Family-focused Shining Stars Pre-School in Peterborough gives children the chance to develop in an inclusive, safe and high-quality environment using active learning.

Promoting a family ethos, the pre-school's highly experienced and professional staff work closely with the children and their families to meet individual needs. Autonomous learning through play to grow independently is encouraged.

While the children continuously grow and learn in the pre-school's dynamic indoor and outdoor areas, parents are given daily feedback and termly consultations to ensure their children make the best progress they possibly can.

In the purpose-built bungalow with excellent links to the local community, children and their families have access to a sensory room, regular workshops and stay and play sessions. All children benefit from a home visiting programme.

The dedicated team is experienced in both speech and language development and children with special educational needs and has the ability to ensure all children are given the best opportunity to grow.

The setting has been excellent for my child she settled in with time but I had amazing support from all the staff. The staff have overall been very welcoming and supportive because my child was very upset in the beginning when she started. I am overall very pleased with the setting itself.

I really like this nursery, and so does my little one. It is a small nursery with a close-knit team, which I really appreciate there aren't hundreds of children running around. The staff are very communicative, friendly, and always helpful. My son loves going there, which says everything. We attended
another nursery before, but this one is truly excellent. I would happily recommend it to everyone. 5 stars, if I could give more, I would!

Its a lovely nursery very friendly with my child and me as well my child already started to learn a lot they encourage her in all ways and also they cuddle her when shes feeling very low they have all kinds of activities that improves her confidence

My son has started at shining star this year he was not ready to start the nursery but his teachers are wonderful, providing us with constant feedback and making him feel secure and confident and he's very happy to go by himself now.Thank you soo much for all the help and support.

I like this nursery because my elder son has already attended this nursery and now currently
My daughter is attending. Management is helpful and staff is very kind and helpful and always keeps us up to date . My daughter loves coming to nursery as she like coming to nursery and enjoys being in nursery.
She is making progress and every morning gets up early and eagerly asked when we will go to nursery.

Staff always care about child safety and wellbeing. Always friendly and helpfull, never had any issues with Shining Star staff. My first daughter been atending the same nursery as the second daughter. Both happy to go every day.

We have been so impressed with the team and learning environment at Shining Stars. Our son has learnt so much in terms of his vocabulary, counting, and independence. The facilities are clean and engaging, and they spend a great amount of time outdoors, which my son loves. I also appreciate the transparent
communication via the app/email. The staff are always available to chat about his progress. We feel completely confident that he is being well prepared for big school later this year. Thank you to the whole team!

I like how the pre-school feels so much like a welcoming home. All different ages get to play and learn from each other. The staff are always lovely and attentive. It's also perfect temperature in the play room which is great.
