The Vineyard Organic Day Nursery

All three of my children have attended the Vineyard Organic Day Nursery over the last 5.5 years and they have all thrived. The staff are fantastic and there is a wonderful range of activities on offer. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this nursery!

We are delighted with our choice of nursery and this is borne out by the fact that our 16 month old daughter gets excited as soon as we turn the corner into the street that the nursery is on and she leaps into the arms of teachers when she gets there. She remains as excitable and happy when we come to pick her up in the evening. That says it all! The teachers are kind, sympathetic, empathetic and enthusiastic; more to the point, we trust them to look after our daughter (and our son before her). The activities seem fun and varied; the food appears appetising; the atmosphere is welcoming, but professional. Frankly we could not be happier and it's difficult to fault. The Vineyard Organic Day Nursery appears to be very well run and the fact that staff retention appears to be very solid is an excellent indicator.

Our daughter has been attending the nursery for 16 months now and has the best time every day. She is thriving in the environment, has made lots of friends, and loves her caregivers. We are so proud of the kind, funny, inquisitive and determined little girl she is becoming, and it is in no small part thanks to all the staff at the Vineyard. They take such great care of her and make sure every day is fun, and that she is developing at her own pace.

The vineyard is a really excellent independent nursery. Teachers and facilities are fantastic and our girls love their time there every day. Recent investment has gone into the buggy storage and other areas of the nursery and a rich program of activities is constantly in place.

Wonderful staff, happy kids! My twins started this Nursery when they were 2.5 year-old until they started reception. They didn't know any English when they started, but with their help and their caring environment, they had such a wonderful start, which i think had affected their education life.

My daughter has been going to Vineyard Organic Day Nursery for a year and half and is very happy there. Since she started there's been a change of management and since then I can see they've really stepped it up. There's a real emphasis on making the environment best for the children and there's clearly a lot of thought that goes into it. Seeing what my daughter has got up to at nursery on the app is wonderful to see and it's been great to see her development over time. She enjoys an array of activities from regular baking, gardening, singing with a singing teacher/musician, Playball, even making slime. Whilst the outdoor space is undeniably limited they make it work hard, plus with outdoor trips they do get to stretch their legs... they even went to visit the horses! I would honestly not hesitate to recommend this nursery and will actually be a little sad when it's time for my daughter to leave! The teachers are all incredibly kind and make so much effort. This nursery is a real gem!

The kitchen menu was enriched, and they had loads of various fruits daily, also yoghurt very often.

My son has been at the nursery for almost a year and he started when he was 8 months old. The headteacher and staff are very kind, professional and really care about every child in the nursery. They foster creativity and independence and since my son has started nursery he has developed really well! He really loves going there every day and I cannot recommend this nursery enough!

Our daughter has been attending the nursery for nearly a year, and we highly recommend it to other parents. She has demonstrated great progress, and it is evident that she enjoys her time there. We appreciate the regular updates on her daily activities, such as French lessons, music, painting, and baking. The teachers are dedicated and passionate about their work, providing exceptional care for our child. We have spoken with other parents in the neighbourhood, and they share our positive sentiments. The Head Teacher has demonstrated exceptional leadership and a genuine commitment to children's development and growth. We can't thank everyone enough for taking such outstanding care of our daughter.

We are sad to be leaving The Vineyard Organic Day Nursery, as our daughter is going into reception, and she has been so happy at the nursery. She has made wonderful friends, she has loved her helpers, she has blossomed there, and we have been delighted. Our heartfelt thanks to the team for their love, care, patience, and teaching. The learning environment, plus the variety of what they have offered has been amazing. We will miss them.

Really lovely independent nursery. Our daughter always has the best day and does an amazing range of activities that she absolutely loves. The staff are great, always happy to see you and very caring and hands-on.

Both of our kids have gone to this nursery for the past 6 years. The teachers have been amazing and so welcoming from day 1. The nursery has always been great but with new management it became exceptional. The range of activities have kept our little ones entertained but also continuously learning new things and concepts. The languages, singing, art activities, visits outside nursery and discussions around events happening around us that are current and relevant have been fantastic and stimulating. I could always depend on the teachers at this nursery to be kind, inclusive and instil a sense of confidence in our kids. App updates (where a parent can see and watch the activities the kids are doing during the week) always brought a smile to our face and allowed us to see our kids in action. Can't rate this nursery high enough.

The facilities are great. The outside space is small (given its central Richmond) but the kids still have lots of fun out there.

Overall, we couldn't be happier with our choice of nursery. Our twins are thriving, and we highly recommend this wonderful institution to any parent looking for a caring and enriching environment for their children.

One drawback is the limited outdoor space. Fair play to them - the nursery does the best with what they have, be it for play and gardening. To compensate, they also take the children on visits and walks to local green spaces. That said, it's the obvious downside.

My child has been at this nursery since May 24, and they really love going in every day. I can see how much they are learning and how far they have come in all aspects of education, personal skills and confidence. The staff are very attentive and give great personal feedback at the end of the day!

We chose this nursery for our three children. We've been really happy, and are pleased with the new manager, and the outdoor trips starting up again to make up for the smaller outdoor space. For the space they have though, they make the most of it and children go out in small groups, play on bikes and grow fruits and vegetables. Each of our children has been happy there and we really like the app which was introduced fairly recently so we can see what our daughter is doing. We also like the introduction of playball and Spanish lessons for the children. There are really loving and caring staff too! We can see how much our daughter is developing there too.

My child has been at the Vineyard Nursery for a year, and is very happy there. I am writing a review now, as there has been a change in management at the nursery, and most reviews I have seen are years old. Hopefully this gives some more up-to-date information for prospective parents. The new Head Teacher has transformed the nursery's approach - the team working there have low turnover, are happy, and the children adore them. They have structured activities throughout the day, even in the baby room. Often I hear they have been baking, painting, creating with plasticine, themed weeks etc. The nursery has limited outdoor space. The children still go into this for play and gardening - but the nursery now also takes the children out on visits and playtime in local green spaces. All food is cooked in-house with good variety. The nursery shares detailed information on my child's personal development via an app, including photos - as well as daily updates on pick-up.

The outside space is a bit small and I just would love to see more pictures of their day-to-day activities.
