Busy Bees Bitteswell

My son started nursery at Busy Bees Bitteswell in September 2023 at just past 12 months old. He's always been a sensitive, high-needs baby and I was worried about how he would cope. Well, I absolutely needn't have worried at all. My son is so well looked after, and it is so clear that all the staff that work in his room absolutely love him (and all the other children they work with) and are passionate about their jobs. We receive great handovers each day to let us know what he has been up to, and the app also helps keep my mind at ease that he's okay during the day. He sleeps and eats amazingly at nursery, I swear he has a better diet than me! There are always plenty of activities for the babies to be engaging with, and I am astonished at how quickly he is learning, growing and changing every day. I couldn't be happier with my choice to send my son to Busy Bees Bitteswell!

My grandson has been attending this nursery for just over a year now. The staff go above and beyond to be helpful in all aspects of their job. My grandson has had some health issues and every time he’s had an episode at nursery the staff have stepped up to help him taking everything in their stride. They are all friendly and always smiling and happy and Grandson counts it as his second home.

We love that all of the food is made freshly on-site. I have considered joining them for lunch on more than one occasion as the menu is that good.

Our one-year-old is in the baby room. He absolutely loves his time at the nursery and has built close relationships with the staff. He is well-stimulated with a range of activities that are engaging, seasonal and child-led. His independence is strongly encouraged, particularly around feeding himself and taking risks. Most of all, I am extremely happy with how safe and cared for he is.

My son has attended Busy Bees Bitteswell since he was 9 months old. He’s moving on soon as he starts school but I can’t thank the Busy Bees team enough for the care they have given. I couldn’t think of a group of better people to help bring up my child. He has learnt so much. I can’t credit one individual because all of them are just amazing. Thank you so much!

We love the daily updates we receive from the nursery in terms of food, fluids, naps and photos of activities, just gives us added peace of mind that she’s having a good day whilst we’re at work. The updates throughout the day are always alongside a thorough handover at the end of the day and we love hearing about the varied activities she has participated in throughout the day. Beyond grateful to of found this in our eyes faultless nursery!

Been with the nursery for around six months now. The staff are fantastic and can’t do enough to support the children. The facilities are very good and strike an excellent balance between being a safe, but fun environment.

Settling sessions have been offered and the staff have all been welcoming and friendly, they have made such an effort with the children. The setting is clean, plenty of equipment and there are a lot of fun and educational activities for the children to do.

Both our son and daughter have attended since they were 10 months old (now 4 and almost 2 years old). We've always been really happy with the nursery and the care our children receive. However, in the last year, the nursery has really stepped up and improved every single aspect of the experience. The staff are incredible - friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and caring. Our children absolutely love to go and they participate in a huge range of fun activities which really support their development. The environments and provocations for play are constantly changing and what's brilliant is that these are prompted by the children themselves. We get great feedback and daily photos. The menu is varied and nutritious. It's clean and safe. They have started offering extra activities like football and yoga, which my son loves. They have also put a lot of thought into how to prepare the 3/4 years olds for school too. I cannot fault it and I'm so grateful that we decided to send our children here!

Since our son has joined Busy Bees at Bitteswell, we have noticed a significant improvement in his happiness and his interactivity with us as parents. We attribute this to the loving and caring environment that has been brought into and the particular bond that he has formed with individual key workers. This doesn’t happen by accident and we are eternally grateful for the time and dedication that all of the staff at Busy Bees have taken to make our son feel like he has a second home.

I have had a very positive experience with this nursery. The staff have been amazing, always give a good handover. They managed the pandemic very well and I felt very safe for my son to attend. My son loves it there.

The meals are written on a chalkboard outside the front door each day so you know what he’s going to be having. The meals are always nutritious and well balanced and the nursery caters for my son’s dietary needs without any fuss.

New management has been a resounding success, with loads of positive and proactive changes.

My son first started out at this nursery and he has left for school and my daughter started this nursery around four months old. My daughter absolutely loves the nursery and has a great bond with many members of staff, my daughter always goes to nursery with a smile on her face and is constantly learning new things. The range of activities is outstanding and it’s a joy to have my daughter attend here.

My little boy attends Busy Bees full time in their Foundation Class and loves every second. He can’t wait to come home and tell us all what he has been up to during his day at Nursery. The team are fantastic, they take such great care of the children and do their utmost to make the children’s nursery days fun and exciting. I can’t thank them enough for how well my child is cared for, on a daily basis.

My 1-year-old goes to Bitteswell and she's so happy. I feel she's so loved and cared for, almost like a little part of a family. Her parent zone is full of beautiful ' in the moment ' pictures, with exciting activities.

My son has been attending the nursery since September 2020 when he was 9 months old. I think all the staff are brilliant at what they do and my little boy's development is amazing from day to day. I like that he gets to do a lot of different activities and it gives me ideas on what to do at home with him. The app is also amazing for this! Two members of staff, in particular, have both been a big part of my son's development and he recognises them each time he sees them even on the tablet at home from when they were reading books. They are all amazing and can't fault anything at all. Thank you to all the staff at Bitteswell and please know you are doing an amazing job.

Over the last few months, our little boy has developed so much through the nursery. He now interacts with his cousins without crying first and doesn't cry at people that come up to him. He is more sociable and his confidence is through the room and it's totally down to what the girls at the nursery have done with him. We can't thank you enough for your time and effort that you have done with him.
