Cliffe House Day Nursery Featherbank & Out of School Club

This is a great nursery. There are multiple rooms so the children are in the rooms with kids of the same age group (I think there are 4 rooms in total) I worried about my baby sleeping but they allow sleeping whenever they need it and however they can (i.e pram, rocking, chair,cot, bottle before etc). The meals are nutritious. The staff are friendly. My baby has developed a lot whilst being here and he has had fun in the process.

Nursery staff at Featherbank have always been welcoming and friendly, but especially so following the death of my husband where staff have been extremely kind and flexible in caring for my daughter and talking with me about how best to help her.

My son started at Cliffe House in April 2015 and I have been extremely happy with how well he has developed in his time there.

All of the staff are extremely helpful, proactive and supportive and he has made some great friends. The staff have supported and encouraged his potty training and regularly provide updates on his progress. They are only too happy to discuss any issues or concerns we have and answer any questions.

On the rare occasion when he has had an accident they are extremely quick to contact us and in his early days when he was adjusting to the move from his Child Minder they were happy for us to ring at regular intervals to check on his progress.

He regularly talks about the Manager and all the staff have clearly had a positive influence on him throughout his time at Cliffe House. The food and the facilities both inside and outside are excellent. I would highly recommend Cliffe House to anyone.

Making the decision to return to work part time and source good quality childcare was not a decision we took lightly. After considering several options, we can safely say that Featherbank ensures that our daughter is in safe, creative, intuitive and caring hands.

This is a fantastic nursery setting; my daughter always has lots of fun and the staff always provide a range of activities for the children to take part in and there's lots of outdoor play too. My daughter is always bringing home special gifts and cards she's made at Christmas, Mother's Day, Father's Day etc...

All the staff are lovely and caring and very professional. The meals provided are fantastic, healthy and home made and my daughter loves the food provided.

I am really happy with the nursery - the staff are caring and conscientious and always volunteer information about how my daughter has got on during the day. The children often do craft activities and learn about the wider world as well as playing outside. My daughter enjoys the food and eats well. The nursery is really well run and provides a welcoming environment for both children and parents/carers.

I cannot recommend this nursery enough. My son 4 yrs has been attending since April and really enjoys his time here. Every morning he can't wait to set off to nursery which is great to see and he never wants to leave. The staff are all great and tell me what he has been up to throughout the day. My son has speech and communication difficulties and the senco leader does one to one sessions throughout the week to help him and other children. He is showing lots of progress and it's down to the support of the fab staff, thank you.

Our son came to Cliffe House at 10 months old and has thrived under their care. He absolutely loves attending and gets really excited when he realises we've arrived. The staff are really friendly and genuinely care for all the children.

The nursery menu is perfect my little boy eats everything during his time at nursery. The partnership with parents is really good. I have had handouts of homework and observations to do at home with my little boy which I love doing with him. We get excellent feedback on a daily basis about how his day has been, the staff are very approachable and offer advice and guidance/support if needed. Myself and his Daddy are both very happy with the care he gets at Cliffe House and highly recommend this nursery to our friends.

Fantastic nursery with positive, attentive and caring staff who go out of their way to care for our child. They make sure the children are happy and find incredible and fun activities every day.

I currently have two children attending this nursery and could not recommend it highly enough.

I have a daughter in the baby room who has recently moved to the toddler room. The staff in both these rooms are fabulous, warm, very caring towards the children. I really did not want to leave my baby but the lovely manner that they had made me feel at ease. My shy baby has become a very confident toddler in the past few months largely thanks to the excellent care she has had there. At first I did not want to leave her but now I'm happy leaving her as I know she has a great time.

I also have a daughter in the pre school room. This room is a fabulous transition between nursery and school. She has done a number of projects which she has loved - for example mini beasts - and really enjoys coming home and telling us all about it. She learns so much in a fun way, the staff are marvelous and she has made a lovely friendship group.

Overall I would recommend this nursery.

Cannot fault this nursery at all. Both my children attend here and love it. They have flourished in a clean and safe environment; are learning every day; and have formed close bonds with the lovely staff.

Really happy sending my 2 year old to this nursery, I go to work knowing he enjoys himself and is well looked after. Staff are very approachable and confident in their job. They also seem happy to be there. Lovely outdoor play area and big clean rooms with lots of activities. Excellent variety of food. Wouldn't consider my child going anywhere else.

I couldn't recommend the nursery highly enough.

The staff are all friendly and approachable and we have been very pleased with the care she has received there.

It's a lovely environment and she has thrived in their care. Food could be a bit healthier (less puddings!).

Cliffe House is the best nursery setting I have experienced. The staff are friendly and show interest, care and understanding. The outside play area is amazing and inside is bright light and full of fun and learning. There is a friendly family feel and my son loves going - he especially loves the home made food from the cook :-)
