Stars Pre-School Welland is a nursery where children can attend the nursery in sessions between 8 am – 1 pm, or from 1.15 pm – 4.15 pm.

The nursery can also offer 1 pm – 6 pm session and arrangements to accommodate children in receipt of the funded 30 hours entitlement.

The children learn through play and interaction and are encouraged to explore their environment with a qualified key carer where they build strong relationships with children, parents and families right from settling into nursery through to the transition to school.

The key worker will do individual observation, planning and assessment in line with the early years foundation stage curriculum (EYFS).

There is also an excellent outdoor area where the children are encouraged to explore their natural world.

I am a father of 2 children, 17-months when my children started.
There are very good staff and very friendly with my children; they do their best.
For my self as a father, I have no issues with them, I do really like them; they are very respectful.

The teachers are very helpful, kind and talkative, easy to get along with and great at teaching. My child has learnt a lot! Lovely staff, lovely garden, a great place to play and learn, great at snacks times to keep kids entertained.

My eldest started in January 2020. He wasn’t much of a talker and I had some concerns about his speech delay, but since starting Stars Pre-School Welland, he’s come on leaps and bounds. He talks a lot more clearly. He’s learnt so many nursery rhymes alongside the actions, and he knows the words for
many objects. Every time he comes home, he seems to have learnt something new. He loves the staff there also and has learnt to interact with other children.
Lovely staff - never had an issue with leaving my children in their care.

I would highly recommend Welland Stars nursery to friends and family. Always clean and always friendly. Will resolve issues to high standards and will report back ASAP to parents. Outstanding nursery, both of my sons have gone here, and one is currently still in the setting. Manage and keyworker made
me feel welcome and comfortable when leaving and returning to collect my child, always polite and always smiling.

Can’t recommend this place more highly. The staff are amazing, friendly and very caring. My daughter doesn’t go every day, but when does, she loves to be there playing with her friends, and she always comes home happy.

Stars Pre-School Welland is an amazing nursery. This nursery has a positive atmosphere and a variety of areas inside the nursery and in the playground for the children to learn and explore. The staff at this nursery are wonderful. They are a pleasure to talk to and they are very hardworking. The staff
are very supportive and always ready to help. The staff at the nursery encourage, motivate and help your child to develop. The staff created such a strong and loving bond with my children which made their experience at this nursery memorable. I also feel that my children have become confident and have learnt a lot from this nursery. I only have nothing but positive things to say about this nursery from my own experience. I feel that this is an amazing nursery that deserves a lot of recognition for the hardworking and dedication that all the staff put in. I always recommend this nursery to family and friends. I also recommend this nursery because it’s a brilliant nursery to attend. 10/10

My daughter absolutley loves her pre-school. She is very close to her key worker and has made lots of friends. The staff are amazing and have made her transition into pre-school a wonderful experience for her and for us.
My daughter comes home every day with stories about what she’s been up to, new
information and new songs she learnt. I would definitely recommend StarsPre-School Welland! I’m glad we chose this setting for our little one.

My little girl started here in September, and I couldn’t be more proud of how much she has come on since doing so. She has the best relationship with her key person and key-buddy, and I know when I leave, she will be getting lots of love and care from the staff there.
Being a full-time mum can take
its toll and your esteem when you know your little one needs to go into the nursery. However, I know she’s getting the best care and learning when I do go off to work myself.

We started our journey with Stars Preschool Welland back in 2016 with my eldest son and continued with my other son who started in 2018. They both absolutely loved going to their nursery. The staff are amazing and very caring and the boys treated them almost like a part of the family. They both made
some great friendships and developed some amazing life skills with the help of lovely ladies. I would most definitely recommend this nursery and to be completely honest there is not even one negative thing I can recall related to the nursery.

I have worked in the childcare sector for over 20 years - 12 years of this being with Stars Day Nurseries.
I have a level 4 in childcare and a level 4 in Management.
I have completed extensive SEN and portage training.
I am Manager of Stars Pre-School Welland and Stars Pre-School Dogsthorpe. I run my settings with passion and commitment ensuring my staff's well-being is paramount and provide them with training opportunities to develop themselves to help the children.
The children have a safe environment with enriching activities that challenge and stimulate their development, providing fun around their interests.
