefore massively helped me with the weaning process. There are activities such as yoga and sing and sign - all of which I am convinced have educated my baby and helped make him more sociable and happy. The place is clean and tidy and there is a lovely big garden and a baby sensory room, so they have lots of space to keep them entertained throughout the day. I love that they use Eye Log - an app that logs the baby's naps, nappies and bottles, and can send you observations when your child learns a new skill - all of this leads me to believe that my son is getting the best care possible.

Very caring staff, my daughter has been very happy for almost two years. Many activities are planned on daily basis which helps kids to learn and be active and also be friendly with other kids.

I have nothing but praise for Number 9 and the staff are fantastic, caring and genuinely interested in our child's progression. He has loved every minute at Number 9, he has his favourite teacher. I had the pleasure of helping out on a school trip and it really did show me how much each staff member cares about the children and how attentive they are. I cannot recommend Number 9 enough. They are the perfect place for your child to develop and grow. We are sad to be leaving them in July and I know our little boy will miss them. Thanks for everything over the last 18 months.

My son has been attending this nursery from 9 months and I am very happy with the way he is being taken care. They have a very lovely setting in the baby room and lots of fun activities. My son always looks forward to go to the nursery. The staffs are very friendly and caring. I would highly recommend this nursery

My daughter loves the nursery, the staff are amazing and take good care of my daughter. Ever grateful to the nursery nurses and the team for being rockstars... Thank you so much... Keep up the great job...!!!!

My son will start school in September and we will miss Number 9 greatly. I can not recommend it highly enough.

My daughter, my family and I are very happy with the nursery, we’ve been blessed being part of such a great and warm place. All the stuff are very friendly and never get tired of being so so kind. I have nothing but amazing things to say about this nusery, I don't think that I can fit it all in this box! In summary, both my children and I think that Number 9 is a great place to be and they are so happy and settled there. I can't thank the staff enough for their detailed planning and care, we will be sad when it's time to go to big school.
