Stars Pre-School Welland is a nursery where children can attend the nursery in sessions between 8 am – 1 pm, or from 1.15 pm – 4.15 pm.

The nursery can also offer 1 pm – 6 pm session and arrangements to accommodate children in receipt of the funded 30 hours entitlement.

The children learn through play and interaction and are encouraged to explore their environment with a qualified key carer where they build strong relationships with children, parents and families right from settling into nursery through to the transition to school.

The key worker will do individual observation, planning and assessment in line with the early years foundation stage curriculum (EYFS).

There is also an excellent outdoor area where the children are encouraged to explore their natural world.

Absolutely love this pre school! My son has flourished since joining preschool after being at a childminders previously. All of the staff are lovely and create great working relationships with the parents and the children. My son adores all staff and always talks about his key person when he comes home.
Updates and photos are always updated on the babys days app which is lovely to see as well as on the social media page. I would 100% recommend Stars Preschool Welland to anyone!

The staff are all very friendly. My daughter loves being there and is always taken care of, is comfortable and enjoys the snacks offered. The premises are always clean and so is my daughter when she’s collected. Overall such an amazing nursery for her to start her learning with so happy with her being

My experience has been amazing with Stars Welland. 3 of my children have attended this setting in the last 9 years and I have always had a wonderful experience. The staff are all amazing. They always go above and beyond. My son's keyworker is amazing too. My son has autism and they accommodate his needs
perfectly and always ensure he is well cared for. I highly recommend this nursery.

My daughter started this nursery in May 23' and has settled in very well. She has made friends and doesn't stop talking about them and the activities she has done throughout the session. She gets very upset on the day she doesn't have to go. The teachers are respectful and approachable and will give
sound feedback about her day whenever I collect her. I like the fact a teacher recognised that my child was a slow/fussy eater and gave advice on how to encourage her to eat more. I'm happy we chose this nursery for my daughter and would recommend it to anyone who wants to enrol their child.

My son loves this preschool. He's been here since September 2023 and looks forward to attending every day. Never had a problem with him wanting to be there which is amazing. All the staff are lovely and my son is without a doubt blossoming here.

My daughter started this preschool in October 2023 and is really enjoying it, she always comes home smiling and the staff are all kind and supportive to not just the children but parents too. I would 100% recommend this preschool to anyone who is looking.

My daughter went there for 2 years she really enjoyed it and made a few friends. She learnt very well and her speaking was very improved and the staff are very helpful and supportive. My son is two years old and he is going to join this September I really recommend Stars Pre-School Welland.

So if I could give this nursery a million stars I definitely would! They are amazing so supportive and understanding, the staff go above and beyond for the children even when it's time for reception they still support you, I couldn't recommend this nursery enough.

Very happy with this preschool.
Amazing staff, very friendly and helpful.
Important thing is that my daughter is very happy to go there!
They are doing many different activities which are really good! And I’m very happy that I can see all photos and videos in the app.

The staff are absolutely amazing, friendly, and so supportive of my children and our family. Both my daughters love going and cannot wait to get there in the mornings. My eldest talks about her key worker all the time; she is brilliant with her and has made her come on leaps and bounds. My youngest
has also taken to her key worker, who is also great with her and has helped her become more confident. I couldn’t recommend a better nursery for your child.

Best nursery. Always super and very friendly staff. You feel like you are in your own home. They have a beautiful garden and plenty of space for playing. Kids can stay in or outdoors. So many activities for kids. Every day different activities. Superb!

The nursery is amazing, and the staff are kind, caring and helpful. Since my daughter has been here, she connected with the staff/children and has come out of her shell being away from me. My child is always a happy little girl when off to nursery and picking her up; she definitely enjoys nursery.

The best nursery you could even think of for your child! My son really enjoys going in there; he has learned a lot of new things. Both my grandchildren have been or still going to this nursery. I can say nothing but good for them. They are amazing with the children, and they have also been there for my daughter and helped and advised her. I would recommend them over and over again. The staff are always happy and smiling. The kids
always come out happy and tell me what they have done. The staff go above and beyond; I can't praise them enough. My grandson, who used to cry when he left, doesn't now, and his speech and learning have come on leaps and bounds. Thank you so much to all the staff.

This is by far the greatest nursery I've seen. We have used them over an 8-year span for our three oldest children now 10, 9 and 4. They have always gone above and beyond for the needs of each child and do so for every child in their care. The staff are incredibly friendly and fantastic with the children,
and I cannot believe it would be possible without a great leadership team. We have our 4th baby on the way, due to arrive soon and have already decided that we will happily commute the 30-45minute walk, just to ensure our next child is given every opportunity this nursery provides as it is exemplary in all aspects of care given within their setting.
I highly recommend sending your children here if you are able to, as, in my honest opinion, you won't find a more perfect fit or better carers for your child(ren) regardless of their needs.

I have worked in the childcare sector for over 20 years - 12 years of this being with Stars Day Nurseries.
I have a level 4 in childcare and a level 4 in Management.
I have completed extensive SEN and portage training.
I am Manager of Stars Pre-School Welland and Stars Pre-School Dogsthorpe. I run my settings with passion and commitment ensuring my staff's well-being is paramount and provide them with training opportunities to develop themselves to help the children.
The children have a safe environment with enriching activities that challenge and stimulate their development, providing fun around their interests.
