Child First Aylesbury Pre-School, located near the town centre and close to local bus and train services, works in collaboration with parents to achieve the very best outcomes for children.
The holistic curriculum uses open-ended resources to inspire curiosity and encourage deep, meaningful learning.

Here at Child First Aylesbury Pre-School, aim to foster responsibility, independence, self-awareness, and resilience through first-hand experiences and learning through play. Children are supported in becoming independent learners, taking part in daily tasks such as self-serving, washing up after snacks, and preparing their own food, including cutting fruit and vegetables.

Outdoor exploration is a key priority at the pre-school. Children enjoy the recently renovated garden and take part in regular Forest School sessions, where they learn to take appropriate risks and develop an understanding of fire safety by helping to make campfires and toast special treats.

The Helicopter Stories programme enhances creativity and listening skills and plays a crucial role in building confidence, supporting effective communication and language development. Weekly outings to the local library or supermarket further enrich children’s learning - whether choosing ingredients for science experiments or discovering new stories to enjoy together.

Open Monday to Friday, 8:00–18:00, the pre-school cares for children aged 2 years 9 months to 5 years.

Very good experience with the pre-school. My child's primary carer is very sweet and very friendly. My child loves her teacher. All the staff at the pre-school are very friendly and my child has grown a lot mentally and without us having to do a lot. Her behaviour is very friendly with other kids and
she has learned all the good manners. So five-star out of five-star to the pre-school, all teachers and staff.

Beautiful nursery. The staff are so welcoming. The manager has offered loads of support since my daughter started, sharing knowledge that I didn’t have and supporting me step by step. She has a lovely team who are always friendly, well-trained and the nursery always looks lovely with lots of fun things
for the kids to do!

We have been with the preschool for nearly two years. The staff always provide lovely activities for the children and you can tell they are passionate about what they do. The feedback we receive on a daily basis is always In depth, and the app is regularly updated with lots of pictures and observations.
The management team are fantastic and we can see a big difference in preschool since them joining the team.
They have allowed us back into the setting for collection which hasn't happened since Covid. I attended a Father's Day tea which was well organised and such a lovely experience for me to see my son enjoying his time with his friends.
I would highly recommend this setting.

My daughter has loved being at Child First and will undoubtedly miss it terribly when she moves to primary school this year. Even though there have been a number of managers since she joined a couple of years ago, the core staff have worked really hard to keep the children happy and provided consistency
for them. The level of detail received in the reports/updates via the app has been great; providing reassurance that my daughter is on track with her learning and development. I also get lovely personal feedback when picking up my daughter each day from her key person. Even when I get feedback from another member of staff, they still seem well versed in what she has been up to each day. The flexibility and availability at the Pre-school for amending or increasing hours has also been great, which I'm told is a rarity these days. And lastly; great food, great facilities and outdoor space, great range of activities... I would highly recommend this Pre-school!

The pre-school is very supportive not only to my son but to parents as well, especially under extreme pressure (Covid). All staff engage so well with children and encourage them to express themselves while learning in a fun way.
I've never had my son be so happy in an environment like this.
If my
son has a certain interest they use that in different areas to keep him engaged. I also love the fact the pre-school utilises the garden as much as they do to explore the natural environment. Would highly recommend to everyone without a doubt!

Child First have been absolutely brilliant! They really worked hard to support my child with his transition from another nursery. He has been so happy there and has built very good relationships with the staff. He enjoys a wide variety of activities including science experiments, cooking and growing
vegetables.
He has and continues to thoroughly enjoy his time at Child First Pre-School and I would recommend this setting to anyone looking.

Welcoming and friendly staff. They made me feel very comfortable sending my child here. Always keep you up to date with daily activities and what they have eaten. My son always comes out happy and cannot wait to go the next day. I will definitely recommend to friends with children.

I have had two children attend this preschool and the connected nursery in the last few years. Both have loved it, made friends and talked enthusiastically about the activities, the facilities and the food. All the staff have been very good, but I'd particularly like to praise one lady, who my children
were drawn to for her conversation and teaching them things about the world and Spanish... The management team have also always been approachable, and it is a very welcoming place.

Both my children have attended Child First Aylesbury Pre-School and throughout the 6 years they have provided excellent care. The staff are helpful, friendly and kind... nothing is too much trouble. Both children settled in well and love going each day. The environment is always stimulating, engaging
and inspiring for the children. The staff support the children with all aspects of the Early Years Curriculum and prepare them well for their transition to primary school. Thank you Child first for the great service over the years.

It is a very good pre-school with lovely staff, my son loves it there and he is not an easy child to please, he gets a lot of support and learning and I would recommend it to any parent! Also the managers are very helpful getting my son ready for school.

01. Child First Aylesbury Pre-school has been our choice for both our daughters: Our eldest still remembers fondly her time there and our youngest is very excited to come every single day.
The staff is amazing with so much heart and a caring mindset. The teachers really make an effort to engage the
kids and develop them in a very individualised way. The management is really committed to providing a safe, fun, and loving environment and I really enjoy the attention and importance they pay also to the food preparation and education for the kids. I honestly cannot recommend Child First preschool enough and we cannot wait for our baby son to attend too, when his time will come.

I had a very good experience with all staff when I had inquiries and my son is very happy to go there. They offer a variety of food and they do take into consideration parents' preferences. They also have lots of different activities every day and different methods of teaching to suit little personalities.

My child is always so happy at the preschool and is excited to tell me the wonderful activities he has been doing. I am especially impressed with the way they have dealt with Covid. The cooking activities are a highlight and taste delicious.

My daughter has enjoyed every minute of Child First preschool so far. They have been fantastic in the transition of starting preschool and full-time hours. All questions and queries have been answered promptly and fully. We enjoy the emailed newsletters and communication through Facebook and Instagram.
Handovers are detailed so that I know how much food my daughter has had and what activities she did! My review is based on the smile my daughter comes out with. It's always a big one!

My daughter has been attending Child First Pre-School for a year now, and she loves it. The staff are all really lovely and great at their jobs. It has a lovely big outdoor space that my little girl loves. I'd definitely recommend this nursery/Pre-School.

My little girl has attended preschool since she turned three. She has such a great time there, she asks to go every day. She has made amazing bonds at preschool with her keyworker, piers and all the staff. Child First has always provided her with such great opportunities to learn she has even learnt
some Spanish!
I definitely recommend Child First Pre-school. My daughter is thriving there.

My grandson attends this Preschool and is very happy here. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. The feedback is very good and I always hear in detail about what my grandson has been up to, throughout the day.
They carry out cooking activities with the children, which he loves and is so excited
to bring it home.
A wide range of activities are carried out and he gets to do the especially messy ones here (which he thoroughly enjoys). The preschool is very spacious with an amazing space outdoors.
There is good communication between the preschool and parents and at the end of each week, I hear about all the exciting things my grandson has been up to. There are also activities and songs that I can do at home and continue with what he has been learning.

This is my third child to use Child First and I would not use any other setting. My child is happy and well engaged through creative and tailored experiences. The staff are friendly and my child is happy around them. There is constant communication and feedback which ensures I am always well informed
of what has happened throughout the day. There are individual ideas of how to help progress a development target at home and creative ideas of how to encourage progress at home.
