Stars Pre-School Welland is a nursery where children can attend the nursery in sessions between 8 am – 1 pm, or from 1.15 pm – 4.15 pm.

The nursery can also offer 1 pm – 6 pm session and arrangements to accommodate children in receipt of the funded 30 hours entitlement.

The children learn through play and interaction and are encouraged to explore their environment with a qualified key carer where they build strong relationships with children, parents and families right from settling into nursery through to the transition to school.

The key worker will do individual observation, planning and assessment in line with the early years foundation stage curriculum (EYFS).

There is also an excellent outdoor area where the children are encouraged to explore their natural world.

I moved my daughter to this nursery after a bad experience with her previous one. They have helped build her confidence and trust back up, so now she is able to go to nursery and enjoy her time there and come home with a big smile on her face.

I sent my daughter to this nursery after a very hard time in my life. They not only helped the transition to them for my daughter but also for myself helped me out with problems, and were very respectful and considerate. I would recommend this team to any family or friends, and if I am ever to have
another would happily place my child in their care. Absolutely amazing people and caring - there isn't a rating high enough for them.

The nursery is absolutely brilliant. My son always goes in with a smile on his face, which makes me feel at ease.
He loves attending, and that is shown on his days off, whereby all he asks for is to go to the nursery.
There are never any problems and always give you feedback at the end of the session,
which is brilliant.
Highly recommended. The staff are just incredible, and we love the little photos we get on the app of him doing what he does, especially when he's dressed up.

My son started here in September 2022. He took a while to settle, or shall I say a week, but the staff was absolutely amazing, and now he goes without bother. He actually wants to go, and as a parent, this is important to know your kids are being well cared for every day. His practitioner will come
out and tell me all about his day and what he has been doing. They are amazing. My son also learnt how to chop up veg in a short time and sit on a mat and sing the ABC. I'm so glad I chose such an accommodating nursery for my baby.

The nursery has gone above and beyond expectations. My son has an amazing bond with his key worker and really enjoys attending. Also, love the app and getting updated with sweet pictures of your little ones throughout the day. My child’s been attending for over 6-months, and I wouldn’t want him anywhere

Our son has attended Stars Welland since October 2021. We were nervous for him starting as he is set in his ways. However, from day one, the staff have been super friendly, accommodating and understanding. We are so proud of how far our son has progressed thanks to the staff of the nursery. Every day
he is excited to go and learn more and more and interact with other children and key workers. Our second son will be starting later in the year. Highly recommended. Thank you to all the staff.

I could not ask for my 3-year-old to go to a better preschool. He was very upset for a few weeks leaving me, but the staff here have been very supportive and understanding. He now loves preschool. It is well organised, friendly, helpful staff, who go above and beyond to support you. Would 100% recommend

Fantastic experience with this playschool. The staff are kind and very friendly. I have had all four of my children go to this playschool and would recommend to anyone to send them there. Communication between the staff and parents is excellent. My children loved/love this setting. The staff are amazing!

My eldest joined this nursery in 2018. My experience was really good with the nursery, so I selected the same nursery for my younger daughter. She joined this nursery when she was two. I must say the staff are really helpful, especially the manager and another member of staff.
My daughter loves her
nursery, and I'm glad because my daughter loves to go there.
It is safe and clean for your child - highly recommended.

Amazing staff, all friendly and welcoming.
My child loves going to nursery as she has so much fun and all her needs are met.
Staff are always available to talk if you are worried about your child.
They have different activities for the children each day.

I have two daughters three and four. My eldest used to attend the school, and she loved it. They supported me through her different learning ways and understanding how to help her improve. I have worked in the childcare sector for over 20 years - 12 years of this being with Stars Day Nurseries.
I have a level 4 in childcare and a level 4 in Management.
I have completed extensive SEN and portage training.
I am Manager of Stars Pre-School Welland and Stars Pre-School Dogsthorpe. I run my settings with passion and commitment ensuring my staff's well-being is paramount and provide them with training opportunities to develop themselves to help the children.
The children have a safe environment with enriching activities that challenge and stimulate their development, providing fun around their interests.
