Brilliant nursery and staff. My kids run in loving it. The all-round care and facilities are excellent. I have recommended this nursery to other parents and will continue to do so.

The nursery staff are fantastic with the kids. They always have brilliant ideas for art projects for the kids which they display around the rooms. They have a great outside space for the kids to get the chance to run around. They have a great summer scheme too.

My daughter started Clearly Kids at 7 months old, I was extremely nervous about her starting as she is my first child. The staff were amazing with her and made me feel so at ease, they always told me what they had got up to during the day, activities, feeds etc. She is now 22 months and is so sociable
and her progress in her development is incredible! It is with deep regret that we have to take her out of nursery but I cannot thank the staff enough!

Can't rate this place highly enough. Really well run nursery. The managers set the tone for a friendly, caring and well-run nursery. The staff are caring and passionate. Genuinely so. Our boys love going there. There are so many activities to do and they are constantly adding new things for the boys
to do.


The single floor layout is excellent and being purpose built is brilliant. This maximises the opportunity for the children and the outdoor space is excellent. I have worked for a children's nursery group so I appreciate this fact.


The boys are genuinely tired after being at nursery after school - but purely due to the level of fun, interaction with the staff/other children and activities they are involved in.


As I say, can't rate this place highly enough. Happy children make for happy parents and this nursery deserves every praise.

My daughter started just after Christmas 2019. I was very apprehensive as for the last 2 years she had a one on one child minder. However, within a month my daughter had settled in and looked forward to going every morning. The staff there are so friendly and my daughter just loves them, even giving
out hugs before we leave each night.

This is such a great nursery. It has a real homely feel and all the staff are very professional and enthusiastic in their job. I cannot recommend Clearly Kids enough. My son has been there now for 2 years and has absolutely thrived due to the care and support of the staff. The manager is so friendly and genuine and nothing is ever too much trouble. The confidence and independence that has been instilled in my son over the 2
years he has been there is clear to see and is due to the amazing, friendly and devoted staff. The menu variety and quality is outstanding and the ability to leave my son in a safe, caring environment is one that you cant put a price on.

This is a great nursery! My daughter has been going there for 3 years and really enjoys her time there. The facility is very spacious, clean and child friendly. They constantly update their educational toys and games so kids learn and are never board. I can't praise Bangor nursery staff enough. They
really help my daughter to come out of her shell. They genuinely care about the kids and their individual needs. I would highly recommend Clearly Kids.

I could not recommend Clearly Kids Day Nursery Bangor enough. My son has been there for three years now and the support system in place for families has been amazing. All staff are friendly, helpful and most importantly care for my son. This is the biggest comfort knowing he is safe and cared for when
I'm at work. The best childcare facilities in Bangor and even I would say in Northern Ireland, the standard set is always five stars.

Excellent nursery for transitioning from 5-year long childminder - very sensitive, reassuring and thoughtful to both child and mother's needs. Kept me well informed, settled anxiety. Child settled better than I could have imagined or hoped for. I feel this was due to effort and attention the staff paid
to her needs. Staff are a companies gold and clearly, kids have excellent staff. Which is amazing as children are your most prized loved gift.

My husband and I cannot praise this nursery highly enough. We were very nervous as last Autumn we had to move our children from another nursery and we tried to find one that would suit us better in terms of location/pick-ups etc. From the first phone call to Clearly, we were so impressed and the management
could not have been more helpful. We got answers to all our questions immediately, we were invited for a tour as many times as we wanted (I think we went 3 times) and welcomed into the rooms with smiles. We chose Clearly Kids and I cannot fault the care of our children. The facilities are excellent and spotless, the food and menus are better than what they get at home and every single member of staff will say hello when they pass you. They take so much time with the children. Our children love it and it literally feels like our extended family. Thank you Clearly Kids.

My daughter has been attending Clearly Kids in Bangor for approximately a year and a half. We have recently moved location, so with a very heavy heart, we have decided to move her to a new nursery closer to where will be living.


