Child First Aylesbury Pre-School, located near the town centre and close to local bus and train services, works in collaboration with parents to achieve the very best outcomes for children.
The holistic curriculum uses open-ended resources to inspire curiosity and encourage deep, meaningful learning.

Here at Child First Aylesbury Pre-School, aim to foster responsibility, independence, self-awareness, and resilience through first-hand experiences and learning through play. Children are supported in becoming independent learners, taking part in daily tasks such as self-serving, washing up after snacks, and preparing their own food, including cutting fruit and vegetables.

Outdoor exploration is a key priority at the pre-school. Children enjoy the recently renovated garden and take part in regular Forest School sessions, where they learn to take appropriate risks and develop an understanding of fire safety by helping to make campfires and toast special treats.

The Helicopter Stories programme enhances creativity and listening skills and plays a crucial role in building confidence, supporting effective communication and language development. Weekly outings to the local library or supermarket further enrich children’s learning - whether choosing ingredients for science experiments or discovering new stories to enjoy together.

Open Monday to Friday, 8:00–18:00, the pre-school cares for children aged 2 years 9 months to 5 years.

My little girl has attended preschool since she turned three. She has such a great time there, she asks to go every day. She has made amazing bonds at preschool with her keyworker, piers and all the staff. Child First has always provided her with such great opportunities to learn she has even learnt
some Spanish!
I definitely recommend Child First Pre-school. My daughter is thriving there.

My grandson attends this Preschool and is very happy here. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. The feedback is very good and I always hear in detail about what my grandson has been up to, throughout the day.
They carry out cooking activities with the children, which he loves and is so excited
to bring it home.
A wide range of activities are carried out and he gets to do the especially messy ones here (which he thoroughly enjoys). The preschool is very spacious with an amazing space outdoors.
There is good communication between the preschool and parents and at the end of each week, I hear about all the exciting things my grandson has been up to. There are also activities and songs that I can do at home and continue with what he has been learning.

This is my third child to use Child First and I would not use any other setting. My child is happy and well engaged through creative and tailored experiences. The staff are friendly and my child is happy around them. There is constant communication and feedback which ensures I am always well informed
of what has happened throughout the day. There are individual ideas of how to help progress a development target at home and creative ideas of how to encourage progress at home.

Both my granddaughters went to this preschool and they both loved it. They always talk about what they have done and all their friends and they love the staff.
I have been there a few times and there is plenty for all to do and the staff are always there, ready to help them enjoy all they want to do.

Since starting at Child First Preschool, my son's confidence has grown. He has formed a strong bond with his key person and often talks about her. There is a vast range of exciting activities available daily and he is always excitedly telling me what he has learnt. If often receive lovely observations,
showing what my son has been up to and how he is progressing in his development. I would highly recommend this preschool and also the kind, caring and dedicated staff.

I really adore our nursery. The staff are caring and very responsive and supportive. My daughter loves going there, from the very first day. I like day organisation, feeling of safety for my kid there, adaptation sessions, space and activity organisation, and yes, food is incredible!

My daughter has been attending since she turned 3, and was previously attending the nursery. I love the Child First environment! My daughter also absolutely loves the staff. Since starting the pre-school, she has blossomed into such a caring, charismatic and a happy child and I believe Child First has
made a massive contribution to ensuring this. We will miss the staff and children dearly. Thank you very much Child First.

This is a fantastic preschool. All the staff are welcoming and approachable but also pay attention to detail. They have supported my child to become more independent and encouraged her to learn throughout her time there.

My son has been with Child First for 2 years and moved over to the preschool in August. Since then, he has come on in leaps and bounds with his speech and interaction with other children and adults. This is down to the fantastic staff in the setting. They take the time out to understand my son's needs
and support Dad and me with behaviors. The staff are all very caring and have a great relationship with my son and the other children. The food is also a big hit, with it being cooked in house by a fantastic chef.

My son has been attending Child First Nursery since he was eight months old. He will be four this month (November). He has always loved attending the nursery, he has made lots of friends and the staff are friendly and happy. His older brother also attended the nursery from eight months up until he reached
school age, he is now seven years old.
I would definitely recommend Child First to friends and family members!

Since my daughter has been going to Child First Pre School she has come on leaps and bounds on both development and confidence. This is largely down to the time she spends at Child First. The staff are caring and manage to spend quality time with each child. All staff know all the children's names which
is great to see. The kitchen staff are equally as brilliant. My daughter enjoys the food and as soon as anyone walks into the canteen/kitchen area you are greeted nicely.
All in all, if myself and my wife decide to have any more children they will 100% be going to Child First, I will also gladly recommend the preschool to any of my family or friends.

Child First was the best preschool for my little boy. He started preschool in January 2017 and now he is ready for reception. All the staff is friendly and approachable and always do the best on meeting mine and my son's needs. The preschool is a big and open space with a lot of activities so that all
children can find what they like and learn things through games. It has a nice outside space that they can play in the sun. My son loved it there and whenever we pass in front of the preschool he always goes and says hello to them. I would definitely recommend the preschool to others.

My little boy left Child First this year to start school and I am so grateful for everything the staff have done for him! They’ve prepared him for starting school and he still can’t get over that he won’t be going back to preschool! He loves all of the staff and every day he would come back from preschool
talking about all of the exciting things they’ve done for the day! I would highly recommend Child First to any child and parent because my boy has had the most amazing 2 years there!

Lovely nursery. My daughter attended from 2013-2016 and did so well at both the nursery and preschool. Now my son attends, started in April 2017 and he is thriving there. I love that staff upload pictures onto the tapestry app. The staff genuinely care. They are always happy to chat. They are friendly.
I thought the nursery was great when my daughter attended but feel it is even better now. The only thing I think would help me personally would be name badges for the staff and even though I know them I don’t know all their names. But this is only a minor thing, everything else is great. Also, I’d like to add that my son is a terrible eater at home but eats loads and often two helpings at nursery.

The first time I walked into the nursery, I had a really good impression and this has never changed.
The staff and the management team at the front desk are very good, they listen and help all the time.
Each time I pick up my son, I receive feedback on how he was during the session, and how engaged
he was. I can't fault this place. A big thank you to you all.
