Learning Journeys Daycare opened in July 2015. The building was previously used as a doctors surgery and was lovingly transformed into a clean, bright and stimulating term-time only nursery making it the perfect choice for students and teaching professionals.

The nursery consists of three main rooms which are babies, toddlers and pre-school. All rooms have level three qualified room leaders that are up to date with their first aid, safeguarding and food hygiene.

All staff also hold several additional qualifications that enables them to enhance their own practice and therefore facilitate each child's learning and development according. learning journeys daycare prides itself on providing the very best care for each and every child, and they are always looking for new ways to develop professionally.

Learning Journeys Daycare also provide a breakfast and after school club for children up to the age of eight years.

From the day our child started at the daycare the staff were welcoming and friendly towards myself and my child. He settled in immediately and has made lots of friends. Communication has always been excellent, any bumps or scrapes have always been reported promptly and nothing has ever seemed to be
too much trouble. We are happy with the progress he has made throughout his time here. I would highly recommend this daycare. Thank you to all of the staff for all your hard work and kindness.

My 3-year-old son has been attending this nursery for several months and is a completely different child, which is all thanks to the staff that are very helpful and supportive. Always updated with my son’s progress. Management is very easily approachable and always helpful. I would highly recommend.

My son has been at this nursery since he was 2 years old. The staff here have been amazing and he has come on in leaps and bounds since he has started. I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone.

My child has been attending the nursery for 2 years. In the baby room, all was going well and he seemed to be developing well. My son was moved into the toddler room and the problems started. These include -
1 - Staff sitting around on iPads, children unsupervised at times,
2 - My child was hurt by
another child whilst playing, staff unable to give clear reasons why and classed it as an accident which I disagreed with.
3 - Nursery closed without prior notice or any communication.
4 - Owner and management never round to see parents.

Myself and my son love the nursery. They have taught him lots and helped me with trying him with different and healthier food. The staff are very friendly and always helpful. But I do think they should give leaflets/newsletters out regarding trips etc rather than calling up for information.

Since starting in 2018 my son has grown so much he really enjoys coming and asks every day is it nursery today? The workshop they do are great fun and it is nice to see how much fun they all have.

My little boy has moved here from a different nursery and what a big difference it has made to his confidence and how happy he is. All the staff are friendly and can discuss my child's progress with ease. My child's language has progressed so much in such a short space of time and has started to tell
us all about his day. The nursery has great resources and parents are always involved. We love Learning Journeys.

I find the nursery staff very friendly and welcoming. They are very open and I feel I can talk to them about anything relating to my grandson. Activities and education are very good. This Learning Journey really good achievement all key workers are perfect. My daughter really likes to come to nursery. Most welcoming to parents. My daughter came when she was two years old. We will truly miss this nursery in September.