The nursery itself is ultra modern and an element I particularly like

is that the children can see into adjoining rooms, so making the transition from rooms very easy.
The Manager at Clearly Kids is an absolute credit to the company and honestly, you wouldn't meet someone more caring and understanding and she certainly has a genuine interest in every child. She is constantly pushing herself to learn and introduce new processes, learning, development into the nursery.


All the staff have made my daughter so welcome and happy. It has been an extremely difficult decision to move on to pastures new. I would have no hesitation recommending Clearly Kids to other parents and I would actively encourage a visit if you are in the process of searching for childcare.

I couldn't be happier with the care my children get at Clearly Kids. It is such a relief for working parents to find somewhere where your children are genuinely happy and well cared for. The staff and management are all very dedicated to the children and there is a great organisation in terms of school
and nursery drop offs and pickups. They were also very accommodating when I was considering which nursery to choose and able to provide care the days I needed it. Baby room staff are excellent with my son as is the pre-school room with my daughter, however, I have heard nothing but praise from parents whose children are in the other rooms. I highly recommend Clearly Kids to anyone looking for childcare in Bangor.

I stopped off one day at Clearly Kids, to get some literature on what they offer, the manager was very welcoming after an in-depth talk on what the nursery could offer our twins. I was shown around the complex.


One thing that stuck firmly in my head was how happy and content the babies and children

were. The complex is all on one level, has numerous exit points in case of an emergency, designated play areas, that are secure and fenced off and all the nursery nurses are paediatric trained, which is reassuring for any parent. The twins love going to nursery, the girls are so good with the babies and it never an issue in the morning when they are dropped off. Their wholesome food is prepared on the premises by the chef. Their development needs are also looked after, my son has needed physiotherapy exercises done whilst in the nursery and the girls have always worked hard to get him to meet his goals. To anyone that is considering placing their child in daycare. go look round, you won't be disappointed.

I simply cannot speak highly enough of every aspect of this nursery. It was my daughter's first experience of a nursery since my wife went back to work before Xmas. The difference was evident very early for both ourselves & staff seeing how she grew in confidence with all the new friends she made &
positive experiences she had each day.


My son also joined a few days a week initially but loved it so much that he is there full time and is dropped off and picked up from school each day looking forward to going to use all the facilities Clearly Kids have to offer. (This means a lot as we used a different nursery in Bangor when he was only 6mths old and had to leave due to below standard care.)
The staff at Clearly keep us regularly informed in all aspects of our children’s care and we see them grow more confident, happy & content each day. I would highly recommend Clearly Kids to any potential parent as they are not your standard nursery and go the extra mile to help wherever they can.

Fantastic Nursery! Both my girls have food allergies and the nursery caters very well for them. They always try to have the same type of food as the other kids. They really get to know the kids and genuinely really care. Would recommend this nursery to anyone.

Barbara

Barbara Dickson

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2002

Barbara has managed Clearly Kids Bangor for the last 10 years, but she has worked for the Clear Group for 18 years previously in Greendale.


Barbara is passionate about Early Years and being inclusive within the community. The children are the heart and soul of her practice and always remain a priority. She is passionate about professionally developing our team, the staff are the main asset and help the children learn, develop and learn new pathways each day.


Barbara said that Early Years remains one of the most important stages of our lives, and in our ethos, we would provide this positive experience for our families.


Barbara has an Early Years Degree alongside a Level 5 in Leadership and Management.

Adele

Adele

Job Title: Room Leader Joined: 2015

Adele has an NVQ level 2 and level 3 in Childcare, education and learning and she has gained knowledge of the Solihull approach through recent training.


Adele has 14 years childcare experience and she currently works as a room leader within one of the Clear Day Nursery's and have done so for 6 years. She is passionate about working with young children and building a partnership with the parents. Adele said she enjoy nothing more than watching the children blossom and build their own individual personalities.
