Tiddlywinks Nursery Ancoats

This is an amazing nursery with very caring staff. My little boy is very active and they let him express himself and encourage it, which is all part of his learning and development. He settled in really well and the staff are always very welcoming and kind. My only comment would be, there is room for improvement in their learning, particularly on speech development for the babies, this is an area that could be given a little more attention. Overall, a great a nursery and I will totally recommend.

My child loves coming to Tiddlywinks. He always asks if he can come, even on days he doesn’t attend. I’m really glad that we were recommended this nursery by two other parents; it’s the best decision we made to enrol him here. He has progressed massively and grown so much in confidence and skills since being here. The staff are all so encouraging, and the language he uses shows this beautifully, as he always praises us as his parents for things we do well, clearly things he hears often at nursery, which is so lovely to hear.

My son started attending Tiddlywinks day nursery, Ancoats during the lockdown and on his first day, he really settled well and never cried when I dropped him off. This gave me peace of mind. I really appreciate the staff at Tiddlywinks day nursery, Ancoats for helping in my son's growth. I've noticed massive improvements and I'm very happy with the care my son receives.

My son started at Tiddlywinks Nursery Ancoats in the summer. From the first day, I have felt reassured that he is well looked after. He really enjoys it, and you can tell by how much he loves the staff. I am so happy that I chose Tiddlywinks.

My daughter has been going to Tiddlywinks in Ancoats for 4 months now and I couldn't be happier, so much so that we have moved house to a different area but still choose to commute to this nursery. Every single member of staff makes the effort to say hello and make small talk at drop-off and pick-up which really gives a sense of the friendly feel to this nursery. My daughter settled in well and we get regular updates on how she is doing, both via the app and when we see the staff. Security at the nursery is really good, my husband once got asked for ID as he doesn't pick her up much - this was really reassuring. They do lots of different activities with the children which keep them stimulated throughout the day. Management are great and respond to any queries really quickly.

We couldn't be happier with Tiddlywinks. They really understand that little ones and their parents may be nervous about nursery and do everything that can to make it a wonderful experience. Parents are kept informed of what their little ones are doing and having to eat via updates and photos through the app, while little ones are kept stimulated and entertained with a variety of activities throughout the day. Best of all, the staff really care and closely work hard to ensure the little ones are happy while trying new things and developing new skills. It's great to see our baby having such a good time and coming home having learnt new things - he started at 11-months, but we'd wholeheartedly recommend Tiddlywinks for little ones of all ages.

I am very happy with how my daughter has progressed through nursery since starting in the baby room. Her development has been excellent and she is always telling me what such a good time she has had every time she comes home. She is always talking about her key worker and I am happy knowing she has this relationship with her key worker.

But now he’s really surprising us all with the amount of new words and sentences he’s saying daily!

The staff here are fantastic, very supportive, caring and just overall really lovely people.

My son really didn’t like going to his old nursery, he would cry every day on the way there, but not at Tiddlywinks; he bounces in every day with a smile and waves me goodbye.

It had been the best experience both for myself and my adorable one. I am so glad we signed my daughter up at this nursery. It helps my child to understand words and the world, making teaching and communication easier for my family.

I can't recommend this nursery enough. They have been absolutely fantastic with my son. He has attended the setting for over a year, after having a dreadful time at his previous nursery. He settled so well and I felt comfortable leaving him with the very capable staff from day one. The parent app keeps you updated and you can see photos of activities throughout the day. He is well-fed and all of his needs are more than met. He has so much fun and speaks fondly of his time at nursery. Children are stimulated with different activities, all of the other toddlers seem very happy there too. He talks about his friends and the staff when he comes home. They have lots of time outside as well, which my son loves. They have brilliant facilities and lots of different areas for the children to explore. The nursery is clean and smells nice, unlike some nurseries! It's very calming in the reception area, making children feel comfortable and relaxed.

My little boy loves coming to Tiddlywinks Day Nursery Ancoats, literally jumping at the door. They handled the transition to nursery really well and reassure you with updates on the app throughout the day. All staff are friendly and very competent. I would highly recommend.

Tiddlywinks Day Nursery Ancoats has a fantastic team. They are very helpful and provide a lot of information about the nursery so we can stay updated. My son has been going to nursery for four months now and he is loving it. He has become very active since he has begun going to the nursery. The manager is very sweet and is always happy to help. I am very thankful to one member of staff for taking such good care of my son. Overall, I am very satisfied with the service up to now.

I have had the opportunity to see all of what my child has done. They have taken the time to explain what she likes and how she is growing. It's been a very open conversation and the help the staff have given her and the bond she has with them is amazing. She loves coming here because of the care and interest all the staff have for each of the children.
