Cliffe House Day Nursery Featherbank & Out of School Club

My son loves this nursery he is always excited to come and play with his friends and the fantastic ladies in his room!

Can't recommend highly enough. Staff were excellent in getting our daughter to settle in when she changed from a different nursery when she was 3. Facilities are great, she eats way more than she'll eat at home, and she's made some lovely friends.

This nursery has been great for our son, his confidence has really grown and he is really coming on. The staff have gone above and beyond to look after him to make him feel comfortable and secure.

Both my children have attended Cliffe House. The staff cannot do enough. They're very friendly and professional. They have become like a second family.

My daughter started at the nursery 6 months ago and is really enjoying it. The team couldn't have been more helpful during the settling in period which started off quite difficult as my daughter used to get quite upset at first. She is now coming on leaps and bounds in terms of development and is really confident. She also loves the food. I would highly recommend to any other parents.

I couldn't imagine sending my son to any other nursery. I looked round many and knew he would be looked after here. There is so much care and attention given to each child, and the daily update sheet gives an insight into his day of all the fun things he’s got up to. They cater for planned activities specifically suited to the children's own interests. I have never had a moment of doubt whether this was the best place for my child. He has only attended for a short while but has settled in fantastically and that is down to how welcoming and attentive the staff are.

The staff at the nursery are fantastic and in a short amount of time they completely understand my son’s personality and his cues. He was very clingy to me when he first started going but will now happily go to any member of staff. There is a good variety of activities and my son is always happy when I pick him up. The staff are all so lovely and I’m really happy with how they are looking after my son.

This nursery is a very well run nursery, all the staff from room workers, kitchen and management always have a smile on their faces and are always polite and professional. In every aspect, I am pleased with how they provide for my child and will happily put my youngest there when the time comes.

Our son has been at this nursery for nearly three years and during that time he has flourished, which is down to the staff and the nurturing environment at Cliffe House. He absolutely loves it there.

Cliffe House has been fantastic since day one and everyday since. All the staff clearly love working with children and ensure a safe and exciting care/learning environment. The setting is completely child centred, recognising and working creatively with different abilities and personalities. Great support and communication with parents too.

Our son has been at the nursery for the last 2.5 years. We have always been happy with the care given and the teaching/support he has received. The staff are really friendly and make sure to get to know each child’s individual needs and preferences. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the nursery to others.

Superb provision, both girls are developing well, great staff and my children are happy and safe. As a Headteacher, I would recommend this setting to any parent and have both trust and confidence in the staff to care for my children.

I am highly impressed with this setting. The staff are amazing and very professional. They take time to make sure my child is happy and always update me on her day. They are exceptional at helping children learn and my child has come on leaps and bounds since attending this nursery /pre-school setting since September 18. I would highly recommend it to any friends or family. It has a very welcoming feel and is exceptionally clean. The green room upstairs is amazing. They are always learning and playing. My daughter constantly talks about preschool. The staff in the green room are brilliant and I could not ask for better people to take care of our daughter. The staff are a credit to Cliffe House. The meals that they have are nutritious and well balanced. They have been brilliant in assisting my child with her health needs also and have worked with me closely to discuss her care plan. I am happy that they address my child’s needs and they go above and beyond when caring for her.

Amazing nursery setting and staff! My son has been happy at Cliffe House Day Nursery Featherbank for 3 and a half years. Would recommend to anyone looking for a friendly, safe, professional and fun nursery for their child. My son has learnt so much since he has been going there and we are both very happy!

I've found the nursery very helpful. I work 24/7 shifts and they have bent over backwards to be flexible where feasible which has, in essence, meant I can remain in my current job, after a change in my shift pattern nearly meant childcare would be impossible. As for my little girl, she is a home bird who often gets upset being away from me but staff adapt to her and handle her brilliantly. She is never anything less than happy all day in their company. This is evident from her bond with staff and photos I see.

Cliffe House Featherbank has only been open a year and the facilities are fantastic, everything is so bright and clean. Brandon (13 months) has been attending for two months now and I've already seen him come on leaps and bounds - socially, and also in the way he plays and eats. He clearly enjoys his time at nursery, doing lots of messy play and fun activities - so far we've had several paintings, cards, a cake and a plant - as well as playing with all the toys and having lots of cuddles! The staff are wonderful with him and follow my various requests about naps and bottles to the letter. We also had a course of medicine to take one week which was absolutely no problem. He loves the food - eats pretty much everything, I've taken a few recipe cards for home. Every day we get a sheet that outlines his food/milk intake, naps, nappies and activities. I really value this, plus the grandparents love to read up on what he's been doing! Great start Featherbank, long may it continue!

The staff are so welcoming, understand the individual needs of each child. They welcome the whole family, taking time to learn about older siblings which was wonderful, helping everyone to settle in. They cannot do enough for us. No request is too much. Thank you.
