Child First Aylesbury Pre-School, located near the town centre and close to local bus and train services, works in collaboration with parents to achieve the very best outcomes for children.
The holistic curriculum uses open-ended resources to inspire curiosity and encourage deep, meaningful learning.

Here at Child First Aylesbury Pre-School, aim to foster responsibility, independence, self-awareness, and resilience through first-hand experiences and learning through play. Children are supported in becoming independent learners, taking part in daily tasks such as self-serving, washing up after snacks, and preparing their own food, including cutting fruit and vegetables.

Outdoor exploration is a key priority at the pre-school. Children enjoy the recently renovated garden and take part in regular Forest School sessions, where they learn to take appropriate risks and develop an understanding of fire safety by helping to make campfires and toast special treats.

The Helicopter Stories programme enhances creativity and listening skills and plays a crucial role in building confidence, supporting effective communication and language development. Weekly outings to the local library or supermarket further enrich children’s learning - whether choosing ingredients for science experiments or discovering new stories to enjoy together.

Open Monday to Friday, 8:00–18:00, the pre-school cares for children aged 2 years 9 months to 5 years.

My daughter has been going to the nursery/ preschool since 2023 and she loves it! The staff are great and issues I've had have been dealt with quickly and I've been informed throughout, she's made so many friends and loves her preschool teachers! She has learnt a lot and I'm very happy with her progress

Our daughter loved going to preschool. She got on well with all the staff and couldn't wait to go each day. Everyone was so friendly and caring! She enjoyed all the activities and going out in the garden. I Would definitely recommend Child First Preschool!

Our daughter started at the preschool in January after moving over from the nursery, and even though she wasn't there for very long, it's been such a lovely experience. The staff have always been really warm and kind - not just to her, but to us as well - and we always felt like she was really well
cared for. She genuinely enjoyed going in every day, and we could tell she felt happy and safe there. The team were also so supportive whenever anything came up, whether it was something small or a bit more serious. We're really sad to be leaving so soon but we're grateful for the way they looked after her, and for how easy and reassuring they made everything feel in the time she was there.

My daughter absolutely loves going to Child First Preschool. She has formed great relationships with the staff and children. She gets upset when she realises it's not a day for her to go to preschool at the weekends or the day her Granny looks after her!
I love how they're outside playing lots, have
forest school, get messy and involved in everything, including teaching them building things like bookcases with screwdrivers.
I feel that my daughter has developed so much here.
Communication between parents and preschool is great, and staff are always happy to help with any requests.

Our son has moved from Child First Nursery to Child First Pre-school a few months ago. The transition was organised in advance and handled really well making sure that us as parents are kept informed with his progress and at the same time allowing our son to accommodate with the new setting as well
as the staff.
Communication throughout is really well managed by the management team and updates are provided regarding the children through their app.
Have recommended the pre-school to parents we know and we are happy with our child's progress so far.

My little girl loves coming to preschool and will always ask if it's a preschool day. My little girl always goes in with a smile and comes out with a bigger smile. She has developed so much since starting there and is super confident. The team at preschool are caring and kind and show so much love towards
all the children. My little girl loves the huge outdoor space especially the mud kitchen where she often makes 'cupcakes' for her teachers. She will come home full of stories about her forest school sessions and tales of the day and the yummy food she has eaten. Honestly love this preschool and will be sad when my little girl goes to school in September. I cannot recommend this nursery enough.

Our child attended the pre-school and nursery. They enjoyed their time there and in pre-school had particularly enjoyed forest school. The pre-school environment is very welcoming and a great place for a child to develop. The staff are very kind and friendly, provided updates via collection or phone.
Would recommend to other parents.

Amazing pre-school! My son started in November 2023 and has come along leaps and bounds. He's very settled and loves everyone there. The staff are amazing with the children and great with allergies. I will be sending my youngest son there when his time comes! My son can be a bit of a fussy eater at
home but often has two helpings of meals and enjoys most things he eats!

Child First have been fantastic for both of our children, our youngest having just completed his time there. The staff are friendly and professional, and it's obvious how much they care about the children. Both of our children thoroughly enjoyed their days at the preschool and went in happy each morning:
the variety of toys/activities on offer was excellent. I really appreciated the fact that they got to play outside most days (the outside space is very good) and the recent addition of the forest school went down a treat. The communication was brilliant, with regular updates about meals etc. being provided via the app. We will miss Child First but have lots of fond memories!

Since my daughter has attended ChildFirst Preschool, she has progressed so much. She has grown in confidence and has made a lovely bond with the teachers. The outside environment is excellent for her, such a big space. She has enjoyed attending Forest School and learning different things.

The preschool have been fantastic since my daughter transitioned over from the nursery. As a SEN child, my daughter is given the care and attention she requires whilst also being taught key skills with the other children. They are very inclusive and all children are treated as equals. We are kept up
to date with everything my daughter has done throughout the day and what she has eaten. The staff are all kind, friendly and easy to talk too. Highly recommend Child First to any parent.

My daughter has started this preschool back in September and I can openly say how much she enjoys coming to preschool and making new friends and she likes her teachers. The staff are all lovely and kind and caring. My daughter enjoys coming to preschool, she tells me about her day, the things she likes

My daughter has been at the pre-school since leaving the nursery and has always enjoyed being at the setting. The staff are always very welcoming and make the children feel not only valued as an individual, but also as part of the pre-school family. The staff are very attentive and always communicate
effectively with parents to ensure parents are in the know, whether that be because the child reached an EYFS goal or to discuss general day to day activities. The setting is very inclusive and always ensures that a whole spectrum of holidays are included such as Eid, Christmas, and events like the King's coronation- to give the child a better understanding of the world. Overall the setting is an amazing pre-school, no job is too big or small for the manager and the area manager is always at hand and oversees the pre-school to ensure the setting runs smoothly. The pre-school has recently had the garden renovated and is ten out of ten, would recommend.

I have recommended and continue to recommend this preschool to anyone I meet. My daughter transitioned here from nursery, which the staff really helped her prepare for, and it's been the same positive experience as she transitions to primary school.
My daughter loves being here, has learned so much
about the world around her and has truly excelled with support from her key person and other staff members. While there have been a number of management changes, the core staff have been consistent and changes haven't seemed to affect how happy my child is in the setting.
Dietary needs are catered for with fresh food prepared on site. We felt supported and cared for as a family. We have built such a good rapport with the staff here, which is testament to their skills and love for what they do. This is a creative and fun space where children are embraced and thrive! My daughter will definitely miss preschool.

Fantastic preschool with great staff. My child loves attending her sessions and always comes out with a big smile on her face. The facilities are brilliant. Big space for the children to play and the garden is excellent. Would highly recommend this setting.
